Huawei P9 lite bootloop - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi,
I am new to XDA, and I have an issue with my P9 lite VNS-L31 single sim
I just wanted to root it,
I unlocked the bootloader, install recovery and install root package via recovery
The problems begun when i tried to enter developer options, security settings, fingerprint settings and lock screen settings, everytime i click that button, THEY CRASH,I have a branded version, so I wanted to unistall some brand bloatware
(not system apps) everytime i uninstall an app, it soft reboots itself and app does not get uninstalled, so i tried to flash elite rom
-Installed elite TWRP
-Format Data
-Wipe data
-Flashed the zip file
no success, bootloop
tried to use the 7Slevin Debrand method to get back to stock rom but when in wrote "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" and rebooted to recovery… or at least tried to boot into recovery because everytime i try entering recovery, it gets stuck on "Your device is booting now…", so it was there that I understood i was doomed, NO RECOVERY NO FASTBOOT an the Elite rom started looping, while booting it forcereboots itself into eRecovery
Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance

Help twrp

I have a Huawei P9 Lite and i have installed twrp and android 7.0 on it. Now I want to install Google assistant, but when i try to boot in twrp recovery (volume down + power b) it shows me the screen where it says ''Installing update'' and then freezes at 5 % so i have to hold my power button to power off the phone.
If I dont try to run in the twrp, phone works just fine.
I apologize for my bad english.
Hi there,
I will move your thread in the correct forum dedicated to Huawei P9 Lite for more relevant answers.
Good luck
Bump..
Just to state that I am in the same boat here; as I am facing the same issue. Here's what happened in my case (using a guide found here at XDA-Developers):
-- unlocked the bootloader
-- booted to bootloader and flashed twrp
-- used adb to reboot to recovery (adb reboot recovery)
-- used twrp recovery to flash nougat update (two zip files, one ~1300mb and second ~680mb)
-- had some errors that were expected, the guide said ignore them and reboot after both zips have been flashed.
-- the flash overall was successful as the phone booted in emui 5 with android nougat. However, there was no virtual keyboard; so decided to do a factory reset
-- rebooted to recovery, but this time, the phone booted to huawei erecovery
-- did a factory reset, but to no avail
-- now, i can't boot into twrp to flash anything else. booting into bootloader and using fastload to flash recovery image is successful, but the phone does not boot to twrp recovery; remain stuck on "your phone is booting up" (or something similar).
My phone is not bricked, as basic telephony, wifi and built-in apps are working fine. But, without a keyboard, its pretty useless for everyday use. Any help in this matter will be appreciated.

This seems helpful; but how can I flash recovery if I can't boot to fastboot?
[Update] Oh, got to fastboot, trying the suggested recovery now.
Fixed
Fixed using the suggestion above. Thanks.

P9 Lite softbricked

Hey guys!
My Hardware:
Huawei VNS-L21
Windows PC
I've flashed the oeminfo of a Huawei VNS-L31 on my VNS-L21 (followed this guide: http://www.htcmania.com/showpost.php?p=23861935&postcount=2) and after that, I've installed B100 rom via DLOAD-Method. Everything worked fine. Then I wantet to upgrade to Nougat (B336), so I downloaded the ROM and the L31 Data (because I've previously flashed the oeminfo of a VNS-L31, mentioned before). I've done that in the Revolution recovery b. 8. Flashing the main system worked fine, but flashing the data failed. I don't know why (maybe I didn't have enugh patience) but I rebootet anyway. Now I have the problem that I can neither boot to the system nor boot to recovery. However, I am able to access fastboot and I am able to flash recovery, system, cust and boot. I've tried flashing the B336 rom via fastboot (flashing system.img, boot.img, recovery and recovery2 from the extracted firmware and cust.img from the extracted data folder), but I'm still not able to boot. My phone is stuck in the "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" screen as seen in the attachment. I've tried meticulu's twrp and revolution recovery, they also fail to boot (I also get to the "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" screen.)
Hopefully you can help me.
Best regards,
- 4240 Benny

Doesn't work, I've tried that several times
Try to get a recovery running.
So try to flash different recoveries (Meticulus TWRP or Revolution Recovery) with fastboot (fastboot flash recovery *.img)
Flashing N recovery like this *should* work.
Report back then for next steps.

I've tried Revolution recovery and meticulu's TWRP, both don't seem to work. When I try to boot to recovery I do get the "Your device has been unlocked.." screen...

P9 Lite FRP Lock - How to unlock

All,
I had flashed Elite ROM v4 and it was successful except messing up on MagiskSu where one application still detected the phone is rooted. To solve the problem, decided to flash it again without realizing OEM lock is off - forgotten to activate before start flash. Now, after wipe everything using TWRP,reboot to continue the flashing procedure, the phone is unable to boot into TWRP recovery and only able to boot to stock recovery and fastboot. Unfortunately the FRP is lock and I could not not flash TWRP again. Any advice?

Help, fastboot bootloop

A little while ago I downgraded my phone. Today I tried to install magisk with a custom rom and TWRP. It didn't work now when I boot my phone it gets into fastboot I have tried formatting it with TWRP and reinstalling the rom but it doesn't fix it. Are there any solutions (downloading to stock via erecovery doesn't work but I can easily open the erecovery menu.
Fastboot says
Android reboot reason:
bootloader 1
no
NA
reboot_enter_fastboot_common_func
I think there is something wrong with the vendor
Solution:I used the dload trick to download stock firmware
Problem 2:I reinstalled TWRP with a custom rom now my phone keeps restarting and not opening the custom rom.
try this rom

PINLOCK BUGGED

Need help
Device : HONOR 8 lite
I just installed elite rom by hassan mirza yesterday but at the night the Pin lock just got bugged, Any pin is not working, I opened TWRP so i can delte lock but it was unable to mount/write on internal storage, I decided to flash orange fox using twrp but when i rebooted into recovery after flashing it did not work, It got into a boot loop, the phone was still able to turn on but the pin was bugged it was showing incorrect, Soo i deciced to flash a new twrp using fastboot but i got an error REMOTE COMMAND NOT ALLOWED, which was most probably due to locked frp, Bootloader is unlocked but frp locked, i also tried to flash stock recovery but same errror, everything is F****ed up, I decided to install stock usign dload but was unable to find every link is broken, I fount one which was for Huawei p8 lite which is quite same but i was unable to flash using d load it says software not installed, i tried everything, I guess if I unlock frp everything can be fixed, is there any way to remove it, I do have the accesss to google accounts, Secondly another method would be resetting so pin gets removed but when there is no recovery and no access to phone setting, i tried google ADM but it simple tries to boot into recovery, the third can be removing pin if there is any way in fastboot mode, IDK what to do, I can't get a new phone. Want this back ,Maybe there is some PIN for this elite rom which can be used when it is bugged
