Ipulse wallet case review (pics included) - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Accessories

Full Disclosure: I received this review sample at no cost.
Currently I use a Spigen hybrid for my day to day carry case, so this would be a new experience for me. Hopefully a good one as I am prone to misplace my wallet.
It was packaged nicely with a cloth bag.

This is a good sign.
I'm not sure if the case was designed to sit up for viewing, but I got it to work just fine.
Here it is with my "mission critical take alongs". I fit my license, 2 credit cards and two other cards in the main holders. I'm not a cash guy so I shoved insurance related cards in the bill holder. At this point, that section is a bit "bulgy". Now maybe I've overstuffed it a bit and it might settle in with some use, time will tell.
One thing I did note is the overall construction, it seems very solid. The stitching looks nice and isn't sloppy.
For those that use a wallet case, this is a solid choice. The buttons are cut outs, which is good, as I've had issues with other cases and how the case buttons feel. The styling is nice and I believe it is also offered in brown as well. The magnet does well to close the case. I can't say if this is going to provide good drop protection, hopefully I won't ever find out. The inner case is a pretty standard TPU case. Ipulse is quick to respond at least on facebook, so that is a definite plus. They are looking for consumers to provide additional reviews if you are interested.
Thanks to https://www.ipulsecases.com/ for their review sample and thank you for reading this.

I've added a review of this case to my case reviews thread, here:

TL;DR: I like this case a LOT.

How does the case hold up?

Great inexpensive Tilt/Kaiser case

Just FYI. I picked up a Cellet "NOBLET2" leather case for my Tilt at a local Fry's for $15.
EXCELLENT case, especially for the cost. Great belt clip. Magnetic closure. I'm really happy with it. If you're looking for an inexpensive case for your device, I recommend taking a look at this brand.
Happy Shopping!

Packaging looks like this:
If it is a magnetic case, can you check to see if the magnet is affect the phone in any way? I have seen mine going from portrait to landscape when I put a magnet next to the front of the phone. Who knows whatelse the magnet may trigger.
I haven't seen my case have any effect on the portrait/landscape mode of the phone. I always put the screen side towards my body, and almost always put the phone in the case while asleep.
I have a Cellet case like the one above (but with one central magnet) for my 8525 and have no issues with it.
Not only is this case inexpensive (got mine on e-bay), but it also looks and feel very good.
Highly recommended.
I had a problem with my MDa VARIO II which had a magneting closing. When I used the bluetooth headset people complained that they could hardly hear me and that there was a lot of static on the line. So If i were you avoid magnetic cases. I am extremely happy the my TyTn II came with the one with velcro closing
Ive only been able to find these online for like $25 plus shipping... anyone know where to get them on the cheap?

Magic/Sapphire/MT3G squeaking? help!

Almost instantly after unboxing my new white MT3G, I noticed the battery door and other parts of the housing squeaking and making irritating noises. This may not bother some people, but I had to pay full price for my device, so I'd like it to not feel like a cheap plastic toy.
At any rate, I have had similar issues with many other HTC devices, most which were fixed by adding cloth or masking tape to the squeaking surfaces, and voila!
But, its not working on the MT3G... even plain masking tape seems to be too thick, as the battery door rises up and leaves a noticeable gap between it and the rest of the chassis - if I apply tape to it.
I haven't experimented a lot, but I'm getting frustrated and was looking to see if anyone else may have some insight!
Thanks in advance!
An hour of experimentation later, I think I may have a solution for those of you with MT3G's/Magics that are sick of the squeaky toy feeling. Once I perfect my cutouts, I'm going to measure, image and PDF a stencil for you guys to cut out your own MT3G anti squeak mats. The final should be a one piece design, to avoid it from wearing out and getting crappy. This method is low-profile enough to not make the battery cover stand off and gap, but provides enough 'insulation' to keep it from squeaking. Note that the battery has two layers of tape on it, to keep it level with the rest of the back of the device.
Forgive the ugliness, this is a first run... I just wanted to share with the community, as I was excited as hell when I popped on the battery cover and said "OH SHI-- NO SQUEAKS?!"
pictures (the tape is marked with blue sharpie to give contrast - originally white waterproof adhesive medical tape):

next is a Desk Mate Leather Case for 9.95 and free shipping
i know body glove is a good one but the desk mate looks like it would offer more protection...
please let me know what yall think
Thanks
Personally, I prefer Desk Mate model. Another one seems huge and a little ugly.
yea i agree thats what im gonna get
Thanks
Desk mate looks classy, I've been thinking about getting a case myself and at 10 bucks I'm going to get that one for myself.
I dont have the body glove, but a similar chinese knock-off from ebay. A note about those cases.. they do offer a good tight protection without much more thickness and weight to the device, but I find it awkward to use the slider on sense roms with that case. Its always a little difficult to slide to the home or settings tab because typically your thumb slides right off the side of the screen. While the ridge on the side of the case prevents your thumb from doing this.
I like the design of the deskmate as opposed to other leather cases, but Ive never been a fan of leather cases in general, a little too bulky for my taste. (I put my phone in my pocket, not on my belt).
I personally would suggest the bodyguardz or invisible skin protection. It doesn't add another inch bulk on the phone and it keeps the look of the phone.
very nice collection,
i like the desk stand cover

HD2 CarbonFiber/Kevlar Back Cover

After looking at all the sexy phones being released, I was getting jealous and it felt like my HD2 was losing its luster (The HD2 is still a sexy phone, don't get me wrong). I actually did this mod a long time ago but I switched the cover because I purchased an extended battery (Chinese!) and recently I just really missed the sexyness. And the cover draws attention away from the phone's slight blemishes( My f*cking eX knocked my phone on the the ground. It scratched my phone, cracked the camera lens and dented the camera casing >:[ )
Don't know if something like this was posted already, but anyway, here's to the best $265 I have ever spent!

I didn't have better camera at the time, so i had to use my sh*tty iPhone 3g. The image had so much noise, that i had to Photoshop it! So if it looks weird i apologize.
EDIT: THAT'S RIGHT! Totally forgot... I bought this carbon fiber vinyl sheet from ebay (3M makes better quality sheets but is more expensive). And basically it's a sticker and I just pasted it on to my back and cut the proper dimensions. I used a heat gun to make it stick more and it makes it easier to play with (it gets softer). I'm actually planning on dong this to all my future phones!
OK ......Ya it looks nice but what was the point of making the post if your not going to tell people what you did to make it? Is it just a carbon fiber sticker, did you actually make a true carbon fiber back cover,etc....Would be nice to know for others that might want the same look.
Why is this in themes and apps?
its moved now

I like these cases as usual.
- Nice leather feel. I know when the leather breaks in over time, it will have that "my hand" feel.
- All the cutouts for camera, fingerprint sensor, USB-C jack etc...nicely trimmed and aligned.
- I should not have problem with the fingerprint sensor. as samsung changed the the scanner to the side of camera
- the magnetic closure is great, keep case closed will protect your phone when you drop
But the 1 dings....
1: the buttons lined up well but is cut open, not covered by TPU.
I will update is when i received my phone in 1 or 2 weeks
Price is 34.98 dollars,
