Currently using latest Los with 311 sync.
I want to install aex5.7 but 309 firmware is must for that. Please help.

If you didn't change Recovery - shouldn't be a problem. I've done this with previous updates before.

no it isn't. your bootloader will remain unlocked.

Im on .183 firmware but my recovery is on .164 (I just came back from CM13 but things are not going good at the rom so I flashed latest firmware but I cant find .183 recovery)
I tried updating into .184 update (latest) but error come by.
Can someone provide me a .183 recovery image? Or can somebody teach me how to flash the update using out-dated recovery.

Go to the pre-rooted rom thread in developement. You can download the boot, droidboot and recovery images as well as the pre-rooted roms. Flash with fastboot.
Just download what you need, if you have an old recovery you will probably need to flash all three files above...

it can take months to roll out on your country. i used firmwarefinder to flash it and everything went fine, batterylife is same as in emui 4.1.2, statusbar is beter for me, i can get my 3rd party vpn icon to statusbar as tile. L21 is european model and theres no other "regions" than eu for L21. theres limited rollout times because if everybody starts downloading firmware same time their server would slow down alot. use firmwarefinder proxy method, send to updater and turn proxy off and download it like normal update from "real" ota finder. flashing took about 10 minutes way faster than B100 -> B132. no data loss, only 1 new bloatware app that i was able to uninstall without root. only thing thats annoying is avast antivirus which came with emui 5, i only use malwarebytes.

thats first beta, you should be able to use firmware finder proxy method for new B351 without problems. if it doesnt work install B100, update to B132 then to B351....

Yes, but only first fullOTA-MF-PV version - upgrade from MM to Nougat. (for C432 B370/371 ).
Its impossible update to following OTA versions via TWRP or fastboot.

Not recommended, try Firmware Finder.

It's because the ROM you're using, is fw 318 synced. Flash fw 318 and you'll get back fp.
Can you update the latest firmware I'm currently on miui port and fingerprint is no where I can see!
I have just bought this device, it's 3gb32gb and i wanted to update it to stock pie (i think it's available, right? )

Build number is OPM1.WW_Phone-15.2016.1805.318-20180712
Downloaded the latest firmware, version WW-16.2017.1906.056, but update failed with message "update failed (3)"
Do I need to install 340 or some other update first? Any help is appreciated.

Did you skip checking for updates during initial setup of the phone ? Anyway, if you want to take the OTA route, you will have to go sequentially

There was no OTA update at all. I ended up downloading 340 update as well, it worked, and then updated to Android 9.0 with the latest one. Too much work.
