I have (mindlessly) locked myself out of Huawei P8 GRA-L09 phone. I disabled Keypad now unable to key in password to unlock password screen. Is there a way around this without having to reset phone and lose all data? Any help to resolve this is appreciated. The phone IS NOT in a boot loop; it accepts calls and messages, if that helps.

I enabled the encryption on my unrooted unlocked G2. Once the encryption was done, it rebooted and asked for the pin to boot. In entered the pin but the phone keeps rebooting and asking for the pin again and again.
I have tried more than 20 times, sometimes it boots to android but it shows a warning sign in notification (backup account needed) and then reboots after a few seconds. I tried turning on/off but the same thing happens again.
Is there anyway I can get my data out of this mess before doing a factory reset? Maybe rooting it from download mode and mounting from recovery?

Hi guys, I restore my Huawei p9 lite ins-l31 from security settings, but now when I turn on it, it stuck on Enhanced wifi. If I deny or accept, google screen appear for 1sec than close. how can I skip that step? I've bootloader locked.

I installed DP2 today via OTA (fully stock, locked bootloader) on restart I have to enter my password to boot/unecrypt. When the phone is started I have to type in the password as fingerprint won't work after restarting.... at this point the screen goes blank and drops me back to the lock screen. I know it is the correct password as there is no error and it is the same password I booted with.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I think it will be a factory reset for me! (

I reset my phone and am very pleased that the google backup is so much more fully featured these days.
I think that the issue may have been caused by my companies MDM software as there was an alert / notification I could not read/action.
All working nicely on dp2 now

hi everyone i recently replaced my screen on my s8 so i turned it on put in my pin but it would not except it i tried many diffrent variation of what my pin could be but i still can't boot past the your phone is encrypted for security to start up your device enter your pin screen adb debugging is not enabled its not been rooted or have unlocked bootloader but i can stil get into recovery and download mode i know i can do a wipe data factory reset but i need to keep my data can anybody help
