Hi guys i got my Z17 from geek-buying with google play . anyway i cannot sign in to google and i find some thread here to guide me to install it again and its work fine so far so good but i have issue know with g-mail and whatsapp it wont sync automatically some times i have to open the program to refresh it both apps and in whatsapp i don't get the corner number for who many message i have on screen i have to open it and wait a while to to get all the message .
in google play service i cant open the permeation is that normal or something wrong

Anyone else having trouble connecting? It says I'm logged in but it only shows a few contacts and says they're offline. And messages that people send me aren't coming through.
i dont really use google talk but it does show me offline idk y
also aim is very slow it takes a while for budies to show up this goes for yahoo and msn also i cant view away messages on aim i hope new updates will fix these problems

hey guyz i just rooted my phone 3 days ago and i had now problem for last 3 days but from last night i went to market to download some stuff and when i click install. the download doesnt start for example i download FB it says from the download bar downloading facebook and it stays like that i waited 15 minutes nothing happen i tried some other download as well all have the same problem.

not; i unroot my phone to check if the problem gone but still same problem :SS.

Uv most likely uninstalled something that you shouldnt have? or you may just need some sort of market fix!

thats what i did
this one requires you to go to the Application Settings (Menu — Settings — Applications — Manage Applications) and clear the data in Google Talk, Google Mail, Market, Google Apps, Download Manager and IM.
then i creat a new googlemail acount and done every thing works fine.
yeah i done this and it worked, tho didnt need to create new account, found this on android forums
i have xperia x10
First back up ur phone numbers
now go on ur pc and log on to ur google mail account
once logged on goto settings
now goto accounts and import
where it says send mail as, switch to @gmail.com (you need to switch ur address to gmail or googlemail )
once you have changed your mail address log out
on your phone goto settings, applications,manage applications and you need to clear cache on the following
google talk, google mail, google apps, market, download manager
turn phone off and on again and goto google talk and log on ur new google address(@gmail.com) once you have done this try downloading a app from market( if you have apps downloading pending cancel and restart.
this is what i did and it worked for me, no factory reset needed

my Facebook (the HTC sense built in application facebook) does not download any pictures to my phone at all - no contact pictures or pictures from albums of my friends on facebook. even the FBcontact folder in windows is empty. my phone is sync with my facebook account, i dont have my contact sync with outlook so i dont see what is wrong with it. DOES ANY ONE KNOWS WHAT COULD GO WRONG?
also, my Twitter - the Peep app will not allow me to log in. every time i try to log in a window pops up that says that i have entered a wrong username and password wich i didnt. if i try to install the peep hotfix a window pops up again the says that the hot fix is not for my phone.
i have installed the lates vodafone ROM 1.41.161.1 WWE
i made HARD RESET once but nothing had changed
anybody knows what can i do to make it work again? if any ideas please reply

prob facebook : close FB app. go to default web browser (Opera or IE )and choose option enable view photo.go to FB app

Have you tried with a standard Web browser? eg. opera login to Facebook and see if there showing pictures? because I think the problem is in the settings
i dont think it is the web browser. not sure now if u know for sure what i was talking about. it is the BUILT IN SENSE FACEBOOK APP mate. when i go to all PEOPLE and try to link a contact with a facebook contact the picture will not be downloaded. it will show a down arrow wich is suppose to mean that the pic is being downloaded but this down arrow is ment to be in a ring or something. mine isnt. its just a down arrow wich dissaper after a second or two. just seems like the pic get lost somewhere in a 2nd dimension lol
the contacts are linked (phone and facebook) but the pics to them are missing. the same when i try to open a facebook album from a linked contact, the pic wont be shown, downloaded.
maybe u can try downloading the latest FB app, V1.1.0.26, search for it in the marketplace..
Facebook : disable https on your facebook account
Twitter : i have the same problem, the hot fix doesnt install. I wrote to htc and they said "try to uninstall and install it again"
I hope they release a fix for twitter and for https on facebook soon...

Today I have discovered that I cannot upload videos to youtube anymore because there is a login problem with it. From what I have seen this comes from the HTC Sense Account Manager Login that fails to login this.
Anyone having any ideas of why this is happening? Everyone having the same problem or is it working for someone?

This is not working since November last year for me
One of the many reasons why i use Android now.

Any solutions for this? I'm having the same problem. Worked fine until about a week ago but now when I try to upload, it goes thru the motion but hangs at 0% uploaded in the uploader screen. I also don't get the notification at the top of the screen that something is uploaded. When I try to login thru Data Services, nothing happens and the icon stays grayed out. I don't even get a login error message.

My Axon 7 arrived from China today, but it has big issue. I can't log in to google account, it stucks at "checking data" window. Can't use playstore, gmail, install apps... Internet connection is ok, checked everything except rooting. Maybe someone could help here?

Not sure but does the Chinese version even come with google apps? I thought google apps are blocked in China and don't come pre-installed.

yes there are google play, gmail...
OK, this is getting old now... After installing google play services, gmail and play store you need to go to mi-assisstant. Open the autorun section and tick all the above. You should be able to then log into your google account BUT it may take 1/2 hour to an hour before you can use properly. You will be prompted to update google play services when you try to start gmail. Until google recognises and registers your phone this will get an error when trying to update. try it about 30 minutes after you try to do it the 1st time and it should update as well as all the apps you installed. Contacts WILL NOT update...
