I have downloaded the Stock Firmware Package from official website. The extension of the file is ZIP. But Windows File Explorer, 7-Zip can't extract this file. It is not a compressed archive. How can I extract this?
it shows package is unknown or damaged. invalid .zip file report to asus on zentalk forum. itried winrar, 7zip & winzip but same error.

Hi all
I have a problem with unpacking the ROM file.
I've downloaded the file NL_11300_131_11200.exe and in the tutorial it says right click and unpack. Now I allready have Winrar but all I can choose is Add and Compress options no Unpack option.
Am I missing something?

If you don't succeed with WinRar, try WinZip or just execute the exe-file & search in your temp folders for the .nbf files. Don't close the program before you copied those files to a save place.

Yes i tried to search the file *.nbf and *.nb1 on my computer while the setup is still on but it can't find any files.
I have 2 hardisc and i've allso search on the other one but no results.
i haven't tried winzip yet i'll try it now
Right-mouse click on the exe file and then select extract here. Files will be automatically placed in the same place where the exe file is.

After download and convert all downloads part into one folder, we got two files
1)

these file can be open with Winrar
i open the first file with winrar inside it i found the system.sin file i drag it into my system
now i get the xperia S system.sin file....
Problem is that i want to unpack this sin file, for that i used aIUP.exe but its not unpacked then i used sin to img software but same result

I select the ROM file as input file from Acer update decrypter, and it will generate a new ROM file by click "START"
But my question is how to unzip the decrypted ROM ??
I try winzip and winrar .. both can not work .

EDIT: sorry misread - try 7z never failed to work for me
it should "output" a " file which you can the unzip and extract the "update.zip" - your pc antivirus will see the decrypter as a trojan, maybe its preventing it from running???

I downloaded 0PGZIMG_A50ML_DTUL_L50_DESIRE_SENSE70_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.1_Radio_1514P2.P02.0501.0506_release_453730_combined_signed.zip
when i try to extract it with winrar , i only get 3 files
if i try to open with 7zip it shows 24 files
still missing system.img and some other files
is there any special program to extract all files from this firmware
