I think they are using Omnivision sensor in 4GB/3GB variant. For 6 GB Variant no idea.

No samsung or sony here, only OmniVision, SK Hynix and Galaxy Core. Can't find the 16 MP sensor for the 6/64 GB, but from the lib, there are few possible choices : Sony IMX298 (1,12 micron), Samsung S5K3P8 (1,12 micron) and lowest S5K3P3 (1 micron).
PS : I can't guarantee the info is correct.

I wonder if we can use the Asus camera from the Zen UI ROMs on this phone, or is a port needed. At least that camera app has better features than stock cam....

Hello, guys
I need some input here. Please look at the picture and tell me is it normal to have such a bad image quality in HD2?

Camera update
There is a update on the HTC support page for a camera update. Installing it does help with photo quality.

Look at this thread. Pictures taken with the HD2 should be that crisp and clear.

because I thought MP only affects the size, not quality, lol.
check your camera lens cover with a magnifying glass. mine came back from an HTC service with a fingerprint *behind* the glass which was washing-out all my pictures. i fixed it myself by popping the back and cleaning it (not something i would suggest anybody else does!)
at the size you have that in your post i would say 4mp or higher would be needed, problem with digital photos is something called noise, and it is a pain if you dont get the right size and iso
and also if you are using it alot change the iso settings if you can,
lower the number for brighter and higher the number for darker,
can anyone confirm if the lens cover is glass or plastic on the tmous hd2?

Most the tech sites are saying this pic is fake. Google has asked manufacturers to no longer use hard or capacitative buttons as ICS will use soft buttons. Not sure if thats true or not but the consensus is that this pic is not real
Highly doubt its the final product its touchwiz 4 without the changes they had to make because of the whole patent war... Doesnt make any sense... Also the picture looks shopped if check up closely.
I hope it's a fake because this phone is fugly.
fake and we don't give a ****... these GS III threads are getting stupid...
This is FUGLY
LOOKS LIKE ANY OTHER HTC PHONE (No offence but HTC phones especially the back is so disgusting...)
I really hope its fake. The design is so 2010

any solution guys ?
Hi
I think 99% galaxy note users havent this problem lol
Bad calibrating betwen screen and mali 400 gpu.
If you run on ics officiel you will pick ¨screen adjuster¨ on playstore and setup contrast to around 25

Yes , but screen gets more noise and lighter than before ( i want it more darker and clear to watch movies )
@mesho123
yes -25 bro ,my mistake.
If you want lighter you will use system brightness on screen adjuster.
i had similar problem but ended up being dead pixel. got it exchanged under warranty

Weird, didn't see a thread on it.
Updated the OP anyway.
Well, it is X1 plus not Q1 plus so it is new to the forum as far as I can see.

Download MTK engineering shortcut from play store and check out if you can boost the sound. Be careful though - it's tempting to mess around with other settings - but don't

it may not be stock android but at least it isn't a shameless apple ripoff. EMUI 5 comes out sometime in October or November since the honor 8 is new it should get the update almost immediately
