I am owner of xiaomi Mi8 recently and removing the cover to clean it, I noticed that the power button and volume have a little 'play. it's normal?

Quality? Meh. I had high hopes for this phone and all I got was scuffs and minor scratches on the back panel within a couple of days of usage. Lesson learnt - Unless you want your phone to look like a toddler had played with it, use a cover. Always.

The materials are not the best as the left side can make creaky sounds when you press on it.
Obviously can't compare to a flagship device.
I like that there is no glass back, though.
For the price, nothing to complain about.

The plastic they used feels really smooth and rubberish thus soft and comfortable. I love it. No cubic corners to hurt my fingers. I could hold it all day.

I one year of my usage of the device, it has gotten some small scratches in the lower back, since that's the point of friction due to the higher than surface camera cluster.
