5. Add the downloaded files to the folder "HWOTA \ Update" and run the .cmd file, it will rename them automatically according to the template:

Return to Stock Rom D803 from Kit Kat Rom

Hoping I could get this finally resolved with a little bit of help. I'm running a Kit Kat Rom (Mahdi Rom) and trying to revert back to Stock 4.2.2.
I've tried countless scenarios and i keep getting 2 problems. The First is:
When im in R&D Test Tool and run Normal Upgrade test and "Upgrade Start". I cannot select a language to select it's blank.
After i proceed i get the following problem " i get stuck on 49% and it starts all over again" it wont pass that state
I've tried both of these methods and ran all files as Admin
How to flash ROM:
The Files are Hosted on my server for fast speeds!
1). Download all The Files Below!
1.2). Firmware Files are HERE!
1.3). Download R&D FlashTool & Other Files :Here
1.4).Download Drivers HERE!

4. go to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX
remove all files and folder
5. copy all files and folders from LGMOBILEAX that you unzip from step2 to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX
Method 1. work with vbs script
1. run Automatic Offline Procedure.vbs in \LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix folder
2. now R&D test tools appear please select KDZ File
3. select Normal web upgrade test
4. Select Upgrade start
5. In Select Country & Langauage Please Select Country to Different Country (do not worry if does not has Langauage to select )

[Tutorial] - How to install any firmware using Windows Device Recovery Tool

It worked for me, it might work for you. Do it at your own risk.
Windows Device Recovery Tool (WDRT) will download and install only the latest version of the software available for your device.
This tutorial will show you how to use WDRT to install ANY firmware version you want on your windows phone device.
That is, you can upgrade or downgrade. For example, go from wp 10 to wp 8.0, or from wp 8.1 to wp 8.0, or whatever you want.
Here is how to use Windows Device Recovery Tool to install any firmware released for your model:
I try to ilustrate the process in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnLQ_u4kF7E
STEPS:
0) Download the firmware you want to install (only the .ffu file)
1) Let WDRT downloads the last firmware version for your model (that's what it does). When the download is completed, close the program before the installation starts. You don't have to have the last firmware version installed on your phone, but you have to have it on the WDRT folder.
2) Go to the location where WDRT stores the files: c:/programdata/microsoft/packages/products/
3) Duplicate the folder "RM-xxx" (your model) containing the files WDRT downloaded. You'll have two folders with the same content, like "RM-xxx" and "ARM-xxx", for example.
4) Go back to the place where the .ffu file you want to install is and copy it.
5) Enter the "ARM-xxx" folder and paste the .ffu file.
5) Now you have two .ffu files in "ARM-xxx" folder. Copy the name of the original .ffu file that was already there before you paste the other .ffu file and delete it (the original one).
6) Rename the .ffu file you've just pasted with the name you just copied.
5) Open WDRT, select your phone, and click install/reinstall. After the program checks the compatibility of the files, the message "switching the phone to flashing mode" will apear, as soon as it happens, go back to the "Products" folder and rename the folder "RM-xxx" to something else, like "RM-xxxA, and rename the folder "ARM-xxx" to "RM-xxx". This has to be done quickly, before the installation starts.
6) If everything is OK, the installation will start and you'll have your firmware installed.
With this method i finally got my lumia 620 working again, after the touch screen stopped working due to an accidentally upgrade. I couldn't use any other method because both my lumia volume buttons are broken, so the flashing process needed to be automatic.
If you have rm-1073 att lumia 640 it will not work because of the cid checks within the flashing. Otherwise any other one should work fine
cannot pass the checks

Android 7.0 on P9 lite

I found a site with a tutorial on how to install Android 7.0 on P9 lite.On version VNS-L31C636B361 there are 3 files, and acording to them, you need to follow these steps:
Extract the contents of the zip files you downloaded from above.
Create a folder named “dload” in the root directory of your device’s SDcard.
Copy all the extracted contents of the zips into the dload folder.
Open the dialer app and dial *#*# 2846579#*# *
Select Project Menu > Software upgrade > SDcard upgrade > confirm the installation.
The firmware will begin installing and once that is done your device will reboot automatically.
But the problem is, if I extract all the contents from all 3 files, some of them have the same name and overwrite, and when I try to install by *#*# 2846579#*# *, it stops after 5% and gives me fail error.
What is the correct way to install and why are there 3 separate files ? (also, do I need to have some settings ? the phone should be connected to PC while installing ? )
Thank you very much!
What model you have?
Seems you have another oeminfo...
i have the same problem, it runs now on version vns-l31c432b161, if a want to install android 7 i get the same message as above

EDIT: i tried again and it stucks on 5%, doesnt say anything.
Good to know!
If you are in MM 6.0 you can not go to Nougat 7.0 without some preparation until Huawei release official version.
I you are already in Nougat 7.0 (B3xx) you can go to B360-B361, directly with Sdcard upgrade or with three keys pressed method.
U dint answer my question though.Let me be more clear.
Here is a tutorial on how to install Android 7.0 on P9 Lite: http://www.droidviews.com/update-huawei-p9-lite-manually-official-android-7-0-nougat-emui-5-0/
On my model, there are 3 files:
4. VNS-L31C636B361
update.zip
update_data_full_VNS-L31_B360_hw_meafnaf.zip
update_data_full_VNS-L31_B361_hw_meafnaf.zip
and they say
Extract the contents of the zip files you downloaded from above.
Create a folder named “dload” in the root directory of your device’s SDcard.
Copy all the extracted contents of the zips into the dload folder.
But some of the files from these 3 .zips have the same name, and when I copy them in the same folder, they overwrite.
Is that tutorial sh1t ?

Upgrading P8 from B118

Hi guys, so I am relatively new to customising your phone and was wondering if someone could explain whether it is possible to upgrade from my current version (GRA-L09V100R001C900B118), as when I use the phone to check for any updates it says there are none available.
I have read that I need to upgrade first to B200 and then can upgrade to Marshmallow, is this correct?
Cheers!
Yes, it should be possible to manually update.
If your phone is network-branded, you'll need to debrand first, so carefully follow the steps in this thread: Clean debranding P8 (GRA-L09). Then follow the steps below from B200 onwards.
-------------------------
If your phone is not network-branded, follow this guide instead:
Ensure you phone has at least 50% battery power remaining. A separate microSD card (formatted to FAT32 with at least 4Gb capacity) & PC/laptop/similar system is also preferred. Plus, if necessary, do a thorough prior backup of your texts, messages, photos, music, etc as applicable (if unsure, backup anyway).
First you need to install B170 (Lollipop, EU version) - direct full download from here to your computer: http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=49884&version=118243
From the above downloaded file, extract the 'dload' folder (contains a single, large file called UPDATE.APP - leave as it is), connect phone to computer with the USB charging cable & copy this dload folder to your inserted microSD card (you may need to enable 'Developer options' & 'USB debugging' to be able to do this - follow this guide if necessary). Once completely copied over, disconnect phone from your computer, then select: Settings > Update > Local update. Once the updating process starts, do not interrupt or shut-off or manually reboot the phone.
After the above is completed, & your phone automatically reboots, verify it has been installed by visiting Settings > About phone > Build number.
Reconnect phone & delete the UPDATE.APP file from the SDcard/dload folder, but let the empty dload folder itself remain.
Next download & install B200 (Lollipop, EU version) - direct full download: http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=68483&version=238533
After extracting, copy the UPDATE.APP file only to the phone's SDcard/dload folder. Then repeat ALL the steps above from disconnecting the phone to letting the empty dload folder itself remain.
After installing B200, you could be offered a Marshmallow update (B382/B390 or above) directly via OTA - in other words, check via Settings > Update > Check for updates.
If not, download & manually install B397 (Marshmallow, EU version) (main thread for reference here).
Direct full download: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G985/g104/v85383/f1/full/update.zip
After extracting & copying the UPDATE.APP file only to the phone's SDcard/dload folder & disconnecting the phone, using the phone's dialler, type *#*#2846579#*#* to access the Project Menu., then select 4. Software Upgrade > 1. SDCard Upgrade
Once complete, your P8 GRA-L09 should now have the very latest European Marshmallow firmware version. All future updates need to be done with the 'dialler' method as mentioned in the last update procedure. Remember to delete/replace the previous UPDATE.APP file with its newer version each time & disconnect the phone before running the update procedure. Also, only download & use the 'full' update files (not the smaller OTA ones).

HwOTA for Huawei P9 Lite1. On the phone, make a backup of all data (since during the upgrade all data will be erased). This is an obligatory condition.
2. Unlock your bootloader: (There´s no way around it (unfortnuately), but after the procedure your device will be locked again, so don´t worry!). The device will make a factory reset, so once again, BACKUP your files!!!!!!!!!!
3. Enable ‘USB debugging’ and ‘OEM Unlock’ option from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.

You must to download for the version what model and location you will have after the firmware);
5. Add the downloaded files to the folder "HWOTA\Update" and run the .cmd file, it will rename them automatically according to the template:

6. After run the universal batch file update.bat in the "HWOTA" folder, which will provide an opportunity to choose the required work option (change firmware/rebranding (change location)). FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS ON THE SCREEN OF THE MONITOR - the entire process is accompanied by prompts.

Hi, ", it will rename them automatically according to the template:
- update_data_full_public.zip to update_data_public.zip

Edit: It was my stupidity , everything works fine, thank you !!!
