Is there any root or rebrabd option for CPNW09C100 - Huawei Mediapad M3 Questions & Answers

Hi everybody,
I recently bought MediaPad M3 from Amazon.
I couldn't find anything related to my build number in this forum. My question are:
Is there any way to obtain root from TWRP (greatslon mod) thread, without bricking my device? And if not
Is there any way I can rebrand the device and after that obtain root?
I'm attaching screens from firmware finder.

Hi !
I have a CPN-AL00
I found on the net that CPN-AL00, CPN-L09 and CPN-W09
are similar devices about firmware.
On my CPN-AL00 (Chinese version) I make successfully unlock bootloader and root.
1- Unlocking bootloader devices is very simple but you must have the booloader unlock code,
I take mine directly from Huawei, you can search about this, there' s a lot of info.
2- I try with success rooting with Magisk with generic procedure described for installation.
I believe that you can try on your device these points without any issue.
I not use TWRP at all, I don't know if a compatible version exist...
After that you can rebrand your device but you must have OEMINFO / Custom.bin files
for the version you want to.
I'm trying to debrand my version to CPN-L09,
but I cannot find on the net relative OEMINFO/Custom.bin files...
I hope these info help you.

P9 Lite debranding question.

Hi Devs, I have question to debranding VNS-L21.
I wanted to make everything from video using SRK Tool (by droidth) just using P9 choices (did nothing from oeminfo.img and custom.bin part).
All I did:
- Firstly rollbacked from 7.0 to 6.0 (went on 7.0 without debranding)
- Unlocked Bootloader
- Installed TWRP (as I said before from SRK Tool - P9 choice)
- Rooted
// Wanted to put screenshot here from "About phone" to present how it looks like but trust me - I have VNS-L21C900B161
And here is my question: If verlist.img of VNS-L21C432B161 don't have that name of version (I wanted to flash with changing build.prop parameter) so do I need to proceed changing build.prop parameter? Will it work, won't it get bricked? If so, how can I debrand my phone?
Additional infos:
- My branded compilation was VNS-L21C09B131.
- Then I got on the Android 7.0 using proxy.
- Why I want to debrand? Because of OTA Updates.
If you know the solution please reply! Sorry for my bad english too!
Cheers!

Rooting P8 lite 2017 with 7.0 Nougat

Hey there,
I'm sorry if this is a repeat question but I can't seem to track down a thread where it's described in detail how to root a P8 Lite 2017 running Nougat. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
I'm just looking to root it Not anything else.
Kind regards
Chris
@vimes1984
You can't root the device at the moment using the proper method because Huawei doesn't offer unlock codes anymore. I've read that this may be temporary.
The very first step in rooting our phone properly is by "unlocking the bootloader" and we can't do that without the unlock code.
The thread with the tutorials for rooting our device has been deleted because the owner bricked the device and ended the support.
That thread doesn't matter to me though since the instructions were not very clear, links were removed and I followed another tutorial for rooting the device for I get nowhere when following an incomplete thread.
Instead, I followed this, this or this one, searched for the appropriate files in P8 Lite (2017) threads and watched some YouTube tutorials.
These tutorials will only work if you have the unlock code.
There may be some unrecommended methods like one-click root apps or maybe using a trusted website for buying unlock codes, but I wouldn't recommend any of those and you can try them at your own risk.
Some might work or others might be just trying to steal your IMEI and other sensitive informations.
I don't even know if they are compatible or supports the device.

Huawei Nova 2i - Cannot locate firmware for this specific rendition - RNE-L02C759

Hi,
Admin, please move is this is not the correct place for this question.
I recently got this phone, I managed to unlock the Bootloader and flash TWRP, but that is about as far as I got in my dreams to update this phone to Oreo.
I just cannot find the firmware for this phone, not even just to flash the OEM recovery.img back onto the phone.
The build nr is RNE-L02C759B141. Huawei Nova 2i
I'm in New Zealand
I can get tons of RNE-L02 firmwares but nothing with the C759 variant?
Can anyone help explain to me how this works, is it posible to flash one of the other RNE-L02xxx variants and how do you do this. I've tried the dload sdcard upgrade, but it keeps failing.
Thanks in advance.
Have you tried the Firmware Finder utility?
Btw, you need a bootloader unlocking code at first. But it seems that Huawei has closed its official web page for these unlocking codes.

Google Services don't work - Huawei P9 Lite

Hello everyone, I have a problem with a Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L31 .
The Google Services don't work: when I open a Google app (i.e. Google Play) the Google Login screen appears and disappears quickly, so, I can't login to Google.
This phone runs Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.0, with serial number VNS-L31C900B170... about this SN I read that the problem is this version of the stock ROM that "blocks" the Google Services and can't update to Android Nougat.
I tried to unlock the bootloader by using DC-Unlocker (because the Huawei's official service for the bootloader code shutted down) but I had a problem with the credits payment, so I can't unlock the bootloader now. I had tried to install some firmwares that suggest Firmware Finder 9.5 with the software updater, but none of the suggested firmware had work.
So, in this thread I want to ask if there are a way to install a "normal" firmware (like the C432, that is the european firmware) without unlocking bootloader or unlock bootloader without using DC-unlocker.
I'm having the same problem, somebody can help us?

Guys I would like you could recover the full functionality of your device ...
but I wondered how you did to have that firmware ( global firmware/C900 ).
In order to solve those problems you need to know the model L31 / L21, single / dual SIM and firmware in use before you had C900 firmware, branded/unbranded included in which region you live, because it also depends on this. Answer me these infos...
I suggest you take a look at the UNIFIED HELP THREAD for aid.
Look at post #6 ...
I can try to help you, better ask or re-read before doing.
Happy Holidays

The program that the post suggests don't work: first of all, the program don't read the bootloader code and for this opens the old website for requesting the unlock code, that is disabled. So it's completely useless. Ah, the program doesn't recognize my device, after enabling usb debug, installed hisuite and enabled manufacture mode (adb recognised it, the program not). So, are you sure that the program is a crap?

Don't know what you're talking about.
Link i posted you talks about update via dload folder AKA three button method.
If you refer to DC-UNLOCKER app and still interested in unlock bootloader read this post,
i will suggest to read the entire thread, then decide.
In any case the device is yours and you can choose what's right for you...
Good luck

P10 lite debrand is not receiving OTA updates

Hello guys,
I have been following the forum for a long time but it is the first time that I need to consult you. Basically, I bought a p10 lite as a forklift. Except that I had ordered it nobrand but it arrived branded vodafone. I have done all the necessary procedures and now it is nobrand but it is still at the WAS-LX1AC432B182 version without the possibility of updating because it tells me that this is the last for this device even if it is not true.
Checking from HiSuite itself, it tells me you are "using the latest official version".
What can I do to unlock the updates?
