At the moment I'm just starting to write this guide. My English is bad , so please help me: write down the mistakes I made and how to fix them. :highfive:
Software

Drivers for ADB/Fastboot

Remember! With firmware you will lose all your data!
Installing
1. Unpack adb.zip and flash.zip to C:\Android
2. Unpack your shoosen firmware to C:\Android
3. Open developer options and turn on "OEM unlocking"
4. Power off smartphone,press "+" and "power"
5. Connect smartphone to PC and install drivers
6. Open cmd and write "cd C:\Android"
7. Next "fastboot oem unlock" and accept on display of smartphone
8. After reboot power off smartphone and press "+" and "power"
9. Write "fastboot flashing unlock_critical" and accept on display of smartphone
10. Open flash.bat in C:\Android and press "enter"
11. Wait when flashing finish and disconnect smartphone
12. After flash finishing write "fastboot flashing lock_critical" and wait reboot
13. Next boot to fastboot and write "fastboot oem lock" and wait reboot

I'm trying to use this on my swift 2 (Oreo) I get a lot of errors when I run flash.bat.

Zuk Z1 not boots after update Cyanogen 13 nightly to snap
I downloaded Cyanogen 13 snap version moved to cm update folder. And from developer menu i activated flash recovery during update. but usb debugging was off. From update menu i clicked snap and install. Now phone not boots. Tried Volume - & Power, Volume + & Power none of them not works. Phone screen blinks every 3 secound.
C:\WINDOWS\system32>adb devices
List of devices attached
24cc9ceb unauthorized
C:\WINDOWS\system32>adb reboot bootloader
error: device unauthorized.
This adbd's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set; try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.
What can i do ?
you cant't upgrade from nightly to snap it was write in the release note you have to wipe and after flash the snap

Phone not boots... deleting adbkey will not help
yes, it dosn't boot because there nothings to boot. upgreading from nightly to snap you have corupt system and recovery partition, you have to turn off your zuck and turn it on putting it in fastboot mode; wipe recovery partition and flash twrp, after that start the recovery twrp and from twrp wipe system and data partition and flash the snap zip in the system partition and reboot

if all this things dosen't work last chance is install ZUI on your phone and when you have a working zui install COS or CM
for do that you have to:
0. Download the ZUI Full ROM file from here and extract to your computer. Here is the link https://mega.nz/#!fYYh0QDA!nYf0vvXpz...__vaHO_Weyg-YU
1. You need to install Qualcomm driver and ZUK Z1 driver to you PC, you can download it from this link https://mega.nz/#F!LcgDmRyC!4unf8UQqOBoZayAuv-D3Tg
2. The Qualcomm driver file shouldn't be signed so most of the windows operating system will not allow you to install, to install the Qualcomm driver you need to enable the unsigned driver installation.
If you are using windows 10 or windows 8. or 8.1 you can enable in this way. (go to the power option from the start menu hold the shift key from the keyboard and select restart option) for more information you can see this link http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-...igned-drivers/
If you are using windows 7 you can disable the driver signature verification from the boot menu. (when you see your computer motherboard name or pc logo just type F8 so there you can choose the option disable driver verification)
3. If you install the driver files successfully then you need to download and install the QFIL tool you can download the file from this link https://mega.nz/#!qIx0ybKC!YfeWZMHTF...8rEqDr5rEOYUc4
4.start QFIL from the QPST folder
5.Click browse on the programmer path row and select prog_emmc_firehose_8974.mbn from the directory where you unzipped the QPST ZUI ROM
and then click browse on the search path row and select the xml file + the other patch file which comes after it.
6. When thats done, make sure phone is off and then hold vol+ while you are inserting usb cable into phone and QFIL should then detect phone,
you may need to select port in the QFIL program and be quick with it, took me a few tries before I got it right so just take out the cable
and turn off and try again if you fail to make them connect.
Not only you need to select comport, you also need to press the download button aswell as soon as possible or else phone will continue booting as normal.
7.If everything went well then you should have ZUI loaded onto your phone and you are met with Chinese language as default.
On the first screen you are met with, just press the button in the bottom (on screen), then press cogwheel (which is the settings),
scroll down to yet another cogwheel in here which should be below a lock icon, then press second option in here and then the top option
to change language to english incase you cant make out the chinese and you should be good to go

how do you update over fastboot ?? don't we need stock recovery for that ?
no, you need to first install (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48915118#post48915118)
Now turn off your phone and hold volume up at the same time you press the power button (with the usb cable in)
To check if the device is detected, run cmd and run "fastboot", lots of text should appear if nothing does reinstall or reboot. To check for devices do "fastboot devices"
---------- Post added at 02:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:43 PM ----------
this is for recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
(recovery needs to be in your username drive (Windows 7-10 for example for me it is C:\users\gaming)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-how-to-unlock-bootloader-stay-t3461165 flash the file in TWRP and continue to unlock - you may need to flash CM again when you all done, but if you have TWRP then unlocking should be easy
@tabletalker7 i do have twrp and i did follow those steps but when i am in bootloader and i type fastboot oem unlock i get nothing
i did try that and i have twrp, but when i go to bootloader and i type fastboot oem unlock i get nothing
ok did you try http://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/rom-guide-updates-to-stock-files-via-t3469484 you can flash the correct stock rom file in TWRP
Thanks man i will see if it works
thankfully it did, but i am still unable to unlock, its stuck on waiting for devices
waiting on devices? Did you reinstall TWRP and then flash the D
rakenFX file?
no in adb command window i am unable to unlock it
the fastboot oem unlock command
http://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-how-to-unlock-bootloader-stay-t3461165 post one for us version post 100 for EU version - you have to flash a file in TWRP before you can unlock
could you help me with step 6 fbop_lock.img
US version or EU version?
us
ok - before you go to TWRP ensure that the phone is in USB debugging mode and Enable OEM unlock is on
yup done
after that?
boot to TWRP, then plug into PC. Open a command prompt and type "adb devices". You should see the serial number of your device and recovery as it's state
---------- Post added at 10:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:47 PM ----------
When you have that type "adb shell dd if= /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/fbop of=/sdcard/fbop_lock.img" You can even copy from this and paste it in the command prompt
i did that, but after that step 6 idk what that is
When it is done with all that type "adb pull /sdcard/fbop_lock.img"

Flash Error

I try to flash this version "twrp-3.1.0-0-vtr.img" on my "P10 plus" (Model VKY-L09), through the 3 steps :
1. Enter fastboot mode on unlocked device
2. flash recovery using the following command: fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.0-0-vtr.img
3. reboot to recovery!
But when i try to boot mainy times into recovery by holding "vol+ & power button" it show unsafe screen each time i do it and it pass to Huawei eRecovery!!
I choose another method through prompt commands via this commnad "fastboot boot twrp-3.1.0-0-vtr.img", then an error message appear "command remote not allowed".
Tell me Guys if there another efficient method to root P10 plus.
thank you

Xiaomi noob. Want to root. Need help to avoid breaking the phone

Hello everyone
I got my Mi 9T three weeks ago and I basically haven't used it because I couldn't transfer my backups so Im merely looking to root and install Titanium. The binding period for unlocking the bootloader should end tomorrow and I have a few question to avoid getting stuck on bootloop or break the phone
My device is Global 64gb MIUI 10.3.7.0 and update 10.3.12 is available
1. Which recovery do you recommend to flash on my device/version/MIUI release? Xiaomi-Miui.gr or 4PDA
2. Can I update MIUI and Flash recovery with no issues or are there any issues regarding MIUI version?
3. Do I flash using basic ADB method (phone on fastboot mode, "fastboot flash recovery ***" command") or is there anything I'm missing?
PS/ I did my research so Im aware of basic info
Thanks in advance
You should be fine doing that. I installed the Greek TWRP as well on my Mi 9T with MIUI Global version 10.3.12. Use the latest version available as it has more fixes and support for data encryption/decryption (latest version 3.3.1_12-08-19 as of today: http://www.mediafire.com/file/yuhi6pl5qtjr1nu/twrp_davinci_3.3.1_12-08-19_blue_Ss_new.img/file ).
After flashing TWRP you should format 'Data' first and flash Magisk to prevent the MIUI Global ROM from re-flashing the stock recovery. If you install the MIUI EU ROM or any other custom ROM this is not necessary though.
The bootloop issue is mostly related to the 'Anti-rollback' feature in the MIUI official ROMs. You can check the status by executing 'fastboot getvar anti'. If the result is empty or 1 you can flash whatever you want, but if it's more than 1 you should stick to flashing a MIUI ROM that is the same or higher version than it is now unless you can verify the 'anti' version in that particular ROM is equal or lower than the value in your phone.
You can follow the below video to root the device

Thank you so much. Your answer clarified a lot of Xiaomi things I was wondering about.
I successfully flashed TWRP. I intended to install MIUI 10.3.12 after unlocking bootloader (im on 10.3.7) but I forgot and flashed TWRP directly. I remembered before flashing Magisk tho. Is the window for updating to 10.3.12 is closed by flashing TWRP?
Also, have you tested EU rom? Should I flash it or stick with stock?
Oh. I got value of 1 after executing "fastboot getvar anti" command
boot.img = ROM

In this video at 5:46 the guy is flashing boot.img as well not just recovery.
In other post I did not see that people were flashing boot.img, is this the firmware? And if its the ROM, is it necessary if I want just root the device or I can stay at stock ROM?
