Just clear cache and data of playstore app and hide it using magisk hide and pass safety net

On Aex 5.5, I simply downgraded my play services app to march build. Works like a charm now.

1. Downgrade Google Play Services (Remove app from device administrators and use link2sd to uninstall)
2. Force Stop and Clear Data for Tez and Play Store
3. In Magisk hide Tez, PlayStore and Google Services Framework, Google Services Library
4. Pass the SafetyNet in Magisk
5. Reboot to get the device certified in Google Play Store
Now the App should work fine.
Worked on AEX 5.4

I have a simple solution
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-zuk-z2/how-to/solution-tez-app-fix-rooted-phones-t3793417
In short -
Just hide Tez in magisk and then go to settings -> apps -> Google Play Services -> Permissions -> and then disable Telephone access.
Now register on Tez again.
We can again enable the Telephone permission, but remember to disable it before opening Tez.

Hide app updates

I have a rooted nexus 6p and I'm trying to set it so google play store does not try to auto update my ad-free version of YouTube I have installed. Any ideas of how to hide YouTube from the installed apps list on the play store so I can "update all" without updating and breaking my ad free YouTube?
I use ZipSigner from the Play Store to zipalign the apk.

You used to be able to do that with Titanium Backup--simply remove the link from the Play Store market but I don't think that function works anymore with any Google apps because Google wants them updated. You might need to keep reinstalling your preferred version of the app or not use update all.

No Gapps Guide&Tutorial (MicroG)

Hi guys, this is an Tutorial of installing MicroG.
MicroG is an alternative to Gapps that includes:
Service Core: Is a library app, providing the functionality required to run apps that use Google Play Services or Google Maps Android API. (GmsCore)
Services Framework Proxy: Is a small helper utility to allow apps developed for Google Cloud to Device Messaging (C2DM) to use the compatible Google Cloud Messaging service included with GmsCore. (GsfProxy)
Unified Network Location Provider: Is a library that provides Wi-Fi- and Cell-tower-based geolocation to applications that use Google’s network location provider. It is included in GmsCore but can also run independently on most Android systems. (UnifiedNlp)
Maps API: Is a system library, providing the same functionality as now deprecated Google Maps API (v1). (mapsv1)
Store: Is a frontend application providing access to the Google Play Store to download and update applications. (Phonesky) [Same functionality and looks as the Gplaystore]
Why you would want to install MicroG instead of Gapps?
1.More privacy
2.Uses very little ram and memory
3.OGYoutube, an youtube app that works only with MicroG and has backround playback and downloads directly from the app
How to install MicroG:
Prerequisites:
In order for MicroG to work, it needs to pretend to be the official implementation of Play Services. To do this, MicroG must be able to spoof Google’s Play Service’s package signature.
Signature spoofing is not available in most custom ROMs, though patches are available for ROM developers to include in their project. For Marshmallow and Nougat ROMs, spoofing is provided as a runtime permission that the user can grant or deny to apps, which is an added bonus.
If your Rom doesen't include Signature spoofing then you can activate Signature spoofing with: Tingle/Haystack/NanoDroid/FakeGapps[Xposed Module]
First option:
Download Services Core, Service Framework Proxy, UnifiedNpl and FakeStore if you want to install other stores than the Official Google play store. (Yald Store, F-Droid etc) [Download link: https://microg.org/download.html]
Install them. After that go to MicroG settings and click on self-check, give MicroG the permissions required and check "System grants signature spoofing permission" if its not checked. To log in to Phonesky you need to enable Google device registration in microG settings, after that make any changes you want to the settings.
For more Advanced things check out: https://shadow53.com/android/no-gapps/setup-guide/3/ and https://shadow53.com/android/no-gapps/setup-guide/4/
Option two:
Flash MicroG from Recovery
Dowloads:
MicroG: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=890129502657595051
PlayStore: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=818070582850504869

Microg&Patched-Playstore: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754472306
Flash any of theese in recovery.
Option three:
Download from https://downloads.nanolx.org/NanoDroid/Stable/
I recommend NanoDroid-MicroG.....zip
Go to Magisk Manager, Go to Modules and add the NanoDroid zip that you like.
Thats it.
Or is it?
How to install OGYoutube:
Install the modified MicroG apk from https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/ogmods/microg-for-ogyt/microg-for-ogyt-0-2-4-81-gb1e98ea-dirty-release/microg-for-ogyt-0-2-4-81-gb1e98ea-dirty-android-apk-download/ (Its made so OGYoutube could work correctly.

[To make more apps work wihout play services, that MicroG doesen't include you can install "This app will run wihout google play services" Xposed Module]
You are DONE!

As i told in the thread.
MicroG is an ALTERNATIVE to Gapps. You don't flash MicroG over Gapps.
So basically uninstall the Gapps and MicroG / Clean flash the Rom.
And after that install NanoDroid-MicroG and NanoDroid-Patcher and enable google device registartion in microG settings.
Good luck. Next time read the thread proprerly

Hi,
I have installed Nanodroid via Magisk on LOS 15.
Signature spoofing is not enabled.
I tried the xposed installer from F-Droid. This did not work. Magisk has a number of xposed modules but I cannot figure out which version to use.
I then flashed nanodroid patcher 17.2. This failed also!
How can I get signature spoofing to work? Thanks!

Hi.
So your Rom is probably odexed.
You will need to use FakeGapps Xposed module.
Just install the Module, enable it from the Xposed app and reboot. Now signature spoofing will work.
If you need any futher help just pm me on Xda or telegram, @Thespartann.
Also if you want to log in into Play Store enable google device registration in MicroG settings.
I recommend you Aurora Store instead of Google Play Store
Good luck.

Hi Thespartann!
Thanks for the reply!
So, I got xposed installed. Flashed it in TWRP then in the xposed app I installed it via recovery.
I then eventually installed the FakeGapps app.
Microg gives self check now gives 'System spoofs signature' a tick - it did not before.
Another app 'Signature Spoofing Checker' however says 'Disabled' -???
I was trying to get the emergency/rideshare app 'Cell411' working. Previously it booted up and said play service were required. That message is now gone! Yay - except the map will not load!
So..
In microg there is a check box unchecked -'UnifiedNlp do not have location to test Geocoder'
In configure location backends I have 6 things ticked on.
nb The FOSS weather apps now load faster!
How do I get the map to load in Cell411 (and Uber)??
Am I missing some setting?
re: log in into Play Store enable google device registration in MicroG settings.
I have been using F-droid, Yalp and Aptoide. Will enabling device registration give me any functionality for maps?
I have not heard of Aurora! I will have to check that out!
What of google cloud messaging and SafetyNet - do I need those for any reason - map related or otherwise? ps I am trying to avoid all google service, foremost for privacy and secondarily for FLOSS reasons.
Thank you!

Hey again
From what I know google cloud messaging is for receiving notifications from some apps.
SafetyNet is so you can pass safety net
Google device registration is so you can log in to Youtube/Calendar/Play Store etc with your google account.
None of these three is enabled by default so no need to worry
Well, I never dived on how to use Maps, because I never needed to use Maps
Some apps may require you to have FakeStore, that's an app so other apps think you have Google Play installed (You might have to install FakeStore as a system app)
I will do my research these days and also highly update this thread with useful information.
As why Signature Spoofing Checker shows you you don't have signature spoofing, that may be because the framework still doesn't have signature spoofing, and the module FakeGapps just did some tricks, without modifying the Framework.
Still can't post in the NO GAPPS telegram?|
Can somebody help me out hear? I joined about two weeks ago and am still blocked from posting.
I really need help as every time I try and install MicroG (Non-root, P30 Pro) I get the app not installed error.

[SOLUTION] Tez app fix for rooted phones

For all those who are facing problem with Tez, I have a simple solution.
Just hide Tez in magisk and then go to settings -> apps -> Google Play Services -> Permissions -> and then disable Telephone access.
Now register on Tez again. Peace
Known Issues by disabling the permission :
1. Contacts don't sync to Google.
2. Apps like Google Duo which use phone number while registering do not register unless you enable the permission.
Fix for these issues :
Just enable the Telephone permission, do what you want, but remember to disable it before opening Tez.

I tried to get both phone pe and tez to send SMS with jiocall so, but it always fails. U can try by registering in the app and manually opening jiocall app, go to messages and send the message that was typed by phone pe, but the very act of switching to another app while registering will kill the registration process.
I waited till my phone got volte update and then tried. It seems like u need volte to register with jio.
So only options are to get a volte phone or Port to another operator like Airtel or idea.
Thanx

The only one way I forced to work Wallet on stock 1.1.7 with root - change fingerprint of phone, but after that fingerprint scanner is broken.
Another alternative here is usage of Magisk Delta (Canary build) which has got built-in MagiskHide. So no need for Shamiko module etc.
My setup is as following: Nothing OS Android 13 Beta v 1.5.
I used Magisk Delta build f71636c2-delta - from here to patch boot.img as well as for installaing as Magisk Manager. Later I renamed it to Manager/Magical to avoid detection by any apps.
Within Magisk Manager settings I have enabled Bootloop Protection, MagiskHide. Further within Configure MagiskHide - have selected the apps wherein need to hide root.
Two Magisk modules used by me
1) SafetyNet Fix by Displax v2.3.1-MOD_2.1 from here
2) Reset Sensitive Props from here
Thanks. This worked for my banking app in Japan.
I just had to turn on Enforce DenyList in Magisk and add the Yucho Ninsho app to be denied.

This guide is for you, if your banking app detects root on your Nothing phone (1) after you have installed Magisk
1. Clear yours banking apps data
2. Add banking app and Google playstore to Magisk's DenyList (make sure the Enfore DenyList toggle is off in Magisk's settings)
3. Download and install the latest version of Shamiko(https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed.github.io/releases) via Magisk
4. Download and install the latest version of LSPosed(https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed/releases/latest) module via Magisk (also install the LSPosed(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.lsposed.manager) app from the Play Store)
5. Reboot and open the LSPosed app to make sure it is working correctly
6. Download and install the latest version of Hide My Applist(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tsng.hidemyapplist) (HMA) app
7. Enable HMA in LSPosed
8. Reboot and open the HMA app to make sure it is working correctly
9. Follow the following steps to configure hiding in the HMA app:
Select Effective Apps -> Tap on "com.(name of your banking app)" -> Toggle Enable hide
Under the Preference head, tap on Select hide methods -> Check API requests, Intent queries, ID detections -> Tap OK
Under the Template config head, tap on 0 additional apps invisible -> Check Magisk, LSPosed and HMA
10. Tap on the save button on the top right corner of the app
11. Reboot and open your banking app, it shouldn't complain of root anymore!
I'm sorry about my broken English.

Hi Everyone,
It`s working for my banking app (K plus) but i got some other problems. Now, after each reboot some settings change : ( play protect on, zoom of the screen, wifi, bluethoot) and Google play store is not working. Maybe I missed something?
My config is SM-G975F, android 12, magisk 25.2, magiskhide props config, shamiko, Universal Safetynet fix, lsposed. Is someone have a tip for my problem?
Thank you,
Edit :
Google cannot get acces to any connection. So I removed magiskhide props config and use the true fingerprint, clear the denylist and HMA but nothing changed.
I cleaned the cache & data of the play store and play sevice. Now, i can connect to the google account and the play store is working. I reinstalled the "Hide" following the initial instructions and it`s working.
I don`t know where was coming the problem. But my settings are always changing when i reboot. Thank you anyway.
thanks bro i was searching for this! It works with Romanian Banking apps and google pay
update: it doesnt work with google pay it was working
Thanks. It does seem to work for Marriott hotel app v10.13.0 the latest, except I didn't perform these following steps mentioned. Maybe they are not applicable to the latest HMA 3.1.1 version on GitHub instead of play store? Also don't think I truly understand how to use template. Finally, there is a popup to ask me to uninstall Magisk? Probably not a good idea.
Under the Preference head, tap on Select hide methods -> Check API requests, Intent queries, ID detections -> Tap OK
Under the Template config head, tap on 0 additional apps invisible -> Check Magisk, LSPosed and HMA

Happy to note that it worked. Hiding root, especially with notorious bank apps, is a trial and error activity
