Hey all,
while trying to upgrade my device htc 820 dual sim which has android 4.4.4 .. i pushed a boot.img file that cause no OS boot .. just fastboot screen with it's choices (like HBoot, Power Down, etc ...)
any one can help me with working/right boot.img file ??

MID : OPFJ11000

You need to find RUU with cid 701 and rename it to OPFJ11000.zip and put it on the root of your external SD card then boot into HBOOT ( i.e. bootloader ). If the cid of the RUU you inserted is correct with your device, then HBOOT will flash the zip automatically.

P's1 I wont carry responsibility if you break your device when carrying out mu guide.
P's2 You may want to try out the RUU mode method if the above one fails. Instructions can be found by search on xda htc devices forums ( Sorry I dont know what the proccedures are since I didnt really experienced it before ).

HTC China's firmware is very rare on this forum. AFAIK, there aren't any htc 701 firmware on this forum yet. What you may do is to find a retail shop to S-OFF your phone and then universal dual sim RUU can be flashed onto your device. XTC2Clip is the only known tool that can S-OFF our device, but it costs money. Otherwise, it may be infinite waiting here.

He push KK 4.4.4 and i checked update and received 199MB then 890MB that upgraded the phone to LP and working well in calls, wifi, bluetooth, etc ...
there is two problem
1. phone model become 820t not 820
2. no google play, gmail, google music, etc .. just a chines store

The one you flashed is a Chinese RUU which Google is blocked from the country. You may need to manually flash gapps or install another non-Chinese rom.
P's: Dont even think of downloading apps in the Chinese app store. The apps inside are modified by the Chinese Gov so to let them have a greater surveillance over the people who are using the phone.

CID-11111111 is called a "super-cid", which imply that all RUU of the same device ( no. of sim need to be exact ) model can be flashed to the device with super-cid.
Hi guys, I need your help - i crashed my system and my twrp backup is corrupted.
I don't want to go for CleanSlate or any other custom ROM, so I was looking for the stock firmware or RUU or at least system backup for European version of M9+ htc_hiau_ml_tuhl with S-ON.
Unfortunately i was unsuccessful for my OS version 1.90.401.3 with CID_J15.
I found a lot of stuff for Taiwanese version, but not European.
If somebody has RUU and Firmware for 1.90.401.3 version or can do a backup of the system in system.emmc.win and recovery.img for 1.90.401.3 files. It will be highly appreciated as I'm going to install new OTA on it.

I found this link before and tried this OTA, but it updates from 1.86.401.7 to 1.90.401.3.... the recovery in that OTA does not work...

I managed to fix my issue, but still if you would be able to download this file and put it at mega.nz or send it to me, so i can share it with everyone.
As there is no topic with RUU and other useful threads for the European version of M9+, i will edit and collect everything useful to add it in to the header, so other users can use it as well.

Register on http://www.gsm-file.com and download this RUU, it is the working one and it goes with CID_32, i had the same system parameters - Clean Slate 1.2.3 Europe, S-ON, OS 1.90.41.3 and i successfully installed it:

This RUU fixed all my issues and i managed to uprade my HTC One M9+ to Android 6.0, OS 2.27.401.1

I got the Marshmallow update, but then stupidly flashed cleanslate 1.2.3 because my device went into bootloop. Now I don't have a recovery file nor do I have access to my network. I have the Taiwanese set. Any help that you could provide?

did you try running a RUU file of your software version or higher..maybe that will solve it as it has all the components in it.
and if u can download and upload this somewhere then it would be a huge help. i want to update to marshmallow but cant because my phone is not stock.
