just flash img on TWRP recovery

so why you need lazy flasher in the first place?
btw is there any compatiblity issue by using Treble recovery for non-Treble Rom? Since everyone recomend to use non-Treble Recovery Instead to use non-Treble rom....

Its not my thread well as u are going to flash miui official rom not a custom rom, so if u'll boot up the rom without flashing magisk or lazy flasher then the twrp recovery will be replaced by stock miui recovery!

No. but you need to back up your internal because you need to format, once done flash miui 10 beta and dont reboot flash lazy flasher so you will maintain your TWRP recovery. Then flash twrp treble image to bypass the encrypt password and you can access your internal storage. Enjoy:highfive:

Didn't work
Steps taken:
1. twrp -> install -> install image -> flashed vince_treble_twrp-jay-port-v3.img
2. back -> install -> install zip -> flashed lazyflasher -> reboot system

Latest orange fox already decrypts MIUI 10 data partition!
Ryt now i m using dotos.. So can i flash this directly in TWRP.. And i dont care abt twrp recovery and all.. And after flash this.. M i able to get OTA of Miui..???

M using this couple of days.. Battery life is ok.. And i didn't face any issue abt screen.. But its bit laggy for me sometimes.. Whn browsing and some random stuff.. But its not that bad mate.. U should try once..

a little bit laggy on recent app tray but not all the time. for me everything is working fine, so smooth and snappy.

I have bought the new S5 upgraded to marshmallow firmware that released yesterday.However, none of the tools are working for root....I tried to flash the twrp using odin first it didn't work and it gave the error as seandroid enforcing....and not booting...to recovery volume up+home+powerkey after removing the battery immediately...
But the phone boots up normally to recovery...I broke the actual recovery and not able to root as I can't get the recovery to work....
I did use ODIN for stock lollipop to marhmallow and also for the TWRP recovery...please confirm if any issue is there with the newer knox that is blocking the rooting for these devices... need help
Don't start yet flashing thing for 6.0.1 of G900H.. Let's wait official things from xda such as recovery, root..

My mistake is that I have flashed cf auto root before and it seems that it breaks something and using an old version of supersu.

Except that I've noticed a lot of stutters here and there, and according to my benchmark the score has dropped compared to Android 5.0. I've tried xposed but for now I'm just rooted because I've encountered some lag when I'm booting my device (stucks in the lockscreen with a black background for like 10 seconds or so.)

I'm noticing today .. possibly after the latest nightly that my home button isn't 'working' ... Finger print is fine. But it's not working as a home button. If I hit it to go home, I get vibration feedback, but does nothing. I'll try to get a log of this and post but it's just so strange. May have something messed up in the configuration settings too.. I'll dig around and update if I find a user-error. (Did I post this in the wrong place?)

Hello there... Wanna try out this ROM.. I'm coming from Resurrection Remix MM ROM.. I've used AICP LP b4.. And excited to try this out.. Wanted to know if I'm supposed to flash any modem b4 installing this ROM..? I had flashed a modem for using RR ROM(From LP to MM.. ). So am I supposed to flash again any other modem..? And can I use normal TWRP(using version 3+) or is it necessary to use Hybrid TWRP..?

Hi,
You are on RR MM you don't need to flash modem, personaly i use hybrid TWRP linked on post below becouse sometimes i go to OOS 3.0.2 or H2OS 1.4 and return to AICP, like this i know that i have no problems with TWRP and i can flash any MM ROM.

EDIT: I used Flash ZIP or OTA (the other option didn't worked), phone restarted everything is the same and stable (so I suppose it worked.
But can anyone give some detailed info about how to flash this? There are multiple options in flashfire, maybe a vide on youtube so everyone can see it?

Yes it works, but I haven't installed a custom recovery yet. No need for as long as there is no good custom rom in my opinion. I'm actually really hoping developers can cook a nice working android 7 rom in the coming weeks.

Yes, there will be a custom ROM, only a matter of time, take a look CM14 bar. But I still want to know whether the recovery can be used?

What?! No on flyme latest firmware. I HAVE DOWNLOADED the recovery it is ready but I don't now a way to check for 100% if it had worked so I don't want to flash it until there is a video or good custom rom. I don't have the cash to take a risk of brick in my phone

I've the same problem when i tried the 0118 version of resurrection remix. Restored my miui backup from twrp and it works but couldn't use wifi on RR with the same mac address. Tried to wipe, tried without gapps it didn't work

The true way to do it is,before flashing any custom ROM, backup your EFS partition via TWRP. If the wifi mac problem occurs,simply restore the EFS partition.

It usually happens due to an improper format, either by the user itself or because of the TWRP used or because some fault from the ROM. Since so many users are experiencing this and not every user is experiencing this after flashing ROMs, it maybe because of the TWRP you guys used. I am guessing there are more than one TWRP available for this device?
EDIT: Flashing via MI Flash tool is the best way to get back your EFS(if you lost it). Recovery ROMs won't fix it.

i'm using TWRP 3.0.2.0 ; normally it should be the best to use with redmi 3S...
does the EFS partition managing also the SIM network ? could solve some bugs i have with custom rom...

I meant, I remember seeing multiple TWRP 3.0.2.0 for Redmi 3S. Like one was from chinese forum,other from 4pda,etc.
And no,restoring EFS will not solve any SIM network related problems.

i can't remember from where i download it, but it is one of the first "working" TWRP (from october or november...)

I would recommend the Cofface one. Read the comments on the cofface thread,if you face any issues related to the language settings.

ok, will try a new fastboot flash with the flashing tool ;
make a backup of original EFS partition (just in case) ;
install cofface's TWRP ;
and report if it is working fine in a few days, thanks
(and also not installing every rom i found, just the one in xda with good feedbacks... :silly: )

fastboot flash didn't make it...
i had to flash MIUI in EDL mode with the miuiflashtool
but the best is to look at the fedosis's lineage rom page, in his gdrive there is a fix for that bug
by the way his rom is the best for me, i'm on it since 2 weeks and it is almost perfect
Yesterday I got this problem too. I Can't back to miui (bootloop), every custom ROM I try but nothing changes , all method I tried, wipe all (dalvik,cache,data,system,internalstorage) and still error ..
Until I try to repair system and it works

So i have been using custom roms on the past 3 galaxy's, and i had custom rom on my galaxy s8 3 days ago.
Okay, the problem i have. I wanted to move from 4.2 - CarHDRom to 5.0 but when i installed the rom at full wipe. After install i reboot and it just gets stuck.
I then go to twrp and wipe again to install the 5.0 again. Still the same, stuck at boot.
I then go get Omega rom and install, stuck again.
I then go back to 4.2 and it's stuck again.
Restore to stock rom using smart swtich, i then go to install Twrp again and try to install the rom.
Stuck again.
I then late at night tried again, again and just let it be so it could boot. Maybe it was me that didn't give it time.
At 01:20 at the night i set it to reboot and just let it be. I just woke up 6 hours later and it's still on the boot logo.
I see that the rom is AQG5, and i used Odin to flash new bootloader but that just made me unable to boot into Twrp and then i restore to stock. Use odin to flash bootloader first then twrp. And still stuck at boot.
Now i am back at stock rom, but want to use a custom again..
What am i doing wrong, i have been working with custom roms for 3 years plus, bricked many of my phones but i unbricked them again. But right now i am lost on what to do

You need to flash the last Bottloader and Modem with TWRP
You can find it on XDA.

Please listen To me. You need to have the good bootloader TWRP and Modem...
I have already the same problems with Google Edition Rom. And I flash the last version of them.

If you download the last bootloader and Modem and update TWRP there is non reason that the phone not want to boot..
Have you try rom reinstall the stock firmware et retry from the beginning ?

I have tried reinstalling from stock firmware 5 times today now
Where did you download the last bootloader and modem from ?
