Wipe everything and format data, after which reboot the recovery and flash the LOS 15.1

Oh your running the stock recovery........
If you are rooted, you should have Clockworkmod.
Try using ADB to force the CWM recovery.
idk what ABD is?
Adb and cwm**
You rooted and ROMed, yet don't know what ADB is?
CWM is short for Clockworkmod, a alternative recovery that you should have installed when you ROMed.
I am going to need to more details before I can properly help you.
Edit: ADB is like MS-DOS, but for Android. It gets you out of every problem all of the time. It's good to know when rooting and ROMing.
well thanks for all your help man but after 2 days of this i just ordered a new phone, thanks though! i appreciate it.
That sucks. Well glad I could be of some help at least. Did you send back the D2?
Hopefully you have learned something from all this.

Model type?
Rom you have?
what do you mean by wipe? All?internal included?
If you dont tell exactly whats happening, no one can help you....
Reboot into recovery by pressing power plus volume - till LG logo appears then release and press again till you are asked if you want to factory reset, then press power button 3 times. You will enter twrp when it is installed. After that you can sideload a Rom or if you haven't erased the internal, you can restore backup or install Rom zip again

it similar to soft brick tried this one.
download below thing. and follow procedure which is in second link. dont be panic. you will be boot in lollipop.
Link for fastboot rom
Link for tool and guide
:fingers-crossed: :highfive:
Press and hold both the volume up and down keys as well as the power key to boot into recovery menu, dear friend. If you see nothing other than the boot logo, use the fastboot way. And yeah, since you've wiped the os off your system, download a new rom which you'd flash if your phone boots into recovery menu.

urgent help needed please

I have rooted my device a few days ago and all was well. Today I tried to flash it to install a custom rom and now it's in a boot loop. Is there any way to get it out of a boot loop? I've tried the usual hold power button with all the type of key configurations and still no joy. I was thinking of un rooting it to try to get it back to stock but can't find the stock firmware can somebody please link me to it? I'm new to android so I'm a bit frustrated and worried as it's a lot of money I paid for it. Thabks
Try wipe CACHE and DALVIK cache in recovery (vol UP+HOME+POWER), then reboot.

Tried that but nothing happens when I do that. No android logo or anything the only thing it does is go into download mode.
Ok, try this. Official firmware. You dont write which variation you have, so this is for F. Download and install via Odin with Download mode.

You have to enter twrp in hard mode to make a factory reset in twrp and not in settings. Do the following:
- Power off
- Press Vol down + Power. When you see LG logo, release power and press and hold it again
- You will see a white screen. Reply Yes twice (it will ask twice)
- it should boot to twrp again
- in twrp go to wipe and swipe slider to make a factory reset
- reboot system
If it still doesn't reboot to system, make everything I said above and reflash rom. But if you didn't mess with system it should reboot ok without reflashing.

Making a factory reset in android settings also make a TWRP loop. What I said above is the way to solve that loop. Now, if you don't any ROM installed, you need to do it. Even without anything installed you can connect your G6 to PC and copy a ROM to be flashed with TWRP.
I've done this several times, not only with G6 but with other phones also. Just boot to TWRP, connect to a PC and use Android File Transfer to copy a ROM to SD or Internal storage. Flash it and reboot.
yes. i try it. twrp loop again. my internal patrition is empty.
i clear cache, flash rom (fulmics, stock, etc) and reboot to system- twrp loop. always.

Did you enter TWRP using the hard method I said above? If you don't, it will not work. Also, make sure you have decrypted data partition
Did you ever had anything else other than stock rom installed and running? If not, and you to run Fulmics you need to format DATA with the format option (not the wipe one) to decrypt it, then install bootloader for V10T and Fulmics 1.5 (this is explained in Fulmics thread).
Anyway, I can assure you that if you proceed as I said on my first reply, and install Fulmics it will boot properly, it's just the way you enter TWRP that it will make a difference, if you don't use the hard method you will not exit the twrp loop.
