Hi Guys, my english is not Perfect today i found some thing Wierd on my screen. I post Photo here as you can See sataus bar are is perfect White but the rest screen have other color I can this difference even in game.

I recently got a used HD to replace my Hermes and started flashing new winmo 6.1 and 6.5 roms aswell as the latest 1.17 radio, after flashing HSPL 156Olinex.
After looking at some pictures on the HD i was suprised to see really strong color banding in some pictures.
Please have a look at this sample picture of the HTC gallery:
I see really strong banding in the dark green area of the stem of the flower underneath the yellow head.
Also a lot of standard background pictures eg the standard grey circular gradient of the manila interface show banding "rings".
Recently i flashed the Rom Topix 3.2.2 and observed the a strange effect:
After an Hard reset, during the configuring process of the first boot up a orange windows mobile screen with a circular gradient is displayed. at first the gradient is smooth and just before the first stylus calibration the screen suddenly changes and the circular gradient is now broken up by colorbanding rings.
I do not know why i did not see the banding problem at first sight before flashing anything, so i am not sure if it is a hardware problem with the screen or a bug resulting from my flashing marathon. Or is this just the normal banding resulting from the windows mobile 65k Color limitation?

My pictures do not look that bad, but this blog post concerns me even more, that this could be a hardware problem.

Hello every one.
I have a question about lcd screen;
I uploaded white 1280x1024 jpg image into hd2; then I watched jpg on whole screen (maximized)
It looks like top of screen is not as bright as bottom
it seems to me that the top, right edge of the screen is a bit darker (yellowish/ creamy?)
i tried to attach screen photo-but i can't (im new user)

I just recently got my Note 3 last week through At&t and I'm highly satisfied. I have a question that I have not found the answer to yet. The phone, contacts, and message screens are predominantly white with black font. I kind of have a hard time with this due to my bad eyes. I can see better with a black background with white font. Is there a way to change these screens to black? I have watched some YouTube videos and see people with black backgrounds And White font in these screens. Help please.

i have a n9005 branded voda phone.
its overall colour re dailer, messages ,contacts is standard a darkish blue /black with white letters.
so it seems it a carrier thing .?( your colour white with black font or did you by accident enable a wrong settings ?)
one thing, have you tried to go.....settings /device/accessibility then scroll down to negative colours (reverse the colour of screen )
if i tick it my dark screen will be reversed to white etc..etc untick and i have darkscreen with white lettering
there is also other very good settings on that page eg..font size ...short cut

Hi everyone, just a quick question. When my screen is set to +3 brightness or so I can see that in some menus (for example settings) the colour at the top of the screen is darker than on the bottom!! Please note, you can only see this when the screen is very bright. The more you are looking down on the screen the brighter it gets. When I look at Internet and the backcolour is white it also is darker at the top than on the bottom of the screen.
Is this normal or do I have a defective screen?

From today the white fonts have a black annoying frame, I do not know what happened and I can not find the way to fix it, do you have any suggestion?
