You will have to root your K6 Power,download ES File Explorer from Google play
navigate to folder /vendor/etc/ ,it is in the main directory of the phone
Find mixer_paths.xml file ,and hold your finger on it,then choose open with ES Text Editor
When the file opens Look for the line:
<path name="handset">
it will be around line 894 or so
and in the following section
<ctl name="RX1 Digital Volume" value="84" />
And change numeric value to something higher.
Do not use value above 99!
I was using value=95,it was perfect for me,when you change the value,save and exit,restart the phone and do a call.
I was using Lineage around 3 months ,it was perfect.But everybody complained about an incall echo. I hope you don't have echo issues.
I am using Lenovo k53a48(K6 Note) ,this fix is for all Lenovo K6 users,tested and it worked 100% on any model.
If it doesnt work,go to the official thread of lineage 15.1 in xda and read the comments,i have answered the same queation about 20 times.So good luck!
P.S. Do not go in System or sys folder like in the video! just go to Vendor folder,then /etc and find mixer_paths.xml

stock rom is not lineage rom,in stock rom,the mixer_paths file is in root/system/etc . There will be no difference if you copy the original mixer paths,i have already tried to fix that too.This fix works only on lineage 15.1 rom,because the incall low volume is lineage related problem.

How to increase your Honor 7 maximum volume

If, like me, you find your Honor 7's maximum volume still too low, here are the steps to increase it, and finally be able to fully hear your music in public.
First, you need a ROOTED HONOR 7 PLK-L01.
Then you need a file browser like Root browser or so.
You will also need a xml file editor like QuickEdit.
1. Go to system>emui>base>prop
Open local.prop with QuickEdit.
Go to: ro.config.hw.security_volume=14
Change it to #ro.config.hw.security_volume=14
OR
ro.config.hw.security_volume=20 (it increases the maximum, it doesnt change the volume itselfs but prevents it to be locked by the security from Emui)
2. Go to system>hw_oem>Plank-L01>prop
Open local.prop
Same as before, change the value or add a # before the line.
Note that i'm not fully sure if this steps are mandatory but it will prevent a non working volume tweak occured because of the Emui's volume security.
3. Now go to system>etc>audio>hi6402
Open mixer_volumes_PLK_L01_ce.xml with QuickEdit.
Go to:
<path name="dup-media-fm-headset">
<ctl name= "S1 IL PGA GAIN" value="250" />
<ctl name= "S1 IR PGA GAIN" value="250" />
(QuickEdit has a search option on the top right corner)
And change the values to what you think is enough for you.
For me its 265, like this:
ctl name= "S1 IL PGA GAIN" value="265" />
And it should be it ! Don't forget that security volume is set to prevent auditive damages so please be careful with the values you set.
That's only for a headset, you need the change the value manually for the speaker too, with the same method.
If you have any questions or need help i'll gladly help.
Also if the steps 1 and 2 arent mandatory, i'd be happy to know.
EDIT:
Seems that you also need to change these values now (can't tell from which update this came from) for the tutorial to work:
@ Path name="media-headphone"
ctl name= "s1 IL PGA GAIN"
ctl name= s1 IR PGA GAN"
Cant find step 1 and 2 in system
Thank you
Could You be so kind and give us step by step for speakers please?
Much obliged.
For me existing volume is sufficient

Didn't had the chance to do it yet. Also seems that values You recommending are massively to big.
EDIT: Just took a peek inside file : mixer_volumes_PLK_L01_ce.xml and there is line for headphones You was writing about. But for speakers i just dont know which one to change as there is 'hundreds' similar with word 'speaker'.
Can You tell me exact line to change for higher volume of speaker ?

B330/Android 6.0
There is no simple value changing as in
Code:
<path name="dup-media-fm-headset" >
<ctl name="S1 IL PGA GAIN" value="265" />
<ctl name="S1 IR PGA GAIN" value="265" />
</path>
There is
Code:
<path name="dup-media-fm-speaker" >
<path name="media-speaker" />
</path>
So what or how to change?
And what does
Code:
<path name="dup-media-fm-headphone" >
<ctl name="S1 IL PGA GAIN" value="250" />
<ctl name="S1 IR PGA GAIN" value="250" />
</path>
do? I did not change those, just <path name="dup-media-fm-headset" > - do I need to edit those values too?
I really would like to push up the volume just a little bit for the main speakers.
Is this for bottom speaker? Since I cannot hear any difference on earpiece speaker at all.
Could someone save exampled mixer files to download? I think my files have some low values, because my earpiece is very low.

How to Disable proximity sensor in Nougat

Hello everyone,
My sensor went bad after screen replacement. It always detects as near. Until now I was using xposed to disable it. But now after upgrading to Android N, I don't have xposed and I don't know how to fix it.
The screen is turned off when I make/attend a call, making it difficult to end.
Is there any config file or something in source where I can disable it??
Thank you.
You can use settings>accessibility>Use power button to end call...
Thanks. I am doing what you said now. But still it would be better if I get and solution to disable it.

I have not tested in N, but it works in MM.
Copy android.hardware.sensor.proximity.xml the known position and change its string
Code:
<feature name="android.hardware.sensor.proximity" />
to
Code:
<feature name="" />
Go to the TWRP.
Mount the partition system.
Check the permission and assignment to groups for file android.hardware.sensor.proximity.xml
Rename the file android.hardware.sensor.proximity.xml
Copy the changed file android.hardware.sensor.proximity.xml to the /system/etc/permissions
Change the file permission and assignment to groups that have the original file.
Reboot.
The solution for that it change the black thing make the bigger hole on sensor of light and the small one with other
Default for that is small one with sensor light and bigger one for something else
So sorry for bad language see that steps here

Just out of curiousity, what was the reason to comment out the ALTER TABLE line in DialerDatabaseHelper.java?
I've attached my version of the fix that I've been running since CM13, now recompiled for CM14.1. There's effectively only one line of code changed. Source is up-to-date to Feb 6, 2017.
As far as I can tell, digital0's version works just as well, so there's no reason to try mine if you're not having issues with his.
Same way to install the apk. Attached diff for the curious.

Init.d support is needed. Probably on every custom rom this feature is working out of the box, but there is an easy way to get it on rooted stock.
How to get Init.d working? Follow this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933849.
Download attached "enable_doubletouch2w.zip"(yep I f*** the filename ), extract it anywhere, copy extracted file to your phone internal storage (e.g sdcard).
Now, copy/move (whatever) it to the /etc/init.d., set correct permissions (same as other scripts in the directory) and voila. I used Root Explorer Classic.
So, on every reboot script will run and change value from 0 to 2 in /sys/ANDROID_TOUCH/doubletap2wake

Enable Dual Speaker Mod

After so much time, I finally work this!
This mod includes a speaker as a multimedia speaker, and also increases the volume of the headset and speaker.
Installation:
1. File mixer_paths.xml throw in / system / etc /, give the rights 0644 rw-r - r--
2. File tinymix to throw in / system / bin /, give the right to 0755 rwxr-xr-x
3. Reboot and enjoy
Call and enable speaker to test this mod.
If anybody tries this, make sure you keep a copy of your original mixer paths. This did not work for me.

You think the reason this didn't work is because i also have viper installed? Are both speakers used during a call?
Didn't work for me either. Running rr 7.x

Are you using Motorola stock firmware or CM/LOS custom ROM? The mixer paths are different on each.
I tried on on stock (albiet brazilian) firmware and although it didnt destroy sound altogether like it did for me on rr, it seems to have done absolutely nothing.
So its not working on viper os?
Anyone knows how to enable dual speaker moto e 4 plus ?

[MOD]Add Face Unlock to any ANDROID

ADD FACE UNLOCK TO ANY ANDROID
NOTE:- I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE
So finally i have discovered a way to add face unlock to any android by using the Google Smart Lock feature...
This feature is available in most of the android devices:good:...
There are two methods of doing THIS 1. Using ROOT2. Without root(using adb)
LETS START
1. USING ROOT
-download gapps compatible with your android(gapps must be nano or above)
-install ''RAR'' to your phone
-extract gapps.zip to your phone[make a separate folder(optional)]
-open the extracted files and open GApps folder
-here you will find 4 files (1.facedetect-lib-arm.tar.lz, 2.faceunlock-all.tar.lz, 3.faceunlock-common.tar.lz, 4.faceunlock-lib-arm.tar.lz)
-open facedetect-lib-armcommonlib and copy libfilterpack_facedetect.so to systemlib and set the permissions
-similarlly copy all the files and if required create new folder with the permissions and paste the files from all the 4 files
-EX:- copy Face Lock folder to system/app and set permissions
-reboot your device
-open settings>security>smart lock... here you will find Trusted Face option
-ADD YOUR FACE ND ENJOY....!!!
NOTE:- Permissions details will be in second post...
2. Without root(using adb)
I will be updating the fourm later with full adb method details...
BUT, if you want to give it a try... then learn some adb commands for pushing files to system folder and setting up the commands...
Your would have to one by push the files and the folders and set the specific permissions...
***In the screenshot section, the first screenshot is of setting permissions for file and the second one is for setting permissions for folder***
NOTE:- I used es file explorer for doing this modification.
NOTE:- I tried this on a700fd on stock touchwiz android 6 rom... and it worked perfectly:laugh:
***If this helped you, please Press THANKS***
***For any query, REPLY***

please i need adb method too can anyone help?
I have tried root method and is not working for me. I'm on Havoc OS Android AOSP 9.0 on a Xiaomi Mi Max 2 device.
Your guide isn't clear at all but I think that I made all the steps. When I reboot the phone, folder with files added in system/app are missing and of course the face unlock option at Smart Lock menu is not present. Seems that Android erase the files by itself, don't know why.
Thanks anyway.

maybe this is a newb response but if the files aren't in android 10 it shouldn't matter since this mod is putting the files there. So the files will be there. Maybe the dev that started this thread or someone with more experience can chime in here because thats exactly why im here. They removed the faceunlock framework from opengapps and i figure if they can remove it then it can be added back. I kinda feel like something will still be missing if you do this mod alone on android 10 though. I would like to know what exactly they removed from opengapps and then compare that with the files in this mod and maybe the 2 combined should get it working. Thats the line of thinking that im on. Sometimes it's that simple. I mean look at how many features can be turned on with flags and simple build.prop edits. I'm just not sure exactly how the face detect and faceunlock was removed and i need that little piece of information to grasp the scope of the problem a little better. Anybody Tried this on lineage 17 or any other android 10/q rom yet?:silly:

I don't want to root my device but I need face unlock in my Mi A2 device.
pixel experience (android Q) has this face lock feature, so I guess maybe we could extract from it
Welp, OpenGapps does not include the face unlock anymore so RIP :/
