Yes, it does. But it depends on operator also.
in EU - O2 yes, T-mob yes, Vodafone no...

Does anyone knows which lte cat is p20?. Some sites claim is cat18, others cat 16. Kirin 970 and mate 10 pro are cat18. Both phones have same modems. Also. It's seems that phone modem is 4x2 MIMO, not 4x4. I don't know why on p20 presentation was shown as 4x4.

I don't know about LTE. But on 3g the cellular reception is poor. Like over 100-103dBm. My old galaxy s6 gets 89- 90dbm and my mate 8 gets 83-84dBm in the exact same spot in my home
Is there a solution to get 4 Antennas work ?
The Chipset can handle it but there are only 2 antennas present

Bought MI 8 from Gearbest. Some ads can be turned off. Google "how to turn ads off in Xiaomi phones".
Seems to be working for me fine in Chicago using Mint Mobile. (mvn of T-mob)

The cellular connection is amazing, I am using the ANA-NX9 model in the US and it has perfect connection all day. I have tested the phone with both At&t and T Mobile and both have connection anywhere I am. T Mobile does show 5g connection although the data speed is the same speed if not slower than at&t. This is likey a network thing as t mobile has labeled it's previously LTE connection as 5g on 5g capable phones.

I've been using the device for 4 days now... So I feel like I'm finally eligible to comment on the cellular experience of the phone.
So far the cellular reception has been great! The download and upload speeds haven't disappointed in the least... But I'm doubtful if it supports Cellular Aggregation. It'll be great if someone can confirm that!

The network reception in my iPhone 11 is way worse than the Exynos Note 20 Ultra(model: SM-N986B, by far the best network reception in any smartphone I ever used, comes with Exynos modem 5123).
Not having the iP12 yet, I am curious whether Apple with the A14 Bionic(SD X55 modem) improved or not in this regard this time around..
