nylon cords for moto g6 plus with Turbo Power 5 V / 3 A - Moto G6 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
I am trying to buy nylon cords for my g6 plus but most of them in amazon and ebay say that is not compatible with Turbo power
if any of you could recommend me a brand -link if possible- of nylon cords compatible with Turbo Power technology to buy I would be very grateful!
Thanks!

Can anyone confirm if this item would be a perfect replacement to the original cord?

Thanks in advance!

[Q] Third-party Qi charging pad help?

First, I'm new to Qi charging, so please forgive (and correct) any mistaken assumptions I might have!
Anyways, based on the Budget Wireless Charger Showdown: 5 Qi Chargers all $11 - $15 shootout in the Nexus 5 forum, I decided to purchase a few Qi chargers. I received them and tested them with my friend's Nexus 5, confirming that wireless charging worked. Pretty neat!
A few weeks later, my Galaxy S5 wireless charging back FINALLY came in. I put it on my phone, put the phone on the charger, and nothing. I tried all the chargers, no luck. Nothing charged. But the Nexus 5 charged just fine. Assuming it was defective, I returned the charging back and ordered another one. Same thing. My phone doesn't charge on these chargers. The backs are both official Samsung accessories, bearing the Qi logo.
Is it incorrect for me to assume that all Qi charging backs will charge all Qi phones? Could my phone be defective? Any troubleshooting ideas?
Regardless, I'd love a recommendation for an inexpensive Qi charging back for my Galaxy S5. I'm going to need 3 or 4 of them.
Thanks!

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, the Qi charger you posted there costs nearly $50. Did the price go up?
Also, the photos of that unit look identical to the chargers I've bought (that don't work). I wonder if they're the same or different internally... Hmmn.

Geez.. That was $18.90 when I posted it last week. There must have been a run on them.
They were a good source because they were in New York most of the other sellers of this model are in China.
Edit: They're selling the White pad for $17.95

LG G4 QI Wireless Warning / Issues

I bought the CFR-100 Quick Circle Case with the QI coil, and was planning to rip it out but the case is actually quite nice so I'm using it as is - but be warned. The power requirements of the G4 seems to cause issues with existing QI pads (but I would hope not the official LG one) - I have tried it on a Maxell Dual coil pad, and it didn't work at all (the light just blinked and nothing happened on the phone), and on my Panasonic QE-TM101 moving coil pad it didn't work either, until I took off the clear plastic shield that comes with the pad, and even then to get it to work it is touchy and requires me to press down hard on the phone/pad for a few seconds to get the charging going....so it sort-of works with the Panasonic QE-TM101.
Edit: a friend has a white version of the QE-TM101 (mine is black) and it works all the time, no issues - but on mine, the issues are as above....it still doesn't work at all on the Maxell dual coil pad.
Edit 2: It may be variations in the quick cover case because it is all VERY touchy.....I took apart my black QE-TM101 and lengthened the spring that pushes up the coil, I also poured boiling water over the top cover to try to warp it inwards - and this has now made it work better, not 100% but 9 out of 10 times it will charge now without me pressing down on it.
Now that's weird...
I seriously cannot understand how LG decided to drop proper Qi support. And now, if it's going to have problems with even additional accessories, it's worse.
I'm using Nokia-101 which works flawless on my G3 even with a hard plastic case. Wondering if it supports Quick Circle considering it's one of the first (if not the) Qi chargers.
I have the Tylt Vu (http://www.tylt.com/vu/) which I had been using for my Nexus 5.
It's just not working with the G4 official Quick Circle case
It's weird because the G3 is listed as compatible. I'll try again later today but I'm not expecting anything.
I have ripped the official sticker out of the circle case and stuck it into my brown leather back and it charges great on both the official qi charger and this rather cheap one Qi Charger maybe you have a faulty one?
Hm...

Thought to buy just the QI sticker and put it to the original leather battery housing back. Do you see any issue with the leather back being hot during the charging? This is the only concern I have about it.
Thanks!

I have the same Tylt charger & it works fine with my H815. I have the Quick Circle Case. Which model do you have? If it's the AT&T model, it's Powermat.

Thanks for letting me know.
I have the H818P
It's not carrier locked, I didn't buy it from a carrier, although I'm not in the USA either.
I tried different positions again yesterday but nothing... It's still working fine with my Nexus 5

I haven't noticed out getting hot at all
Thanks!
FYI: Those stickers are on Amazon (Prime, too) if you're interested. $15.
I bought one yesterday.
I bought one off Amazon and installed it yesterday. It was a pain to get on right but it works perfect now
More power
I bought the quick circle case and was also having problems getting it to charge. I have a dual device Energizer pad and a cheap eBay pad. Neither was working with the quick circle case. Tonight I tried plugging the eBay pad into my 2A USB charger and it started charging. If you are having problems, try a higher power source for the charging pad. The Energizer pad still doesn't work, it has a non-USB plug power source.

Do you have the amazon link. I can't find the prime one. All i find are ones that won't arrive until Mid-July...not acceptable.
The one I bought days no longer available

The one I bought ended up not working on my Zens charger, so maybe you dodged one.
It was this one:

QI stickers burning internal chip ...?
Hello,
Reading through XDA forum, I got the understanding that QI stickers (at least some of them) are not working very long. Some experienced troubles, despite changing sticker / pad to different brand/model.
Is there any really positive experience on long term?
And if yes, please share what sticker and charging pad you use
I have some cheap off-brand wireless charging pad+sticker, and it works, but it charges so slowly it's hardly worth using, and the position has to be just right.

This thread has some great info on the stickers and chargers various people are using and the experiences they've had. My post from the thread is below. I'm still using the same sticker and charger daily, and I've had absolutely no issues. A good quality sticker and 3 coil charger go a long way towards minimizing issues.

G4 Model: Verizon G4 (VS986)
Sticker or Official: NeWisdom (Upgraded Chip) sticker via Amazon
Qi Charger: CHOE Stadium Qi Wireless 3-Coil Charger
Launcher: Nova Prime
DPI Used: Stock
Alarm Usage: Rarely
I installed the upgraded NeWisdom sticker a couple weeks ago, and I've been charging wirelessly each night since then. I have yet to experience any lockups. It does get hotter and charge slower than my previous phones that used OEM wireless charging backs (Galaxy S5, Note 4) or came with wireless charging built-in (Droid Turbo) when using the same wireless charger.

There is another thread around here with more information (Qi Charging Woes). Mine magically just got better. No more lockups at night, or anything. Maybe LG was pulling data at night and found it was causing lockups and tweaked the backup scripts. Lol. Kinda weird it went from 3-4 nights a week to none at all.

Can I use Motorola Turbo Power Supply with my new Nexus phone? USB Type C cable?

TO MODs: I'm not 100% sure if this belongs here or under "accessories", so if this is wrong place please move to wherever is appropriate, thanks!
So, I ordered both Nexus 5X and 6P last week and 5X should be arrive today and I need to start thinking about car & wall charger(s). I _ALREADY_ have 2014 Moto X with Motorola's Turbo Power Supply, in fact because Moto X has such a weak battery, I bought few chargers and I'm wondering if I can re-use them for new Nexus phone as well, I'd need to get USB type C cable of course, but as charger itself is that Okay to use?
yes. just get a good quality cable. Theres a couple of threads in the accessory forum that are discussing which ones are good.
yes. i like this cable -
USB 2.0 USB-C Male to USB-A Male Cable, 3ft - #13009 - Monoprice.com

Moto G5 Plus Accessory Question

Hi,
Just wanted to check if the cable which comes with the phone has any kind of branding? The cable I got is black color without any Moto branding or Rapid charging written on it.
Can someone confirm?
The charger which I got has a moto's M logo in the middle it's same as the moto g3 turbo charger but with better polishing and with usb port and cable saperated

Ticwatch Pro: Adding either solar or qi charging

I've had the Ticwatch Pro for a few months now and the only thing missing is some way of wireless charging....
I was thinking, since there's a sort of bump underneath it, where the heartrate monitor lies, and knowing where the speaker grill is, there surely must be a way to add a 3d printed device with some small magnets that can act as a holder for a qi coil...
Alternatively, there must be a way to add a a watchstrap with some solar cells (even if it's DIY) with the input to the pogo pin connectors under the watch itself...
Along that second idea, I saw these cells:
https://www.amazon.com/Powerfilm-Flexible-Solar-Panel-MP3-25/dp/B002MF2XCO
Any thoughts?
Ciao
Did you done some steps forward on this idea ?
Nope... still looking....
Good luck !!
I am waiting for my nw TICWATCH pro ... just now bought
I still haven't found anything but I can't believe it's that difficult (at least in my mind)
I just had a vision... I have a semi broken (aesthetics mainly I believe) Moto 360 1st edition which has a charging Qi coil inside it. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIVJb5Q_IHg)
Any idea if I can just rip it out of the Moto and somehow solder it into the Ticwatch? Both devices out of warranty by now anyways....
