The X522 is the LeEco LE 2 and the following link is to the device dedicated area of the forum for this device.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-2
There's a handful of them within the Development area of the above link.
Just an FYI... If you encounter "X52x", then that just means that it's compatible with more than one variant that begins with X52.
Good Luck!

Thanks, But just one more thing
So I've checked on the phone box and in the "about phone" section in the setting they all refer to the device as the "Le S3 Model X522" so i'm not really sure as to why it would still be called the le 2. Then again i'm new to this so you may be right.

That's a great question!
One reason that I can think of is because the first LeEco S3 was just referred to as LeEco and the subsequent versions were just numerically used.
Another reason might be that since there are other devices that had "S3" within them, this became confusing with the other devices.
I'm not really sure myself but, you do see the matching X522 Model numbers within that area. Maybe you can ask this question somewhere within that area.
Maybe my friend @Droidriven might know this a bit better than I do.

That's Great News!
Based on your response, I learned something about this too, the X522 is the same thing with only the Branding difference between the LeEco S3 and the LeEco Le 2.
Thank you for your response and Enjoy!

So i'm a bit stuck on how to flash twrp on this device any advice would be great.

thanks for the info about the x522 and different region names! that will be useful
I was researching about it cause its my little bro's phone and he wanted to update to the custom rom android 9
so im not sure if I break the rules by posting external links (delete post if I do)
but I would share the links to respect the sources and autors cause thats not me, I found how to install TWRP but i havent tried yet, cause my bro's phone is still on its way here (he wanted it to play video games, so he wanted a custom gamer's rom, snapdragon 652 seems to run prety good stuff for that price)
so following same steps than other phones I found:
1 - unlock the bootloader (Prerequirement!!!) https://clickitornot.com/unlock-bootloader-on-leeco-le-pro-3/
2 - following the TWRP tutorial (same basic steps than other android phones https://clickitornot.com/install-twrp-recovery-root-leeco-le-s3/
I only need to research what custom rom would be better for him to give an entire gaming boost, specially for emulators like gamecube and psp (no problem running android native games , according to internet the processor 652 could even run unreal 4 games like life is strange)

Samsung S7390

Hi All,
I'm Jack Droid and I'm a new member.
I have a Samsung Smartphone model S7390.
Surfing into the internet, I understood that there is not much development for this device...
Maybe because that device is not so appreciated but anyway, I have this model!
Moreover, I did the root and I found an CWM recovery that it's ok for it but what I have never found, is a custom rom.
My question is : do you know if exist a device that could be quite similar to Trend Lite S7390 so that I can use a rom for that and try to flash into my device ?
Many thanks for your attention and waiting for your kind reply.
All the best

you dont want to try a rom just because it is made for a "similar" phone. it is very likely to brick your phone.
the rom must say it is compatible or made for your phone, or you cant use it.
unfortunately, i can find no roms for your phone, as you already found out.

Hi bweN diorD,
thanks for your reply.
I suspected that was not possible to flash a rom for another device into mine but considering that development for my phone is not so much acitve, I was thinking that could be a solution but it seems that it's not a good idea!
I was thinking to S5280 but it has a dual core cpu if I remember well...
Anyway, I have to leave my phone just with CF root and CWM recovery and considering the actual situation, I'm happy in that way !
I will continue my hacking experience with my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition that has much more development.
I also have seen in this very good forum that a member is development a CyanogenMod for that tablet so thjat I'm following the evolution and when the rom will be rock stable, I will proceed to flash it.
I thank you again for your support and I wish you a very good evening!
See you into the forum and all the best!
EDIT
I'm following the development on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52978200
S7392 is the same phone of S7390, only S7392 has two slim but electronical components are the same.
Maybe this could be a good solution!
Well you can try fancylite rom

SM-S820L Lollipop Update?

Is there any way to get Android Lollipop on the Galaxy Core Prime SM-S820L? I have read about custom ROM's but I still don't know much about them and can't find any for this model. If anyone has found or created a way to flash a custom ROM onto this device, please let me know.

I also own this device, and unfortunately there is very limited support in the custom Rom department. If there was to be a lollipop Rom, someone would either have to port one somehow, or build it from source. Given the development rate for this device, I don't predict it happening anytime soon, sorry to say.
not going to happen
i have been trying since february the answer i got from my carier was samsung is contracted not to support this device thats why that is so hard to find samsung told me to take the device to bestbuy to force update if they could probably irrelavent but maby it helps
SM-S820L Got the Shaft!
Yup! This seems to be the future for the SM-S820L, or lack of future I should say.
I too have the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-S820L. I have spent lots of hours scouring the internet looking through every android related forum in hopes of eventually finding someone that is undertaking much needed programming to build a custom ROM for this CorePrime version.
If you are looking for a custom recovery to use. I can point you to my and others posts over at Needrom. The best I can offer is an unofficial TWRP release, but it DOES work! It does for myself at least and I am no Android Guru whatsoever.
I guess I am not allowed to post Links in any of my posts yet because I am still a NOOB on these forums. I'll PM you with some direction my friend!
I cannot take credit for coming up with any of that software. I simply rooted around long enough to compile a collection of tools and files that worked for me to modify the Recovery of my SM-S820L.
:good: Feel free to shoot me a Private Message on this site or to my personal Email....... [email protected]
I would love to help out as much as I can with modding your phone. Like I said, I'm not a proffesional but I have read up on the procedures used and been successful with my own Galaxy Core Prime:laugh:

Custom ROM's and CWM recovery for SM-S820L?

I have been into modding my SM-S820L for a few months now and although I have found an unofficial TWRP release and a few stock ROM's from various sources, I have never seen any type of CyannogenMod ROM or other custom ROM for this phone.
Also I have been wondering about compatibility between some of the other Samsung Galaxy Core Prime models or similar Samsung phone in general. Would it be plausible that a ROM for say SM-G360T would run on an SM-S820L????
I would love it if anyone knows about compatibility between the SM-S820L and other Samsung Galaxy phone's firmware and custom recovery releases and is willing to share the knowledge would post here with some advice.:good:
Sm s820l
I'm in the same boat as you, there's just not much out there, a new rom was posted on area51 but it wasn't much different, just got rid of bloatware as far as I could tell. I look at it like it's a cheap phone, and as far as custom roms and such, it's just not popular or not favored. I've spent hours searching, nothing out there but malicious websites lol. I'll keep you in mind if I come across something.
Head over to NEEDROM. I built a modified ROM from the Stock firmware for the SM-S820L.
Here is my post!!!
CM, PAC, etc, ROMs for other variants of the Core Prime definitely aren't compatible with the 820L variant? Nothing available but stock-based ROMs?
As far as I have found on the Net, and I have searched for countless hours, I havent found any truly custom ROMs from CM or any other ROM makers. All of my modded ROMs and Kernels are just modified stock files. I havent heard of the other SM- variants being compatible with the SM-S820L but if you ever do find info that certain ROMs work with this model, please post here or shoot me a PM.
I would be uber happy to finally flash something like a Cyanogen Mod ROM

An acquaintance of mine just got a Core Prime, so I was looking for info to root and ROM his phone. If you, someone who's actively been looking for the info hasn't found anything yet, it's pretty unlikely that I will. Looks like he just had the crummy luck of ending up with the variant that doesn't have much dev support. Thanks for the reply, though. People over in the SPH-L720 section don't tend to be nearly so helpful.

Is his Core Prime model SM-S820L? If so, I remember using Kingroot to root and then SuperSu Me to remove Kingroot and retain root. You can find SuperSu Me in the Aptoide app store.
After I rooted my phone, I installed TWRP with ODIN3. You do need to have the Samsung Drivers setup and Kies3 installed to have all needed drivers in order to use ODIN3 in your phone's download(ODIN) mode.

pro elite 3 x722- help, please

Hello! I bought elite 3 x722 and it comes with android 6- 5.8.020S shop rom., at first I didnt notice it because it comes with playstore and some other google features. I'm happy with phone but It doesnt allow me to upgrade at least for android 7 and the keyboard for messages is only in chinese or english tho' it has many languages to work with the phone. I've been reading you guys and I have watched some videos on youtube warning about Not Use Shop Roms, about this stealing our passwords thro' the apps etc. and Im scared. The thing is: apparently the official rom 5.9.026s comes with bugs, I've read lot of complains about people installing roms and the phone bricked then. My knowlodgment about phones is 0 so the tecnical language is being a pain in the ass for me to understand.. Want to kindly ask you what Rom for x722 Elite should I install. And how. And in a simple language language because Im a big noob
ps: sorry for my bad english
I'm on the 20s shop ROM from Banggood right now. I don't have an issue. As for privacy concerns, I can see where you're coming from. But the most you should be worried about is adware. You can uninstall LeEco bloatware apps via adb. See this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75670844&postcount=2
You should be more afraid of the NSA than some random Chinese companies that resell phones, lmao
As for installing a custom Nougat ROM, you can do that. Head over to the LeEco x722 development section. Hit the URL in my signature to learn how to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM. Since you're on 20s, you'll be able to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM easily. Read the sticky thread about the x722 in this forum before proceeding.
Stay away from official or stock 26s if you're interested in rooting your phone. Modded or custom 26s is fine.
Finally, this thread shouldn't exist because it asks some very basic questions. You should have read through this entire forum before making it. Please don't create threads without doing your research first. If you try that in other sub-forums, your threads will be removed or ignored.

thanks! I know these were dumb questions. I have read other topics trust me, but in the end I had the same doubts: 'so which rom should I install? which one is best?' because I always read stuff that worries me. But I dont like the shop rom. I even only get between 1.8- 2.1G out of 4G

Unused RAM is wasted RAM. That's what anyone who knows remotely anything about computers will tell you. And smartphones are just tiny computers. If you're experiencing app refreshes (going into an app restarts it) then it's probably the LeEco bloatware apps needlessly hogging memory in the background.
There's a phone code you can try in the stock LeEco dialer to turn off memory optimization or something like that. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/forum.x...-to-past-notification-issue-eui-t3497530/amp/
As for which ROMs is the best, that's up to you to research for yourself.

-Rom Porting Project- !!Help Wanted/Needed!!

Hi all, I have done some research and found that the HTC One A9 uses the same chipset that the Idol 4 uses and I want to start porting some of the roms from the A9 to our Idol 4. The Idol 4 is currently on Android 6.0.1 and I have found 2 6.0.1 custom roms for the HTC One A9. One is CM13 and the other is Mokee. I have tried following several outdated porting tutorials with no luck getting anything to boot. So what I want to do is reach out to the community and get our heads together and get something booting hopefully. The first thing that needs to be done is getting the Kernel to boot. If anybody has ported before and has a clue what they are doing, please pm me and we can get to work on this. The Idol 4 has been out 2 years now, we have a newer TWRP and I see no reason why we don't have something decent for our phones yet. The HTC One A9 also got the nougat update and there are 4 or 5 custom roms based on Nougat as well.
how ugly it is to see that nobody shows interest

Ya I find it pretty sickening that nobody has any interest who could help. Maybe once I get caught up on bills I will approach a known dev from the A9 forum and offer some money for help. I wish I could just sign up for a class on rom building, TWRP building and rom porting, lol. Maybe XDA should think about offering stuff like that for profit. Reasonable profit though, not exaggerated like everything else.
excelente trabajo
Gracias por este fantastico trabajo, funciona perfectamente idol 6055P, gracias.:good::good:

They made it?
