Hello, is anybody have problem with public Wi-Fi Login Notification (Example : Using McD Public Wi-Fi) ?
If i connect to open public wifi for example McD Wi-Fi it should be need to sign-in before can use. But sign in notification doesn't appear like image below . Anyone face it ?

It's simple after connecting to the wifi just open a web browser and the login page will load.

I try open Chrome and enter some site (Example : google) but still can't sign-in.
Did you type something ?

I didn't typed anything just connect to WiFi then open browser and wait for page to load.
May be try opera

Can it be beacuse of lack of 5 ghz dual band wifi?

No it's not because it doesn't have 5ghz wifi. It's a software problem.

I'm also having the same problem. Login page didn't opened up even after opening up the browser, but the I enter the login page's URL then it worked .

Yeah I'm also, already reported to ASUS and my post was replied by Admin.
Hope next update will be fixed.

Aftar connection of wifi just open your browser and type railwire.co.in then u'll see the sign in page

Ever since using Opera 10 whenever I load a site for the first time I get the message "502 bad gateway"
If I then refresh the page then it loads fine

This problem started ever since installing Opera 10 weeks ago. It is the same for all sites I go on (even the google search bar) - but again only for the first load, refreshing always loads the page correctly. Then all the following sites on that tab work ok, however if I then open a new tab the problem occurs again on the new tab until page refreshed

I'm not sure if this will resolve your problem, but you can try the following:
1. Open Opera browser.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select the Advanced option and make sure the Set Opera as default browser checkbox is selected.

There is no option of setting opera as default in settings or advanced settings

I just realised that, i'm using 9.7
Try the following using a Registry Editor:

Shame... have you tried re-installing the Opera application to see if that makes any difference? does IE react the same when you launch its browser?

Well this happened each time I installed Opera 10 after flashing new ROMS's on several occasions (Energy Leo and XannyTech Evo).
Have tried internet explorer and that works fine

I get this same error, but if I turn off 'Opera Turbo' the error disappears. Strangely Opera Mini (which I thought used the same page compression techniques) does not have this problem - and is so much faster at loading pages too.
Turning off Opera Turbo is my solution!

ok so I did a backup of my xoom then put it back to stock downloaded the app, loaded custom recovery, loaded root and super user, got the apk file, then restored my original config, installed the apk and its now working!
If anyone else needs it just pm me, cant add it here as its just over 8mb.

hmmm... the preview Modus works fine, but after the 2min i must log in to watch the game/show...
the Log In dialog opens, i log in, but after that, the app says i am NOT loged in...
on my HTC Desire its worked perfect...
someone else have trouble with the log in on the tablet version??
and yes i have a subscription, i have the season package
not got that issue, when I log in I stay logged in. My only big issue with the app is it doesn't keep the screen active so every minute the screen was locking. Now changed it to lock after 30 minutes but still a pia!

I'm having the exact same problem. Works great on my Atrix, but doesn't login on the Xoom. It just seems to login to the 'popup website', and if you click out it isn't logged in. Frustrating!!

i send a email with the problem to [email protected].
The first answer i recieved 8minutes after i send the question!
After 3-4 Emails, they asked if my xoom is rooted, i answered yes, but since then i recieved nothing. The ticket is still open
OK keep us updated, I have the same problem now with my 2.2 based rom however it was working fine in 2.1 and in stock uk 3.1 wifi, I was thinking it might have been the UA string but changing it didn't help.
I'm having the exact same issue on my rooted Advent Vega. The log in window appears but then doesn't close after i've logged in. Anyone found a solution.

I found the problem with the Support.
The problem is a incorrect User Agent in the default Android Browser.
When you surf with your xoom on http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ you must have something like :
Code:
Your User Agent is:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 3.2; YY*-XX*; MZ601 Build/HTJ85B) AppleWebKit/534.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/534.13
YY*/XX* ==> your language..
I used the Team Tiamat Xoom Rom and after i install the "Mod pack 2 : Stock User Agent String" it works!!

Hi, can anyone help me on this.
When i use the internet, and it needs to go to another page or tab, an error message appears that says I have consumed all 16 tabs and should close some if not all. I check and only have a few open. I close all except for the internet, and , its still the same error message and does not make the phone go to the next part of the website I am looking at.
Use to happen once in awhile, but, now always.
Anyone pls assist

Which mobile browser are you using? Assuming it's either the Samsung stock browser, try in chrome and try downloading Firefox from the play store to see if the error reproduces in other browsers
Edit; when you say you close some "except the internet" are you referencing apps? Because that would be a memory issue and not a browser tabs issue so be sure to check the tabs in your browser, not in your recent apps screen.

P.s I don't think there is an issue with the Samsung Browser itself, it's layout can be quite awkward but there should be a button near the top right that lists all of your open tabs with an option to close them!.

Everytime me display went off, and then about 10 minutes, i cant get any whatsapp messanges or other internet apps news.
Its like the internet is closed after this time.
But if a activate the display, i see that there is a internet connection.
Any idea what this could be?

I have it too, if you're using lspeed than it's dose mode... Wifo goes off after some mins cuz deepsleep is activating.
This is a realy damm bug!
After a while you can get any whatsapps or else.
Not realy nice.

You need to go in wifi setting and select always keep wifi on. Also add whatsapp in ignore battery optimization and there is a setting in developer option related to this. I can't remember it. I hope this will solve the issue.

Try to convert whatsapp and other needed apps to "system apps". YOu can use app like Apps2SD to do this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.co.pricealert.apps2sd&hl=en
If apps are "user apps" EMUI kills app if screen is off, but it doesn't do this for "system apps".

This is emui problem not Android. I am using RR I don't have this problem. Where did you get Android 7 (with emui) on Huawei p8 lite?
Hi. I'm traveling and having an issue signing into guest wifi sites. I'm not sure what you call it ?.
I click on the available WIFI, I'll use Tampa airport open WiFi as an example. After clicking the WiFi the tablet connects me without issues but I can't use the internet because the page never opens to allow me to accept the terms of agreement. How do I get this page to open? Other devices are not having an issue with the page opening, only this tablet. Sometimes I can type the address into the browser and accept the terms. Sometimes I can't.
Is there something in settings, security, IDK where, that I have to enable?
I see that webview app is disabled by default and can't be enabled. I'm not sure this is related, but mentioning it.

I haven't had this issue but thank you for posting how you fixed it. Most don't bother to do that and you could be helping someone years down the line.
