i have been using resurrection remix nougat.
i have problems regarding the mic. When i record a audio or video the volume output is damn low and sometimes not audible
But the speaker is fine listening to music is cool enough. The default camera doesnt support video recording. The video gets recorded but it fails to open the video.

Just be careful when making multiple posts with the same exact question...
I understand why and I'm not an Admin nor Mod but, they don't like this to be done.
It's encouraged for members to wait an understandable amount of time before bumping or posting again.
I, personally, give it about a week or so before doing this myself. That's gives other members a chance to respond.

Just give Chainfire or some other developer some time to root this device. As it's Samsung, rooting it shouldn't be too difficult (I guess )
And yes, you can buy SIII Mini almost everywhere.
I was wondering if the rooting will allow cell unlock.
I am asking this to know what to do: wait for root or go to a Samsung service for cell unlock.
root will not unlock the device, but I wish some great devs will developing for this S3 mini, wich is a very great phone imho

i have a small issue with the rule of not being able to post in the developer section until having made 10 posts
from my experience in doing some small dev work i would not want to be harassed directly for help with a solution that i provided
i would not want to be getting several PM's asking the same question from several different people all because they were not able to post their question on the thread where i provided the solution
since we are unable to post in a thread our questions or suggestions that leaves only one place to be able to post, the Q&A section
leading to the risk of multiple duplicate posts and resulting in more work for the moderators to clean up
what would be the correct way to get around this issue whilst still following the rules?

I just wanted to spread the word that the latest LineageOS Blog, that was written on 02 August 2018, was regarding a Survey they call their "Summer Survey 2 - Attack of the feedbacks".
I, personally, encourage as many members as possible to take. This is a GREAT way for providing valuable feedback to the Lineage Team.
Even if you don't/can't use the LineageOS for your device and want to make it known, then this is one way of doing so (as long as you have a device capable of installing a Custom ROM).
Here's just a taste of their Blog Announcement:
"While the project’s development proceeds, we think it’s important to take a moment and get some feedback from our users. It has been decided to create a simple survey, instead of collecting on-device metrics, to help us improve LineageOS in the right direction without wasting resources on things that our userbase is not interested in.
The survey is really simple and we won’t collect any sensitive information... "

I had a feeling that this may have been the intent of your question but, I didn't want to assume that prompted me to ask.
From what I understand, those specific OnePlus Gestures does have an app but, the app has one or more system dependencies to make it work.
I believe that i had seen (somewhere on the forum) other various apps and XPosed app modules that mimics various OnePlus features and I believe that this may be one of them.
I've never used those types of apps before and I can't be sure if one or more of them are directly from any of the OnePlus devices that were modified to work for other devices or just those features based upon the OnePlus features.

Listening music by bluetoothin the car is super low in sound that I can barely hear anything even crank up the volume in both phone and the car audio. Is there any way to modify this ?
