Would it be nicer if he explained what it was, instead of insulting people, they are all born taught? Where are the moderators?

Video quality

Your friends are never going to believe what you did. The only way to prove it to them is with that video you took. Rate this thread to express how videos shot on the Honor V10 come out. A higher rating indicates that videos are smooth (and not choppy) and that auto-focus works very well, and that the camera adjusts quickly to different lighting conditions while recording.

Time to take picture (camera launch speed)

There! Something just happened! Did you take a picture of it? Rate this thread to express how fast the Huawei P20 Pro can go from "zero to picture". A higher rating indicates that launching the camera app and taking a photo is extremely fast such that you never miss an important moment, like when your cat attacks the couch again.

I am interested in this phone, just learned about it yesterday - about the three-camera setup in the back. What is the quickest way to launch the camera on this phone if screen is off? I came from Moto phones, they have the double-twist to launch, and now I am using HTC U11, which has the squeeze feature. I know Android has double-tap on power button to launch camera, but that's just not fast enough for me, compared to the other two ways I mentioned.
You double press the volume down key to launch camera.
strangely by default this option will also take a picture at the same time which is silly, but you can turn this off.
P.S its more than fast enough to launch camera this way.
(i also had a htc u11 and currently a pixel 2 xl and p20 pro)

Very fast - no complains about time to take picture

This does not work if you are listening to Music or something else. Otherwise it's pretty fast 0,4sec
Camera app launches is .3 seconds from the lockscreen.

Super fast.. Kirin 970 is doing a job very well..
I'm guessing this uses eMMC?
Kirin 970 is showing its power and I havent observed any app launch delays.

No, it's using UFS 2.1. I was surprised too, this really is a "cheap" flagship.
5 stars for app launch speed
This is an easy 5 stars. The app launch speed is never something I've had to think about, which is a good thing.

Its fast! You may not save the milliseconds you need but it gets the job done for those urgent burst moments of work. For example, I was on a VoIP call, saw a nice scenery, snapped it instantly with HDR+ ennhanced (Read the camera review for that ) and shared it over to the person via Telegram without even breaking a sweat kind of fast! You get the point!

PS: This is not a how-fast-does-the-camera-app-launch thread. Overall apps in general.

Have been trying out a Lot of Basic Apps, Mostly Social Networking ( Fb, Instagram, whatsapp) or basic things Like Uber, Gmail, And of course Android Auto (Maps), etc.
Compared the same with my son's OnePlus 5, a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (both flagships) And seriously didnt notice a noticeable lag anywhere.
None of my Apps are in Ram ever..
Mostly Greenified.

The phone hasn't managed to disappoint me in this category so far. And though it doesn't offer flagship level performance (which you shouldn't be expecting either, considering the price) it performs all tasks without any hiccups. I'd give it a 5/5 in this category
