you don't need to unlock.
just root by framaroot-1.9.3.apk application.
after that, install twrp.apk
then install twrp.img and end without unlock bootloader.
tada.

How to uninstall CWM from Huawei P8, B200, rolled back from MM

I don't have an unlocked bootloader and i flashed the CWM. Now when i try to enter the recovery mode with buttons, nothing happens just turns the phone on normally. I searched for stock recoveries, but didn't found nothing.
I have GRA-L09, B200, Europe Open
Thanks for help!
To get an unlocked bootloader you must go to settings> about phone> build number
and then press build number 7 times
after you did that exit out of about phone then click on the newly-appeared 'developer settings'
there you should find OEM Unlocking and Enable USB Debugging
You'll get it from there.
I have the Dev Ops, but don't have OEM unlock.
But shouldn't you already have an unlocked bootloader to have DevOps?
Don't know. I don't typed any code in to unlock bootloader.
Are you sure you have DevOps?
---------- Post added at 01:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:55 PM ----------
And also try to do it not with buttons, but with your computer
I don't know the script for how to boot into recovery mode but to fastboot, for example, you'd type in >fastboot
when your phone is connected to your PC via USB.
Y'know, just search up 'How to use Recovery Mode' - maybe you just did it wrong
Didn't tryed it w/ adb yet.
ADB didn't worked. I'm trying a full hard reset..
Hard reset didn't do nothing. HELP PLS!!
adb reboot-bootloader worked, but it has a subtitle: Phone Locked (with red). What is it?

That means you have a locked bootloader, so CWM didn't install successfully.
In other words, you need to unlock the bootloader first in order to successfully install CWM.
So, 1st step - visit the Huawei unlocking code request page, taking your time to fill in the form accurately & submit it.
[Btw, if you don't already have a Huawei ID, you can register for one here: http://www-file.huawei.com/en/my-huawei/register
Then use these login details in the above link to request for the unlock code]
2nd step: Once you receive the unlock code from them, use it to unlock the bootloader by issuing the following command in fastboot mode [the asterisks (*) represent your 16-digit unlock code]:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock ****************
Now you can attempt to install CWM. Where are you getting the CWM img file from?

Ok, so it appears you may have corrupted the recovery partition.
Is the phone otherwise booting into the system & functioning normally?
Also, can you tell us what you are wanting to ultimately achieve by installing CWM?
Just to confirm the bootloader is unlocked, run this command in fastboot mode & let us know the result:
Code:
fastboot oem get-bootinfo
Ok, I just read your post in the other thread about wanting to update B200 to B370.

Early flashed the CWM with flashify succesfully, but don't have unlocked bootloader. And if i try to enter recovery mode, nothing happens. Is it possible, that i cant' install it because of this?

As the guys already said, you do not need to install anything in order to update an official rom.
So, let's leave out CWM, bootloaders, etc for now, & help you update only from B200.
When you try using TopperBG's method to update, what happens?
What is your current FULL firmware version? It will be in this format: GRA-L09CxxxB200 - if everything else is as I've mentioned, I'm interested in the Cxxx part.

1. You need to install stock recovery for android 5(unlocked bootloader is required).
2. Then you can use the dload method to update.
3. You can flash TWRP after that because no-one uses CWM.

Can't downgrade back to Nougat.

I want to downgrade back to the last version of the sprint nougat firmware. I want to use the phone as my daily driver again, I cannot afford to have any surprise bugs that a beta oreo might bring.
1 - I am using a mac that is currently updated to macOs High Sierra 10.13.3
2 - I have the latest android platform tools downloaded released in december
3 - I have no problems executing ./adb devices or ./adb reboot bootloader commands
4 - I have no problems executing ./fastboot devices or ./fastboot flashing unlock/./fastboot flashing lock commands
5 - I cannot how ever execute the ./flashall.sh command when I do it returns the message permission denied.
The phone is currently on the latest oreo beta build, I have tried every firmware that has been listed on essentials dev page. Each time I try ./flashall.sh I get permission denied. I have reached out to essential for the guide to downgrading but when you have an actual problem their response time seems to increase 10 fold.
6 - To upgrade to the beta I used the side load method, I put the phone in to recovery mode and select the apply update from adb. In the terminal I would run ./adb flash update.zip.(I changed the firmware name to update.zip)
7 - Can the apply update from adb method work to downgrade to an earlier firmware, I want to try but I dont want to risk bricking the phone. Then I will have a titanium and ceramic paper weight for my desk .

You need to unlock the boot loader.
You will need to go into developer mode and check the oem unlock.
In fast boot you need to unlock and unlock_critical.
They you should be able to revert.

Awesome, no where in essentials guide does it ever mention unlock_critical, all it says it to use fastboot flashing unlock. Even then it still says permission denied. After I unlock the bootloader i will go back to the fastboot menu and the run ./fastboot flashing unlock_critical or is it ./fastboot unlock_critical

open terminal set directory to required folder
./adb devices- recognizes phone and shows model number
./adb reboot bootloader- executes no problem now in fastboot mode
./fastboot devices- recognizes device and show model number
./fastboot flashing unlock-prompt screen shows on PH-1 select yes for unlocking bootloader
Do a quick set up and get back to the fastboot screen.
./fastboot flashing unlock_critical-prompt screen shows on PH-1 select yes for unlocking bootloader
Do a quick set up again, get back to the fastboot screen
./flashall.sh-permission denied
In the fastboot menu on the phone it says status is unlocked. Up next the spectacular smashing on a essential phone with a hammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Solved] Huawei P9 Lite Bricked

Hello, I was curious if anyone could help me with unbricking my phone, my phone has no custom recovery installed, the bootloader is apparently unlocked (OEM unlocking is disabled), FRP lock is enabled, I cannot flash anything (Command not allowed), relock bootloader (Root type is at risk), Unlock bootloader (Command not allowed), any help would be appreciated.
Edit: I also cannot boot a from a recovery img locally using fastboot (Command not allowed)
EDIT: Fixed it using DC Pheonix and flashing VNS-L22C636B140 OEMINFO and flashing B160
Hi, try my way. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77307223&postcount=30 Just pick CxxxBxxx that suits your model. Try to unlock bootloader again via SRKTool, I think FRP must be unlocked too...

Are you sure you run from inside the folder where adb.exe and fastboot.exe is? Boot to bootloader and use terminal pointed to fastboot.exe. Shift+right click -> open command line here. Make sure your devices is listed: adb devices. If device is shown: adb reboot bootloader, to reboot to bootloader. If not, install adb drivers / huawei drivers.

Yes I am sure, also, I have no way to access ADB since there is no recovery on the phone.
Only thing I can do is boot to that eRecovery screen with the option to download, reboot or shutdown. (Automatticly goes to here), or boot to bootloader

Well if you can access to bootloader then you able to use fastboot commands. ADB is not related to recovery anyhow, you use windows command prompt to use adb and fastboot. IF FRP is locked, unlock bootloader again. I quiet don't understand how the command are not allowed or so. You are definitely doing something wrong.

The problem is I cannot unlock bootloader again, flash anything or boot into any image in fastboot mode, I always get "ERROR: (Command not allowed)", attempting to relock the bootloader shows "ERROR: (Root type is at risk)"
EDIT: I have done some research for the dload method, If I want to dload to hopefully fix it, I'll need VNS-L22C636B381, but the official link from the hicloud is dead, if anyone could help me with that, that'd be great.
Last EDIT: Ended up scratching the above idea as it didn't work, gritted my teeth as I bought DC Phoenix and will update if it works out with the .APP from the latest package I found on firmware finder.

Files you need (P10 Lite): https://mega.nz/#F!TNQiFDrS!LeWgM5bukSz66UEL5zE1Tg
Part 1 - Unlock Bootloader:
Full guide how to unlock your Bootloader via DC-Unlocker or HCU Client - https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7x/how-to/how-to-unlock-huawei-bootloader-removal-t3780903
* If you use HCU Client then TURN OFF your Antivirus because it detects parts of the program as a Trojan! But don't worry, it's safe!
Also see this tutorial here - http://hcu-client.com/read-bootloader-code-huawei-phone/
Install ADB drivers (adb-setup-1.4.3.exe)
Once you get the unlock code turn OFF the phone, press and hold only VOL DONW and connect it to PC via USB cable.
The phone will boot in to Bootloader mode.
Open PowerShell or CMD window and use this command:
fastboot oem unlock <your_unlock_code>
On the phone choose YES with the buttons and bootloader will unlock.
The phone will be factory reseted!!!
Part 2 - Root the phone:
Go to Settings -> System -> About Phone -> Click 7-8 times on the Build Number (until you see a message that you're developer)
Go to Settings -> System -> Developer options -> Enable USB Debugging
Turn OFF your Phone, press and hold VOL Down and connect it to the PC via USB cable.
The phone will boot in to Bootloader mode, but this time you will see this:
Bootloader: Unlocked
FRP: Unlocked
Open PowerShell or CMD window and use this command:
fastboot flash ramdisk patched_boot.img
fastboot reboot
That's all. Your phone is rooted with Magisk!
If you need just install latest Magisk Manager.
patched_boot.img is patched stock RAMDISK.img (boot file)
REMEMBER:
1. You CAN NOT install OTA update if you phone is rooted (during instalation gives error)
2. You CAN install only FullOTA update but you will lose the root
3. After every system update (FullOTA) you should run the phone to Bootloader mode and flash patched_boot.img again if you want root

This is unlock bootloader + root.
If you want rooted stock rom, then root is just one simple step: fastboot flash ramdisk patched_boot.img
There is no free way to unlock bootloader.
If you want to install custom roms then flash TWRP:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk TWRP.img
But DO NOT flash Pretoriano80's TWRP because it's for stock rom only and isn't support custom roms!!!
Maybe try this:
Haky86's TWRP - https://www.haky86.com/hi6250/twrp-emui-8-hi6250/
Haky86's Android 9.0 - https://www.haky86.com/hi6250/emui-8-hi6250/

You are going to screw up your phone in this learning process .Unless you have another phone and this p10 is your 2nd phone then you can try & error .No matter what you must open yr bootloader to proceed next step .Means additional cost for sure .
Good luck
Well, I asked for huawei support for unlock code. I had to send them details and I got the code in almost a month
Hey there guys! Is it still available to get the code directly from huawei? How could I request them the code? I recently received this phone as present and it is as it came from factory but i want to install custom roms in my P10 lite is it still possible?
Thanks in advance for your help, I really wouldn't like to screw up my new phone! Cheers!
