Dirac Audio Sound Enhancements Service - Xiaomi Mi A1 Questions & Answers

custom rom missing its charm without this, stock has it.....as well as snapdragon audio.
dont you guys think audio fx of any custom rom fails to deliver good output..?
audio fx is unnecessary without dirac audio service..audio fx is junk...dirac audio service needed..vanilla is always good when it is ice cream.

Arise System can be flashed with ported Dirac service on any custom rom.

Try arise aroma installer 2.94 choice install core system and repair sdcard... Viper4 or Dolby Digital Plus works fine on custom rom :good:

I agree... I've tried dolby but it breaks the music.. makes it **** (my opinion) and viper is okay but not good as stock.. we need dirac

The dac and the amp in this phone is very good you don't need Dirac. You can get perfect quality using audio players like USB audio player pro ,Poweramp etc that use hires audio drivers.i think the only thing that the phone misses in terms of audio is a line out mode to get bitperfect audio out if you want to use external amp

What kind of headphones do you use? The mi headphones in the Dirac profiles maybe get better audio quality. I am not against Dirac in my meizu mx4 pro that I still own (I use it as media player)It has profile for my ie8 also. I would say mi a1 sound quality is on the same level as mx4 pro .I even tested Dirac on my old iPhone 4s with Dirac player that supports apple headphones . But in general mi headphones and apple's are not very good .

Yuuup agreed.. i vote; Dirac for cusrom

what is dirac is exactly?(haven't tested custom ROM, so don't know difference)
I use viper4Android in stock though. Does that disable dirac?
Any interface of dirac? or can be checked through audio quality?

u r on ri8 place to discus abput headphones...
i have used too many earphones..
each and everyone is great..i prefer audiophile earbuds...balanced audio with deep base..but not heavy bass that makes headache ri8?
1. house of marley(smile Jamaica, early bird etc)
2. Cowon(em1, ek2)
3. beats(any)
trust me use these....if ur not bassheads..i was Sennheiser fan until i met cowon specially....dont waste ur money on mi crappy headphones or apple earbuds...i am currently using cowon em1 , it outperformed beats earbuds(personal experience)...and if u r slightly prefer lows and highs better than mid as well as high base get a house of marley.. if ur true audiophile then go for cowon em1

ok. Understood about dirac.

its background service only......no interface....but outperforms dolby or viper easily.... awesome detailed audio by dirac..must need a port this background service to custom roms.

Thats the Single Reason I left Custom ROMs,and reinstalled Stock. Dolby Atmos/Viper Trust me I dont like Personally ,don't know why the entire forum chased behind two applications ,God knows. Its my personal experience; opinion may vary person to person due to hearing/effect/choices. Currently I'm using stock with Poweramp+ Fiio Ex1 2nd gen headphone ..within 4.5k rs it produces boom sounds. High, mid everything is perfect also sound quality is much more with that price range. With Mi A1; I always advice people be on Stock ROM and buy a good quality of Headphone ...u do not need any kind of mods like viper/dolby/ainur etc...all of them are useless and tried before almost every custom ROMs.

Latest Pixel Experience (Extended and Official) both have Dirac built in now.

What is the main genre of music you listen to through "Beats"?

Hi All,
Just curious as to what music is best suited to the Beats functionality.
Do you need the Beats headphones to get good general listening?
Or is it just for the Dre-ish types of music?
I've tested it on my setup: good pair of Audio Technica closed headphones, some top-produced prog rock albums and pop albums (using RCMix 3D Runny).
So.. what music do you listen to?
Cheers,
Dan.

+1 here,
also another note am using Sure SE115's
Beats is OK but SRS so much better for sound,
but what tops them both is CM7 and DSP, talk about sound repoduction and tailored just how you want it, have been a cm7 convert just because of this
Listen to R&B
But I prefer SRS through ear phones, better sound IMO.

I'm wondering whether it's only good through Beats headphones!
If so, Dre will be making a fair dollar!
IMHO DSP is far better than anything else. Beats is the lowest of the crappiest out there. The only thing that Beats audio processing sounds remotely good with is beats headphones.
I don't have beats... DSP manager + PowerAmp, even $20-ish headphones would sound like a $100 headphone with those two on
I listen to metal primarily, so I'm not in need of heavy bass.
I knew it... Beats only an EQ curve?!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18412181&postcount=6241
Anything but country haha
I use PowerAMP and i listen to : Hardstyle, Hard Trance, Dark Electro , Industrial, Hard Techno ( known as a Shranz ) Happy Hardcore's and softer version of above.
And some Rock/Metal/Punk
DSP is the way to go
I listen to house, electronic house, dubstep
And I find that with earphones in SRS is that way to go and using speaker phone, beats. (runny3.0)
rock and metal
Some dubstep and rock, little bit of house
To be honest I like it. It may just be an eq curve on the Dhd but what did you expect, its not like its gonna change the hardware is it. dunno about anyone else experience but for me its much better than srs or dolby with stock headphones.
PS anyone saying its just an eq curve, its been proven not to be on beats enabled phones by Engadget.they've tested it with no beats on and with beats enabled with both regular headphones and beats headphones and that there I'd most certainly a difference, maybe not enough to justify the pr drive that HTC are doing, but its certainly more than just any old equalizer settings
How do you set DSp settings? As in what setting should i use lol I use poweramp

[Q] Loss of audio quality on custom roms

Hi, first time android owner here. I recently switched to the CM nightly builds, which I am loving, however I have noticed the audio quality has dropped of dramatically since switching from the standard oppo fw. Now I am streaming my music from google play which AFAIK was unaffected by the dolby sound and the dirac audio features of the oppo ROM. Is this something that should be expected? Its bad enough that Id rather not listen to music at all. Also is there a possibility of porting the audio features of the standard Oppo ROM to the current CM builds?
At this point I think id rather use a buggy, less functional oppo rom with great sound quality and that just sucks:crying:
I'm a music lover and have pretty good ears, I really like cm10.1 and other roms but the reason I left it (besides being a beta tester) is because of lag that happens after a few hours and also because of the issue with audio quality. Yeah it looses quality. Oh and camera quality as well
Sent from my Oppo Find 5
I haven't noticed much of a drop in quality, but I didn't stay on stock for long. Maybe I'll switch back to stock on the next beta and see what the audio and camera are like. I have no camera on my current ROM.
Sent from my Find 5 using Tapatalk 2
I should mention I'm also streaming over blue tooth when making this comparison.

Well didi you try to listen music with different earphones ? Shipped earphones can only work ith dirac "ON".
I tryed to use Oppo earphones on HTC and they sounds poor. Also I found poor sounding Find 5 with HTC beats audio earphones.
If you find some conclusion pls let me know, because I'm not willing to use custom rom ..... for now. :victory:

Oppo is champ !!! But they(OPPO & DIRAC) made calibration with shipped earphones.
When u use other earphones u must disable DIRAC
otherwise sound is crap.
DIRAC sounds good only with shipped earphones and far far better than anything eles !

Sounds like Dirac is nothing more than marketing bull**** to describe an EQ preset that works around crummy earphones... Kinda like HTC's Beats Audio (which is just a crappy EQ preset too).

It's not bull.... and for sure this is not just an EQ preset like HTCs Beats Audio.
Most of brands use branded cost effective solution (EQ based) to impress customers but Oppo does not.
DIRAC correct phase to firms up the bass, removes resonances, focuses the stereo image and makes voices stand out like you never have heard them before.

All marketing mumbojumbo for "cheesy postprocessing and/or lame EQ preset"
The fact that it only works to "fix" Oppo's cheap earbuds is a clear sign that it is just an EQ preset designed to compensate for the deficiencies of cheap earbuds.
All of the research I've read indicates that DIRAC serves to do only one thing: Compensate for cheapo earbuds to make them sound better. It will make good earbuds/earphones sound like crap, and is unncessary with them.

It's pointless to waste time working around crappy cheap OEM buds.
Edit: In general, Comply foam tips are one of the best "bang for your buck" upgrades for any earbud (except ones that already have foam tips)
Yeah, honestly, this crap is like the same BS they pull with Pixel count in cell cameras.
I have some very nice Westone buds that sound amazing on any phone I've had. Turn off all the garbage and you get yourself a hell of an audio experience. These guys feel like they have to provide some audio gem in name because these bloody devices are phones, not good quality audio gear. If you want to bump your audio experience, go get a portable amp and melt your brain.
The Oppo and CM sound great. Only need I have for the DSP is to tweak the sound of the speaker for voice calls.
Is there a different type of bluetooth used by cm compared to stock Oppo ROM? I read something about different compression formats like apt-x. Perhaps cm just needs a bluetooth overhaul.

I used to have the s3 and apt x enables headphones and the sound quality is just on another level! Standard bluetooth SBC suports stereo up to 345kbps but idk why, for the most part, they end up sounding bad in most cases. Apt-x lets better audio pass though with minimal compression.

now for dirac, it may just be an eq thing but idk. speaker sound much better with audio calls and just playing music. there is bass, and mids added (looking like an eq thing as of now). When it comes to music listening, without any mod, cm10 doesnt sound that great. With the V4A sound mod, it sounds really good. V4A sound mod on stock rom helps but not too much. IDk what oppo has done, butif there is no specific hardware thing within the phone that is activated with any rom, then i guess it;s an eq thing? anyone correct me if im wrong

I'm positive it's an EQ thing. Might be able to achieve similar results by playing with DSP Manager
I feel like the audio quality improved on the external speaker with cm10.1

I'm having big battery issues with my Galaxy S2 and was considering the switch to the Find5, the good sound quality being one of the strongest argument for me so the fact that Dirac is only an EQ to compensate crappy earbuds is kinda bumping me out
A long long time ago I used to listen to music on a iAudio X5 / Shure E4g combo, with great quality (the integrated EQ helped, but still wow, great sound). Now I'm on the GS2, and it's fine with a pair of Ultimate Ears 400vi but I'm not coming back to crappy earbuds, so if the only plus of the Find5 in the audio corner besides the speaker is an EQ then I guess I'll have to wait until the next big cheap thing
What do you think? Considering Oppo opened its sources from the start is it possible that the sound capabilities of the stock rom get ported to other roms like CM?

took your statement and did a test myself on stock rom and on firefly (international) , found some good music and hooked up the stock headset in the find 5, sounds great with DIRAC , as you said, then switched headset after have playing music in a periode, then tested with DIRAC enabled on my beats audio headset (stock from htc sensation xl), and sound was still really good, not much diffrent, only beats had more bass , but that headset is also a inear headset, which usually gives more bass.
Then just today, after flashing a codefireXperimental rom, as name say, not released at all, and then tested both headsets again, this time, ofc without DIRAC, but nothing else, no audio mods at all. and stock headset is a little bit more bad in cfxp than in stock with DIRAC, but not at all as in other custom roms ive tried. then switched to beats headset, very little diffrent here, from stock rom with DIRAC and now in custom rom.
After all, i think that audio quality ,cant only be blamed at DIRAC , if you look in this link , its pretty impressive who uses DIRAC, so im sure its not crap only

Thats not true, it works fine without DIRAC enabled, and after testing my own beats headset with dirac and without in custom roms, i dont hear at all that the sound is more bad with Dirac than it is without, infact i like the audio more with my find 5 and beats audio, even in cfxp, than i do with beats audio on my htc sensation xl.

Z2 headphone sound quality (with mod) vs. M8

Hi all,
I currently own the m8 and love it for its awesome sound quality, however the camera is absolute pants!
The only other phone I'd consider is the z2 but I am worried that the volume and sound quality via headphones will be disappointing. Can anyone tell me if the z2 with the sound mod will be as good as the m8?
Thanks

I would admit loudspeakers are not as good as M8. But with the headphones, its so much better, background noise is cancelled out thus youre getting more out of your music. Bass and stuff. And its comfortable too. Just a small tip, try listening to music on landscape while on loudspeaker, magically improves music experience. No tricks, no software magic. Just how your ear works. Try it!

When I first purchased the phone I was very disappointed with the sound quality coming from a Wolfson Galaxy S3. Now with RomAur (Beats + Sound Mod + Viper) and Doomkernel (Faux Sound) I am very happy.
I use a combination of Faux/Viper/Walkman settings in combination with the preinstalled Beats and Z2 Sound Mod and the audio quality now rivals my S3 and surpassed my HTC One M7 (via my Sony ZX-600 headphones). Can't speak for the M8 sadly.
TLR - Z2 sound quality stock is disappointing. With mods it's great.
Regards.
Both phones use the same DAC. The difference in sound comes from software and the headphone port. The Z2 has a nice black background, so its headphone port must be decent. It also has a very nice bass boost in its built in equalizer, which works in any music app and not just the Walkman app. The reason I like the bass boost is because it boosts the lower end more than the higher end bass, so it doesn't bleed into the mids. I don't use the Clear Audio+ option as it just increases the treble but also narrows the soundstage.
The included IEMs are also very decent for bundled earphones. They have a nice flat frequency response but can also give punchy bass when you make them. They have decent instrument separation as well. They could maybe do with a little more clarity, but that's all really. The noise cancelling also works really well.
I've never had the privilege of listening to any Wolfson DACs, but the DAC inside my Z2 sounds quite comparable to the Texas Instruments DAC inside my JDS Labs C5D. It's to do with taste more than anything at this point. Again, the DACs in the M8 and Z2 are the same, so they shouldn't sound too different with software tweaks off. Can you not just try one out in a store anyway?

Im using z2. Sound mod with headphones enchanting is not working for me. Its comes bugging noises. So i do prefer using sound mod without headphone enchanted. For m8 i cannot tell. But for my z2, i fully satisfy. Amazing sound with my sennheiser ie-80. Deep and detail bass. Good for easy listening. The trebles is smooth. And great Vocal too. Over all surpassing my htc one sc. Im using original rom v 314. Doomkernel v10. And yes i prefer sound enchantment than clear audio +. Ram, camera, sound, waterproof. Its comparable device for me.
Can confirm that the sound quality you get out of the box is very good, playing with the eq settings makes it even better. It's noticeable better than the Z1.
I'm using the A-Jays Three earphones and I'm really pleased although I'm wondering if getting the noice cancelling earphones would give me a even better experience.
Are they worth getting it?

For noise canceling they are great, sound quality is OK but not the best you can buy.
Sound on my Z2 is quite decent with the official ROM, however if you flash CM and that would be gone instantly and the volume will be very low.
I prefer using headphones over loudspeaker anyways but it would be better with a Mod, can someone post a link to a thread or something?
Thanks.
Well I don't really like the sound and noise cancelling on the official Sony Rom!
You really have to tweak it to be good.
The really best wound comes when you have a CM Rom installed and the equalizer set to Rock! It's is fantastic for any type of music. And If you want it louder there is mod for that...
No noise cancelling, clear sound, Beats... whatever, can "beat" the sound that come out a CM rom... in my opinion of course...

If you can have custom recovery without unlocking bootloader. The answer is no needed. Because u need to flash zip with cwmr/twrp. Try to search xda forum about that. I lost my drm key and unlocking my bootloader on the first day this phone come out the box. So i never try to find out about that. And im using doom kernel v10 now.

Yes I have custom recovery, thanks

I started stock... the speakers were decent but just not loud enough for me
Then I bought the noise-canceling earphones and they made a world of difference
Still not satisfied I rooted, unlocked bootloader, and installed CM11
I just found it a little buggy and went back stock...
Then rooted again and installed SOUNDMOD by olokos
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2758189
Bought MDR-XB90EX earbuds
http://www.amazon.com/MDR-XB90EX-In...ie=UTF8&qid=1412894172&sr=8-1&keywords=xb90ex
Almost everything is perfect except for two things:
1) I get a crackling with Hangouts notifications (not all the time, comes randomly)
2) Call quality on the earpiece is SO quiet. Speakers sound great.
I dont know why. But other mod make my sq getting worse. Still using pure audio and stock now. Tried z2 mod by olokos. Got bugging noises. Tried m8 mod. Got breaking sound for sub.
Also tried sirius soundmod last night. And got same issue. Annoyingly noises came after installed.
I'm using noice cancelling headset with viper4android and fauxsound. It's enough for me.

[ GUIDE ] Get the most of your Nexus 6 sound experience!

I'm a novice sound engineer and i have been learning and reading about audio engineering since last 3 years and now music is my life , i LOVE to listen to the music all the time and I'm tend to hear the best quality i can get..
when i buy a phone the first thing i look for is the sound experience of this phone
i don't usually focus on the speakers , i only focus for the output audio jack
i love android and to be honest i hate iphone or iOS in particular .
I've noticed that Iphone can producer a decent sound quality than the most of android devices ! i was very sad since I've noticed that because i will never own iphone whatever happened
and I've searched online for how to improve my device sound quality and i found a lot of solutions !
the best thing that we all already know is Viper4android , Yes we agree on that
viper can give me A LOT of audio modifications with no doubt and with the best settings you get you Finlay will be happy listening to your music but.. viper can producer an enhanced sound with limits !
th loudness cant be that good .. you increase the Gain and you will hear the distortion in your hear
the definition of distortion is simply when you pushing beyond 0db +1db means distortion and you don't wanna hear that
so my target became like that ..
1- get a HIGH and LOUD audio without pushing my audio beyond 0db
2-get a Good audio quality
of course you cant achieve that without having a decent ( earphone - headphones ) and in my opinion try to avoid any unknown brands you can get cheaply in your city market
I'm using my headset Audio-Technica M50x and i love it so much because its a Monitor nit HiFi headset
thats mean its producer a FLAT style audio without any modification at all
HiFi means the opposite
i use a HiFi in my earphones like Skullcandy and sennheiser while I'm out
so this is what Ive tried and what i can recommend for you
Skullcand smokin buds 2 (( cheap + good bass + Loud enough + Normal sound quality ))
Skullcandy 50/50 (( Very good bass + Loud enough + Normal sound quality ))
sennheiser cx200 (( Cheap + Normal loudness + High sound Quality + Perfect bass ))
sennheiser cx300 (( Cheap + Loud enough + Perfect sound quality + Perfect bass ))
and of course th Audio-Technica M50x For the best sound experience i,ve ever had
its VERY LOUD and AWESOME BASS and the sound quality is super but its not very chap
now you've got the right earphone or headset , now this what you should do in my opinion ..
1- install any good kernel you like in your nexus 6 that ca allow you to run a Kernel Adiutor app
2- install Kernel Adiutor from playstore
3- use power AMP as your main music player ( the best music player you can find in android )
WARNING --- you can harm your earphone or your headset if you raised the volume much and you can even hurt your ears so please be careful ---
no you decrees the volume in your device to the half and play the best song you like in power amp and listen to it while you are going to the Sound tap in Kernel Adiutor
and Gently increase the Volume gain .. it will make the sound louder and louder but don't go to the max ... gently increase 1 by one by 1 till you find the perfect sound with no distortion
go to your powerAMP and head to the equalizer and DON'T shape it like a crazy! just make a little changes ( look at the picture ) because PowerAMP will compress your music if you made something crazy like if you increased the 16khz band all to the top
it will give you what you want , a very sharp high ( hats and treble ) but you will loose the mid ( the singer voice for example ) and the Low as well ( bass and bassline )
so take it easy while adjusting these knobs
PowerAMP will give another 2 knobs ( BASS and TREBLE ) yes they are very useful but don't ever get across the 30% to avoid the compressing !
and to make sure that you don't want to ruined your music just enable the Limit button
it will prevent you from crossing the 0db
Now go to the PowerAMP settings-->Audio--->Advanced tweaks menu and make sure they are like this picture
and remember --- your volume was just 50% and you now have amazing loudness
so don't make it higher till you are sure that your headset CAN take more
and please don't harm your ears...
try to listen to a decent music type like House and Trance so u can experience your headset or earphone
i hope that i helped and Sorry for my very bad English :fingers-crossed:
I cannot see the pics good at all

What about a good and cheap BT???
What is power amp ? Is it better than V4A ? V4A is pretty decent, but with Dolby Atmos that really dials it in even more.

Power amp is the normal go to audio player for those that wont rely on cloud based music.

well , V4A it just a Audio engine and it cannot play the music without an music player , Power amp count as a Music player with engine inside of it , you have many music players in Play store but not all of then has an integrated Music engine
and with all respect for Dolby , but it cant produce a decent gain and yes you can get much more bass but this is will cost you some of your loudness

Audio quality

Hi experts,
I'm a long time Xiaomi user coming from Mi A1 thinking to buy this Mi 9T in US.
I'm not to happy with the A1 audio quality, especially over the headphones. I tried different brands, but not much luck. My GF has a note6pro, my family 5a..
Looking at the gsmarena site they are not impressed too with headphone test on this model, not sure it can be trusted though.
My main concern is the microphone and echo/noise canceling.
Can you guys give me a "real life review"?!
Check other thread, there many other (me included) confirm audio quality is suprisingly good, contrary to rumors. Maybe updates improved it?
I can say it is just as good as my amazing LG V20 with quad DAC! And the LG V series are the bechmark when it comes to android audio quality.
Only my problem is that volume is low, but AFAIK that is EU regulations, and should be easy to hack/fix, and would not apply anyway AFAIK for US version.
Just got my Mi 9T, and it is just STUNNING! A piece of art. I still catch myself staring at its beauty.
I would like to know about this too. And once again, there is NO EU regulation limiting volume. Manufacturers are meant to warn users when the volume is getting loud so they can confirm they want to proceed. If the phone companies can't read the rules, that's not the EU's fault. Enough with the fake news.
There's two modes of audio in the 9t "hi-fi" or regular.
I think that the option it's meant to switch from the audio chip modes, regular or performance (I think it's the best chip it has Qualcomm for audio, or at least they made it sound like that).
This performance mode uses more power, like 5 times more, and I am almost certain that gsmarena reviewed it without this setting on, that's why the poor results.
Look at this for more info of the chip.

Interesting for the consuption I didn't know ! and I can confirm that the sound quality is very good.
For the volume mine is very loud, impossible to put at max but it depend of your earphones impedance and many others things. (you have to play good quality sample music like FLAC and a good player like "AIMP" or "Poweramp" that can be "bit perfect"
Yes, I did a blind test against my creative Sound Blaster E1 (the phone supports DACs over USB C as well) and it is indistinguishable from that nice and proper DAC, IN THE HI-FI MODE. The source was lossless stuff from Tidal and the earbuds used were my trusty HiFiMan RE400a earbuds. I can verify that one has to listen at like two clicks below the full volume for everything to come through (i.e. the volume is a bit low, but baseline audio performance is excellent)

I would be also interested in the microphone handling in the topic of Audit quality. On Mi A1 ppl always complained when I was using a headset as the noise canceling part did not work. Same for Speaker mode..
Also why "Hi-Fi audio" is not on by default as it claims to increase audio quality.
Regarding the phone calls I can tell that my factory set 9T is poor. I cannot hear and understand what people say when calling. (Never had this on any phone before) Weird sound and some echo. And nowhere any audio settings in phone.

I don't have that problem. Phone calls are clear
Regarding audio quality over a headphone jack = it is worst audio quality I have ever tested from any smartphone be honest. I also know people who see it the same way. I went to Mi9T from Pocophone and never had this issue there - poco is still in my house, I gave it to my wife so I can really compare between the two. Tried both normal and hi-fi modes on Mi9T.
Audio over BT is fine on other hand - thats most important for me
I was testing audio quality on SONY WH-1000MX3
What could be the reason for this I dont know. The audio chip should be great. I have tried many versions of MIUI as well.
Tested right now with Beyerdynamic dt770 Pro 250 Ohm version. My source file is from deezer to have a better idea of an average quality of a song someone might listen to.
Hi-Fi is enabled and i can say that audio quality is pretty good. I wouldn't compare it to LG Quad Dac but the phone is powering 250 Ohm studio headphones very well.
People usually evaluate audio quality by the amount of bass. IMO its good enough.
@Nexus5-32GB I have the same impression. I came from a Zuk Z2 Pro and audio quality is poor. Bass is OK but mids and treble are too high. I'm using the same Senheiser MX-30G as always and the difference is noticiable even in Hi-Fi. My wife's Redmi 4A have better sound.
I am using poweramp music player to listen to music, and the audio quality is just superb! Previously I used google play music with mi sound enhancer and the audio quality is pretty mediocre compared to poweramp.
I tested hifi with AudioTechnica M50. It does make a difference and I feel it is a lot louder so much that I'm afraid of pushing volume to max. I like my hearing very much. You don't need portable amps with this phone for the most part. It's probably not audiophile approved or something like that but it sounds very full.

What player are you using?
Using Google play the sound it's ****.
Using Tidal it's heaven, don't know why.
Exactly, if you use it right the sound is very good but if you listen mp3 with googlemusic, sure the best earphones can't do anything for you

I don't think it's a player issue 'cause I always use the same player. I always compare the sound using Spotify. I use Spotify on all my family devices.

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense, I know, but in my case that happend, playing throug play music was horrible and understandable that people complain about it, but with Tidal it's beyond anything i've heard.
Other users have notified that they too notice when playing through play music.
actually is awesome

Coming from a zte axon 7 I was really doubtful about the sound quality, but I'm impressed about it, it has a hifi logo on the box and sounds really good, with a couple of good headphones I can't listen no difference with the zte axon 7, also had a poco f1 and it sounds a thousand times better than the poco
