Better than my x4 and z2 play, very similar than my z2 force

Just received the phone today, at first it was pretty low. So I played my music and wow it was loud.

I have a moto x play and I was thinking about changing it with a Moto z3 play
I've only one concern about the speaker: Can anyone tell me if the moto z3 play's speaker is better than the moto x play one?
tnx

Can't hear media unless in a quiet room. Listening outside is near impossible!
It's an alright speaker, it's front facing so that's always a plus.
It's not bad, but nothing special, no stereo speaker.
If you turn volume on full blast you will hear some occasional crackling. I usually end up turning it down two notches from max. Wish it was stereo.

Sony Xperia XZ1 vs Xperia XZ speaker comparison:
Meh..I have it. It's not that loud. I have a Note 8 as well and it's definitely louder. Even with the bottom firing speaker. I love the XZ1 but it's speakers for media and calls (and speaker phone calls) are not very good especially for being front firing.

The Boom box sound effect feature is AWESOME!
This is the best speaker compared to any smartphone. It's loud and clear. Though it would have been awesome if earpiece speaker was also working like v40 while watching videos. Sometimes in some songs you might hear some cracking noise on full volume.
Man you need to hear this phone when placed on pepper surfaces though it's a table top or car bonnet.
To sum it up, this speaker is a best thing to happen to LG G7 thinQ.

Crazy high volume! Not so crisp when it's maxed out, but it's very loud!
It's so damn loud, that I don't even need my JBL Go bluetooth loudspeaker anymore. It's sound quality is quite good, not the best but a lot better than most other phones. R.I.P. if you play Clash Royale on the toilet and forgot to turn sound off, everyone in the will now

The speaker is tuned for loud ringtones. You can't miss the alarm if you set it on G9 Power.
The audio during phone calls is loud and clear.
They are very loud and clear, and perfectly acceptable for music and content consumption.
I would have preferred a stereo setup, though.
But anyway, they are very good as they are.
