voLTE for zuk z1 - Zuk Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I found a magisk module named voenabler. when I installed that I have enhanced LTE option in settings but no use.
Can any dev enable volte in any ROM using that kind of modules??

I know it has discussed many times that zuk z1 can't have volte but I saw this module and thought it'll work.

Will not worked when you read the discussion you've found already. Again: it's the modem update that needs to be provided from the manufacturer.
That module just provides a switch for enhanced LTE , not the logic behind

You can download this module in any rom.

But don't download this will not work

you can use jio4gvoice app to enable voice calls. (Keep location on to receive calls)

Works fine on OB14 here. Try the July 23th version.
I understand that there are many different configurations and alot of variables that might change how things work for everyone. But here's my setup that works fine with, everything really:
OB14+twrp(codeworx)+magisk(+busybox, +callrecording) +xposed(whole lot of m).

As you can read, it's depending on the region and will be disabled after a while. In Germany it's not working anymore, ob13 it was.
So maybe you live in a region where oneplus allows it.
I am also in Germany, and it has worked since OB14's release day. ; )
Perhaps install busybox and make sure youve got your basics right.
I think that covers it all, best of luck.

Are you talking about the Magisk module https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/themes/app-enable-call-recording-boot-t3634292 or the fact that it is not natively working on ob14?
Oh and I already tried multiple times with stock ob14, busybox(cause I need it for other purposes) and the above mentioned magisk native call rec enabler from @shadowstep. It's not working anymore.
Did you made a clean installation of ob14 or an update from ob13?

Wifi calling stopped working after updating to Android 10.

Hello.
I recently updated my phone to android 10 and now my VoWifi and VoLTE is not working. It worked before but I had to go through the logkit to turn it on.
The settings in the logkit was gone with the latest update and I install a new logkit and turn everything on again, but its like its not activating the VoWifi and VoLTE.
Any ideas?

I appreciate the hint but I already rolled my phone back to Android 9. Now I'm to afraid to upgrade if it shouldn't work. And since there is no "Denmark guide" or guide for 6T I don't trust it. But maybe I will try sometime. Right now I'm sticking with what works.

After updating to A10 (10.3.0) I no longer have the options to enable the switches (can be fixed with magisk module), but *#801# no longes works. Because I cannot enable Serial and Full-port switch, I also cannot use Qualcomm PDC. Does 801 work for you, or are you using another method?
Edit: never mind, figured it out. Had to install engineering mode app! All is good.

First off, I replaced the new OEMLogKit with an older version, to be able to turn on voLTE/VoWifi witches in *#800#.
-OR-
Use a magisk module to make the switches available, I think I used this one for test purposes and it worked as intended.
To be able to use *#801# (serial), install EnrineeringMode apk, I used this one from APK mirror.
After this is done you can simply use Qualcomm PDC tool to change profile just like in Pie. :good:
When its done it's safe to uninstall EngineeringMode apk again.
EDIT: Yes, VoLTE and ViWifi works great! In my case I use the profile for H3G Denmark Commercial, but yeah.. What profile to use is operator dependant.

Yeah one of the options crashed the app, but you don't need that option enabled. I believe I just turned on the third box and then the first. I'm not sure which options are required, but that did it for me.

Confirmed - just activated it the way you described. A big thanks, mate!!
- install old logkit and engineer mode app
- dial *#800# - activate VoWiFi and/or VoLTE
- activate switches in Settings/SIM & network
- dial *#801# - activate 'Full-port switch' (activating 'Serial' crashes the app but it is NOT necessary for the procedure to proceed!)
- as already known deactivate Sub0 and Sub1 in Overseas-blahblah and remove it afterwards; then activate Sub0 and Sub1 in H3G-Denmark and set it as active
- enjoy calls through your WiFi again

[GUIDE] Enable Native Call Recording for All Countries

Hi, I recently figured out Lineage OS have native call recording feature and is not enabled for all countries. So I asked for some help and found that it is possible to enable call recording by using RRO.
Lineage Call Recording Enabler (Lineage Dialer RRO):This is a Runtime Resource Overlay for the dialer app in LineageOS to enable call recording in all countries.
LineageOS native call recording is enabled or disabled depending on your current location and the those countries are listed here, https://github.com/LineageOS/androi...ler/callrecord/res/xml/call_record_states.xml. One can enable or disable call recording by updating those values and this is what this overlay does.
Below I have provided download link for flashable zip files to flash with recovery or magisk. Flash recovery version with recovery and magisk version with magisk.
Tested on:
Lineage OS 19.1 + Lineage OS Recovery
Lineage OS 20 + Magisk 25.2
How to build RRO and flashable ZIP for recovery and Magisk (OPTIONAL):I was too lazy to put all details here so please read the README.md.
Download links (Github): https://github.com/2shrestha22/lineage-call-recording-enabler/releases/tag/v1.0.1
is it compatible with LOS 20 recovery?

I haven't been able to find a solution to the problem. Firstly, I checked the source code for my LOS 19.1 and it seems to be okay and my country is allowed for call recording in the config file. Then, I tried to get help in the IRC channel of LineageOS, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any useful information there. I even searched and read through sites like Reddit, but in the end, I still couldn't find a solution.
As a last resort, I installed BCR, and it works great, but it's not the native call recorder.

Yes, my country is listed: km. And I discovered that the record button only appears when the call is answered and not when it ringing. And the automatic recording doesnt start, you have to press manually and there is no option for that, the only option for recording is audio format. Thx anyway. I think BCR is a better choice for now.
Thank you for this!
