Can anybody help me root a model SM-T378V - Samsung Galaxy Tab E Questions & Answers

I find literally no information regarding this model. Kingroot fails every time.
Googling 'root "SM-T378V"' only provides junk results.
This tablet is running 7.1.1 and I have had zero luck in rooting this.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?

As far as I can tell there's nothing that can be done with that variant, I haven't been able to find any recovery or root instructions anywhere.

Trouble rooting SM-T537V (Complete Noob!)

Hello everyone,
I am trying to root a SM-T537V, and I am having no success. My end goal is to attempt to run a linux distro on my tablet for fun and to use for my school assignments. I tried KingRoot, which achieved root, but lost it upon reboot. Some more research said this was because the bootloader was locked. I also tried towelroot, and the app seemed to do nothing. I don't mind doing it manually, but I just cant find any steps or information on the process.

Hi there I also have a SM T537 but mine is the AT&T Variant (the other overbearing service provider), I wish I had some advice for you, But I too have only had success in getting temporary root with Kingroot. No other one click rooter has had any success.
My device in question :
Samsung Tab 4
SM-T5337A
Running Android 5.1.1
BUILD # LMY47X.537AUCU1BOJ3
Has any one been able to get permanent root?, or able to point us to the proper thread, or even a “search phrase” to get us on the right path.

Root/photo recovery for CAZ-AL10

Hello,
I need to help someone with the CAZ-AL10 version of this phone recover some accidentally deleted photos on android 7.0. Though I have rooted phones in the past, I have never been asked to recover deleted pictures. From the research I have done in the past hour or so, I have found that file recovery on android phones:
Requires root
Requires you to use software on a computer
I wanted to reach out to see if anyone here has experience with either of these. The software I was going to try to use at this point is called "Dr. fone," as it seems the most reliable, but they clearly say you need root if your phone isn't in the model/android version on a list they have. If anyone else has any other suggestions/techniques, please let me know. I am particularly wary of third party software, as most of the websites seem really scammy to me, so if anyone can vouch for any that would be great.
Also, regarding root, I guess this is the Chinese version of the phone, and I can not read Chinese, so I really want to make sure I don't mess anything up. Could someone point me to a root method which will work with this version? Is it the same as other versions?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Unsuccessful S8 root, am I out $800?

Hi,
I purchased a locked Samsung S8 G950U in July from AT&T. I was disappointed to learn there wasn't a root out for it yet, but figured I could live with it until a root was released. I checked XDA yesterday and saw that a relatively simply root method had been posted. I tried following the PartCyborgRom method for rooting the phone. I was able to get into download mode and load into BL. I then followed the instructions and loaded in the AP file. The phone then asked if I would like to reboot. I was very happy as it appeared I had successfully gained root access. I rebooted the phone.
Now, the samsung logo pops up, but with lots of junk at the top. It then goes into a screen which shows "KERNEL PANIC" and several other errors. Seemingly ranomdly, I am able to get back into the download mode warning screen. I have tried the SamFAIL and SamPWNED methods to root since then, but none have worked.
What should I do? Can someone help me successfully root the phone? If someone is able to help me root the phone, I can offer a small bounty reward as loing as it is not against the rules.
edit: If someone would like to walk me through the root one on one, please PM me and we can go to discord or the client of your choice
You can unroot using official rom or using smartswitch. and for yor model cant help you much there is not much for the snapdragon models.
---------- Post added at 08:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:50 PM ----------
But on the other hand i had a look in the guide of the rom for your device and is not as easy as you say there is several steps you had to do also did make sure you flashed the righ modem and bootloader for your device do you hace working costom recovery on you device ??
Also, if you don't need rooting that much, I think you can revert back to stock firmware using ODIN?

If you followed the directions as clearly written in the OP of the thread then you did not do what you said above, as those are much certainly the directions. There is also discussion in the op and throughout the thread your exact problem is and what to do about.
They are all right though, easiest and most direct method is to just flash stock. Partcyborgrom uses the SamFail method (hint: i developed both) and sampwnd is v1 firmware only

LG Stulus 2 Duo Rooting?

I"m finding it impossible to find anything on rooting the LG Stylus 2.. I know it's an old phone but I'm hoping someone out there has a solution to this..
I've tried Kingo Root. Both the App and PC version fails to root the phone.
This phone is running Android 7.0.
I've rooted phones before. The last one I rooted was a Blackview BV6000 which was very easy to root using Smartphone Flash Tool and a root file.
Would someone be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks
does anyone even know how to unlock the bootloader.. The known method using adb doesn't work. Either does the method listed on their website.. It all requires you to boot into your bootloader which I can't get into.
has anyone been successful at unlocking the bootloader on this phone. LG-K520DY. ?
LG Stylus 2 Duo.
Did anyone find a solution?
