4G+ on Mi A1: how can I setup it? - Xiaomi Mi A1 Questions & Answers

Hello! I'm from Portugal, and my carrier is Vodafone Portugal. Vodafone PT offers 4G+ in all country, by aggregating B3+B20 (1800+800) and B3+B7 (1800+2600). I went to QXDM, but I don't know what values I need to put on RFNV LTE B20 CA BC CONFIG, RFNV LTE B3 CA BC CONFIG and RFNV LTE B7 CA BC CONFIG. Is the value 524356 (B3+B7+B20)? Thanks!

Does anyone know?

I9505 S4 LTE Int. - Activating TDD LTE bands

I own a i9505 International LTE model. My carrier has soon went for TDD LTE in Romania which is a first here. As everybody knows this far the i9505 only supports FDD LTE.
There seems to be two S4 models i9507 and I9507V that both support TDD LTE bands and are available in HK and Australia.
Tried flashing the LTE modem from those models but my bootloader refuses the file and i get an error in ODIN.
I used QXDM and modified the phone. DFS CDMA tool uppon scan now shows my phone accepts the stock LTE bands + Band38 but when
the phone attempts to connect to the Band38 it goes with no signal no network then falls back into 3G.
I believe i enabled the permision to connect to Band38 but because the modem has no instructions of it , it still can't communicate on Band38
There have been reports of i9507+-V users that flashed i9505 roms and theyre modem got overwriten resulting in no more DATA connection for them. It's clear FDD modem on a TDD network will not work.
Is there any chance of forcing the LTE modem from i9507V onto the i9505 phone ? Would Heimdall overpass the bootloader's check ?
The i9505 latest bootloader and modem is OH2 , on I9507V there is OH3
Also what is the worst case scenario ? I would imagine FDD network loss and/or wifi. Is that impossible to recover from or flashing the correct modem over would fix it ?
Anyone encoutered flashing the wrong modem file and recovered from it ?
I don't care if i loose FDD networks since my carrier only has TDD on 4G.
Also. Would it be possible to combine the i9505 5.0.1 sources against i9507V 5.0.1 sources and come up with a combined/hybrid modem ?
You are from Romania?
Yes.
I read that it can be activated with QXDM on lg g2 and sam. s5. Did you tried it?
I used QXDM and added band38 , when LTE is enabled in network type it works 5%. It tries to connect to the 4g signal then drops dead with no network no signal and goes back to 3g.
QXDM only adds permision to connect to certain bands , the i9505 modem does not have the instructions on how to communicate with a TDD network (band38 is TDD not FDD)
Nobody owning a G2 , G3 or S5 managed to add a functional TDD band. You can add more FDD bands thats for sure but not TDD without a proper modem.
That's why i'm curious about binding the i9507V modem with I9505 somehow so it gives it the instructions on how you can communicate on TDD networks.
That is sad. Because to the and of this year rcs will introduce lte in my city as well.

Bands in LG F320

Hi, I bought the LG F320L, a very good phone, but I have the drawback of the bands. There´s someone that had unlocked the bands? If comeone can know how to do it, could you help me? thank you.
There is no way to unlock radio bands, the band your device is programmed for are the ones your stuck with I'm afraid, u could try flashing a new radio, but as I'm not sure what device the f320 even is, I doubt it will work, sorry

The F320L.K.S are supporting
GSM (850/900/1800/1900)
UMTS B1 B2 B5 (850/1900/2100)
LTE B1 B3 B7 (B8-B5) (900-850/1800/2100/2600)
Dial 5457#*320# and look for
WCDMA Band Selection to select whatever band you want (phone restart automatically)
LTE Band Selection (same thing).
then RAT Selection, select GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto.
Good luck.

One thing, in cm it doesn't work the code, so, if I do it in stock, it wouldn't save it. No?
I have a doubt, when I bricked my phone, I had to replace all the principal and damage files (the módem between them). If I replace this modem (in bin) with the 802 modem, it would fix it? And if I change all the files, my phone would convert into a 802?
Wrong section.
OP @pedromanzana
I have moved two of your thread posted / created in wrong sections earlier and now this third.
This is a gentle caution and next time it wont be the same
Thanks for the understanding
For Stock rom 5457#*320# & 3845#*320#
I'm using CloudyG2 3.3 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/rom-cloudyg2-t3006744) only the 3845#*320# works.

How can I check LTE band support on m9+ ?

Hello, I bought M9+ in Dubai, where it was said LTE band 20 (800MHz) is not supported. To be precise, FDD band 20 was missing in the listing. I know for sure, the HW is absolutely the same as the EU version (even the MID code wasthe same), so I chnged the CID to HTC__032 (EU) and applied EU OTA which I thought would replace the radio file allowing me to use this band wich is perfectly usable on EU versions i Czech Republic.
But it seems that it either does not work or the radio was not changed (or perhaps there is more to be done?)...
How can I chec which LTE bands are configured to be supported? What can I do to support band 20 if it is not set atm?

MI6 unlock the all LTE bands and verification

I have modified the NV 6828 and 6829 to all bands, but when i did the test on B2, I can't access,
Has someone succeeded to use the other LTE band except B1,3,5,7,8. if u can ,please share your guide.
Thanks.

LTE Carrier Aggregation / Bands Info

I would seek info about the LTE Cat6 Modem in the Realme 2 pro: which LTE Bands are supported and is there support for Carrier Aggregation?
The Bands of interest for me (possibly all supported in this order): B3 (1800+), B20, B7 (2600), B1 (2100), B32
According to gadgetsnow.com there is support for: 1, 3, 5, 8, 38, 40, 41 - so B20 and B7 as well as B32 is missing
Found no info on CA (2CA or 3CA); it seems unsupported?
anyone know what carrier aggregation bands are supported i.e (band 3+band7) etc etc ?
I think no one knows but if you have this device, you can get log out and then we can see supported bands and combinations. Here instruction: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...droid-phone/#OnePlus,_Oppo_and_RealMe_devices
Please then send the log file to https://cacombos.com/contribute so i can improve 4G CA Combination database. In my site have already some Realme devices: https://cacombos.com/search?key=Realme
On gsmarena site it was mentioned that realme 2 pro supports 2CA. Can anyone confirm?
