I tried. It again boots and stucks at mi logo and not booting into recovery

Wait bro it take 20 mins to bootup

Try to boot into fastboot mode. Power on your phone when you see mi logo press vol down + power button for 10 sec it should boot into fastboot i have faced similar issues before. If it boots into fastboot either flash fastboot rom or flash twrp recovery. Then flash the miui rom via twrp also please disable dm-verify or flash lazy flasher before booting you are facing bootloop as you might have flashed stock miui without disabling dm-verify.
If you dont find disable dm-verify option in your version twrp use this https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120756570

As you mentioned I can boot to fastboot then flashed twrp but still no use. Not able to boot into twrp

Since you can boot into fastboot mode do the following
1. Flash twrp recovery " fastboot flash recovery <recovery-name>.img"
2. Boot into twrp from fastboot using "fastboot boot <recovery-name>.img"
Without quotes

Did you try from fastboot
fastboot boot twrp-3-x-x-x-land.img
Replace x with the version you have

Hold vol down + power. Enter bootloader mode. Flash twrp via pc. Flash lazyflasher. Done.

Don't reboot or disconnect your phone got to fastboot first flash the recovery using fastboot commands then use the fastboot commands to boot into recovery. If it still does not works you should try flashing miui fastboot rom using fastboot tool. And also please move this thread to discussion section

You are using wrong command.. Command is " fastboot flash recovery (filename).img " and in your case it must be : 'fastboot flash recovery twrp.img'
I too had the same problem and I fixed it by Flashing CMW Recovery through Minimal ADB and Fastboot

[SOLVED] Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime cannot boot to TWRP

I have a Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime/Pro and my problem is that I cannot boot into recovery using the Power+Volume Up method. When I do so, my phone gets stuck at the Mi boot logo. However, I can boot into recovery when I hold Power+Volume Down (I enter fastboot mode), then I connect my phone to my PC and I use the commands:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
I don't know if it's normal that my phone restarts automatically and boots into recovery when I hit enter with the last command.
I want to be able to get into recovery using the Power+Volume Up technique. Also, I heard that if I hold the Volume Up key when I reboot from fastboot will open a window with an option to disable stock recovery replacement. This also doesn't work and gets me to the stuck screen with the Mi boot logo.
Is there anything I can do to open TWRP using the Power+Volume Up method?

Switch off the phone and wait for 10sec. After that hold together Volume Up + Volume Down + Power and wait (i guess 5-15sec) until you see recovery.

Hello,
thanks for your response. I don't know if you actually read my post, but my phone reboots after the command
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
and then it directly boots into TWRP. So getting into TWRP isn't that much of a problem here. I wanted to get into recovery without a PC and without using any of these commands.
Also, please try to describe the procedure more precisely next time because typing out just one command that isn't even surrounded in
Code:
quotes...
Thank you.

Hello,
thank you for your answer. One thing I forgot to mention is that I use a custom OS too (MoKee ROM) with Android 6.0.1. Although this has an option for 'Advanced reboot' where you can reboot to recovery, this option always got me to the Mi boot logo and stays stuck there.
Also, I already fixed this problem by holding Power+Volume Up+Volume Down at the same time.
Best regards,
DJsushi

Back to official REC after flash TWRP 3.1.1 on RedMI 3S with MIUI 9.7.11.23 DEV

Dear Community,
I tried to flash TWRP 3.1.1 for Oreo rom with my Red Mi 3S. And I found some thing strange.
3S is flashed to MIUI 9.7.11.23 DEV. And BL is unlocked via XiaoMi's MiFlash_Unlock.
In Developer settings, OEM unlock is ON, and Lock status is unlocked.
Then I tried fastboot on my Mac to flash TWRP 3.1.1 in the Xperience Oreo ROM thread.
In the console after "fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.1.1-0-unnoficial-oreo-v2-land.img", result showed OKAY. However, after a reboot, holding Volume+ and Power or "adb reboot recovery" will bring me to XiaoMi Recovery instead of TWRP.
I tried "fastboot boot TWRP-3.1.1-0-unnoficial-oreo-v2-land.img", and it works fine.
Anyone could help me to figure out why flash TWRP could not be done successfully?
Thanks much.

Have you tried rebooting the phone in recovery via the key combination( press all 3 buttons power+ vol up+ vol down and when you get vibration release power button and vol down but not vol up because i have faced similar issues while pressing vol up and power ) as far as i know after flashing a custom recovery you need to give the command " fastboot boot recovery.img" where recovery should be replaced by the file name of your recovery and adb reboot recovery is not working may be due to some other reasons but dont worry flash the twrp recovery via fastboot and then reboot using the above command

Unable to boot into NFound's TWRP 3.2.1-8 after flashing old bootstack by accident

I messed up and accidentally flashed the old oreo B32-based bootstack to use Candy ROM using NFound's TWRP 3.2.1-8 which was specifically made for the newer b12-based bootstack. Now I can't boot into TWRP at all but the phone still works just fine for day-to-day use. I tried to flash NFound's TWRP 3.2.1-7 via fastboot but after entering "adb reboot bootloader" command, I got stuck on the ZTE logo screen and was unable to proceed into the bootloader menu to continue with the TWRP reflashing process. I am able to reboot back into the ROM by holding down the power button for 10 seconds but I would really like to be able to get my TWRP working again.
I love NFound's work and I brought this problem onto myself by accident but any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated!
Use EDL to go back to stock and flash it again......
you're fine because you can boot into your ROM. Reboot to EDL and use EDL Tool to flash recovery of choice.
Sorry guys, but I couldn't boot into EDL mode either. I tried different button combinations (power + vol down, power + vol up + vol down), the EDL tool, command lines, etc but none of them could get the phone to boot into fastboot nor EDL. It always just reboots back into the ROM.

Do you have root?? If you do, I recommend actually just using flashify app to flash the correct 3.2.1-7 TWRP to recovery. No need to mess with EDL

Yea I tried that as well but the phone just reboots back into the ROM instead of going into edl. Tried using a terminal app on the phone to run "reboot edl" as well but got the same result.

Sorry mate still no luck haha and I just got a new phone as well. But my ZTE still works perfectly fine, just no way to boot into recovery, bootloader, or edl mode. The only thing I haven't tried is using an edl cable but I don't have access to those at the moment. If you have the same problem as me, you might wanna give the edl cable a try if all else fails.
i flashed Oreo Rom and then flash Twrp 3.2.1.8. after restart i select that phone should boot into recovery. but phone led blinks and then phone goes off. I want to boot into recovery?
