B404 on Firmware Finder, google's april patch
B403 is now approved for installation
Quite fast!

If everything goes like the past month, i should receive it on 15 April in Italy for my IMEI batch. I know that they make a batch updato to not overcharge their server...but i still preferred they were able to give us monthly updates. As for now we will always receive the previous month update ...well if we don't have root, in that case we could always flash the approved firmware with FF or unapproved ones with RedLotus

I have the c432 model which shows 404 in FF I looked at 403 but for me that is not approved Via IMEI.

For the people in the UK that didn't update their firmware manually, and they are in B394, an update arrived today containing "4 patches" which brings the phone to B403. I updated manually to B401 a while back but I didn't get the new update just yet (and maybe I need to wait until 403 is approved for my IMEI).

B393 update shown in FF app, which is the Google's April security patch. B393 for FRD-L14 (Northamerica version).
It's funny because we're on B391 (Feb. update) but we haven't received B392 (which is useless now because there's the B393 update).

I rolled back to official updates instead of FF as I was getting some awful battery life, currently on 394 in the UK and nothing newer yet.

There is another workaround to get the latest (official) update without FF: use a SIM from another country that has received the update already. By setting it as the primary SIM, even in roaming, you receive the updates. Tried successfully on mine (which was manually updated via FF to B401) with a Greek SIM card, got the update up to 402.

B403
B403 OTA delivery has started un Italy (L09-C432)

My Honor 8 still sits on B394, no update offers from Huawei (FRD-L09C432, Baltic states) although in FF using checking by IMEI i can see that at least B401 and 402 are approved for installation.

Yesterday I asked Honor Finland about the update situation (I'm still on B398 from August on FRD-L19C432). A rep promised to get back to me soon.

Still on B392 for Frdl04

Yeah, Tampere Finland
Any news from them?
I had FRD-L09C432B398 and security patch from November, but yesterday i decided to try FF to update my phone.
Now i have B402 with February security patch and everything works fine :good:
I recommend to do it that way if u wanna have almost latest security patch!
I used FRD-L09C432B402 FullOTA-MF because i received only errors from those little OTA-MF updates..

I assume that he used a Portuguese one
It is not limited to Greek SIM cards, you need to pick a SIM from a country that has received the update.
For what's worth, the greek sim card was from Cosmote.

Portuguese SIM card. Like it was said, any SIM card from a country that already started receiving the update.

B403 seems to be approved for me today in the UK. I'm on Three if that makes any difference

I'm with giffgaff/o2 and B403 did not arrive automatically, but I was in b402.
By switching my SIM to my greek one (as described above) I got the update to b403.
If you were in b394 probably you got the triple patch, which is also good news.

Ah yes, mine didn't arrive automatically I just meant that it was approved in FF for me today.

B182 officially released

Huawei just pushed B182 to my C432. On German and Portuguese SIMs.
Security patch dated 5 April 2017.
Well, I guess I will receive it shortly after you guys on my Dutch Sim.
Just don't get it why I takes so long for the c432 models to get the updates.
To bad the change log is old. 6x zoom? It's already at 10.
I get the update last night :good:
Please can anyone confirms that in the network setting the "network aggregation" and "Volte" setting are not available? It seems that are now managed automatically.
Updated through firmware finder successfully. No obvious changes so far.

Hopefully the L09_C432 UK model will get update soon too!
It is embarrassing to have latest flagship phone stuck on January 2017 security patch, when 3 years older phones such as the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z3+ are on March 2017 security patch.
Does anyone know if the newer software have better lockscreen music/audio widget control support?
I'm using Pocket Casts; Audible, and USB audio player. All don't have widget control on lockscreen in B156 build.
+1 Bigmille you're completly right and it's incomprehensible from a company like Huawei, apparently they don't care of their customers security, i'm still too stuck to 156 in France, i'm checking daily ...

So did you guys get the 172 before this update? Since I am still stuck on the 156 since February. I can see with firmware updater that 172 got out in March, but I cannot install it.
e. ok, now I checked the pictures. Apparently skipped totally 172..

Just received the updated on my Mate 9 brought from 3 store in the UK. Might worth checking again.

Version compatibility? MHA-L09C900B186 to MHA-L09 8.0.0.324 (C900)

My Mate 9 build version is MHA-L09C900B186 (unlocked international version). I see on Developer Team MT there is a version: MHA-L09 8.0.0.324 (C900) which seems to be Oreo for the "C900", correct?
However Firmware Finder says "not approved"...
Has anyone received an OTA or updated the same version (C900) to Oreo?
Oreo is beta, so unless you enroll the beta program and get in you won't be able to install it normally.
You'll have to use HWOTA.

Their official non beta update has not rolled out yet except for the Chinese variant AFIK and those are quotas, it hasn't rolled out to any other variant as of yet. That article was not very clear about that. When it has rolled out for your variant you will know it as it will show up in settings, system update. All those Oreo ROMs on ff are betas so they are not authorized unless you are enrolled in the beta program. You can install them, but only through the HWOTA method. If you want the official OTA update be patient, it will get to you.

You are correct that it is Oreo for the C900 variant the reason ff says "not approved" is because it is a beta version.
Still no update for the C900?
And still no update for this darn phone, when is Huawei going to release an update? Android "P" is out already and no bloody update yet for this phone.
Same here. No update for this phone.
Even worse: the security patches are from April 2017.... thats a year ago. Really bad.

Hmm. You have generic international model without binding to specific region.
As I know, it has poor update history.
Maybe, it would be better to rebrand onto C432 (Europe) region.
I think I have the same international unspecified region (although I though I was Middle East) and have been on 181 all the time until today.
Then I received an update to b182 then b188 then 370c then 371c one after the other - just now.

Probably, Huawei will force C185 region to Oreo.
According experience, there are some factors which decrease chances to get update. Have C185 region while living in Kenya is one of them. I have C636 region's ROM and living in Russia. Also, I have problems with automatic updates and have to use FF to update. Not a big problem at all
6 hours after I wrote previous post, I received update on my device.
Without FF !
If you should want to change from C900 to something else, But I worked for me. I have a phone that I found was IMEI registered to the middle east but during the IMEI checks via FF I found that C900 and C567 worked on mine.
My phone was originally received as C900.
Just try your IMEI against separate ROMs and you'll find the compatible ones.

Yeah. Huawei approves imei from other regions, but you have to do rebranding procedure first to go onto foreign region's ROM.
Checked again and the firmware MHA-L09C432B363 is "approved for installation" through FF onto my MHA-L09C900B186, will this work?
Or should I use Funkyhuawei (or other method?) to rebrand?

Can't update my P10 Lite

Hi guys!
I have a P10 lite Dual sim with 4GB ram
Im on WAS-LX1AC432B184 and i can't update with OTA or HiSuite because "no update" and I think there's update...
Can u help why i can't update
Sometime earlier bricked my phone and i used service rom with dload method.
can this be the problem?
Thanks
I think u have the latest update. What's the latest security patch level?
I wonder if you have used a single SIM ROM. My Single SIM device has ROM build WAS-LX1AC432B187 with security patch level 5 Oct 2017.
I am still new with the device so not entirely sure of the differences or the significance of the AC432 in the build number
My rom build WAS-LX1AC432B184 with security patch level 5 Oct 2017
X = 1 or 2
1 is a single sim
2 is a dual sim
A is a 4gb ram version
Then u have the latest update. There is no new update that I know of. I also have 4GB version, but single sim. U can see the print screen in my previous post.
yes, latest rom is lx1ac432b184 in my country
i have b192 for 4gb device
i have WAS-LX1AC432B186 and i can't update to B192, people in Spain updated to B192 one week ago (Spain, free firmware)
I can confirm this too for LX1C432. Some of my friends got B192 but I didn't. I have the same model as they have but I am still stuck on B184

Do you have any new for this update for the mate 9 Porsche design? In hicare I see the update since May but the phone just don't find it when I click on the update lol
It is still not approved for installation. It will probably be another week.
Today the update was approved when I checked in Firmware Finder. In the system ypdate it said that there were no updates, so I used Firmware Finder to trigger the update. All went smooth. Face Unlock works fantastic!
my LON-L29C636 still not getting approved.
My LON-L00 still can't update.... Is been a month that I see the update on the HiCare app but each time I click on update it say no update ... =(

Last update that showed up on my phone before rebranding to L19 was the B405.
Why are Huawei/Honor so sloppy with their update distribution sometimes?
This seems really strange, I haven't even recieved B406 yet and Oreo is being released on another FRD-L09 model, but still they decide to release a new security patch-only update? Why couldn't they just pack it together with Oreo? :|

Guess they're just testing with the Russian L09, like they first did with China, and don't know when they'll release it in general Europe.
maybe because in Europe we are crybabies they want to be sure everything works fine
