Sign Slim Armor CS - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Accessories

Wondering if anyone has this case. They say it works with wireless charging which is a must, but does it work with Samsung Pay as well? Both are a must. I want to keep 1 emergency card and my license inside.
On the note 8 version there's conflicting reports on wireless charging as well as Samsung Pay. Normally I'd order something through Amazon, and if I don't like it, just send it back. The case isn't currently on Amazon. Not even as back ordered, the product page is completely gone.

just received shipment of new, and seal tag is broken...

i've just bought a new nexus s from cpw, and the seal tag is broken, but with another seal tag put over the top. i'm guessing this isn't normal and the phone has been used before and a new seal has been slapped over the top. anyone else experienced this?
i'm sure i'm in my rights to reject this.
I would reject it. My first Nexus S was from Best Buy and they tried to sell me the display model. The screen had a dead spot in it. They were baffled when I returned it a few days later as to what could have been the issue with that. Its a display model, and you:
A) didn't tell me that
B) didn't offer me some sort of open box discount as it was essentially used
C) didn't bother testing it to make sure it worked properly
I took it to a different store and they exchanged it for me right away and I am much happier.
after 20 mins phone tussle with cpw the advisor didn't understand that i bought a sim-free phone and kept telling me about my upgrade would be cancelled, that my contract would have to be cancelled too, and that i have to take it back to the store - at my expense - to return it and wait 3 days for a refund. i could then buy another phone instore though... after a bit of to'ing and fro'ing it looks like i can now actually walk out with a new phone, without 'purchasing' a new phone.
to cpw's credit though, i now have a new phone in my posession even after travelling to the store. so all's good (i hope)
also - not sure how true this is - but after i said that sim-free's usually have an extra seal inside the box, and i didn't think it was kosher - she pointed out that this is only with htc devices, and not samsung, and only samsung would have put that seal on over the original box as 'they' don't have samsung stickers...
which also kinda hints that they do resticker other brands.
mine was like that, I wasnt bothered to be honest
Mine was like that as well, seems to be widespread
The ones from Best Buy dont even come sealed. It drives me crazy

Can i replace without case in Best Buy?

hi to all!
i have the "dust under screen" issue, and i would like to replace my brand new 1 week Galaxy Tab 10.1 which i bought on Best Buy.
Im not familiar with Best Buy return politics, but is it possible to me to claim for an instant replacement without having the box? i have the invoice, but the box i throw it away!... also, can i go to any best buy or shall i go to the one i bought from ?
thanks in advance!
I can't imagine them letting you return without the box. You will most likely have to buy a new one, then return the old one with the box.
Yikes... threw away the box? Not good.
Don't think you can swap boxes either, because the serial number is also printed on the box and they normally check both the box and tablet serial numbers to be sure they match.
oops... thing is that i had to travel that same day, and i couldnt bring out the box with me... so i assume i have to live with this dust under screen situation.
thanks!
Best Buy has gotten really strict when it comes to boxes. You almost always have to have it now...especially for something like the tab where they really can't resell it without it. You can always try and hope you get a compassionate customer service associate.
They will probably let you return it, however they will likely require a 15% restocking fee without the box.
If he is returning it for a defect (dust under screen) then they may not need the box. It would be one thing if he is returning it because he didn't like it and they can resell it, but if it is defective then they probably have to ship it back to the manufacturer.
Blue Shirt here.... (hey, i have baby goats to feed)
This is what you do, because it's not official policy but simply at a Managers discretion depending on how much courtesy and politeness you bring to the table, and NOT attitude.
In some cases, what we do is make the exchange (if everything else falls within the return policy) and just give you the product while keeping the rest, like the box and contents. Many a time folks come in with a defective laptop and charger only but they've thrown out the box. We just swap out the bad laptop with a replacement and keep the box and contents to send with back to RMA/RTV/Devo e.t.c.
Worth a shot..

hey! thanks for your answer i was really afraid going to Best Buy and having someone telling me that i cant replace it...
the replacement was really easy, so much easy, it seems the manager already knew about this kind of dust problem on galaxy tabs, so he saw it, and told me... ok, you can go and get one... he never asked for the box...! and they gave me a new one, with box included and accesories! anyhow, i went later and gave them the accesories of the old one...
thanks to all!
I too am a blueshirt. You do not need the box or manual, however you do need the adapter and cable. If you do not have those, then they will remove them from the box of the one you exchange for. There in fact is a prompt that comes up at the register that says "does the item have all accessories (box and manual are not required for return)?" Therefore you will be fine. the tab will probably just get sent back to Samsung anyway (the few I took as returns did).

This is good info. Thank you.

-send it to samsung instead

LG G3 Quickcircle case from CPW

Has anyone in the UK who got their phone from CPW which included the free case, got the case - if so is it the QI charging capable one
thanks

Yes, and yes.

thanks I'm just waiting to hear from CPW as to what is happening as according to them I should have a case as the contract I took out included the case - but on the sales invoice it is not listed - they then said the store would get one shipped out to me, but then when speaking to a store manager in a local store I was told this would not happen and I won't get the case and was disputing everything I had been told by their CS staff. Says the cases were not included in any contracts until recently and would put something on my account to reflect I won't get a case.
mind you the store manager I spoke to was a bit off and didn't really have a clue about the cases - reckons that CPW are not selling them separately as there is a problem with them - and the case he wanted to sell me at £45 (which should be the Qi Case) he then said it's been reduced - when I asked if it was the correct case (Qi Charging) he was adamant it was until I pointed out the reason for the cheaper case is because it does not have the charging capabilities. He opened the case and then found out it wasn't the charging one and mentioned the bit about them not selling them because of a problem.
He asked me why I wanted the wireless charging one and then questioned whether or not I had a wireless charger and if I knew how to use it.
Overall for a store manager I thought he was a bit rude

The one I received from cpw is the one that clips over the back of the existing back plate, so not sure if it will still work with wireless charging or not.

Did you keep the SD card?

I'm trying to find out more about the exchange, or maybe return in my case.
Did you need the box or charger?

I'm just going by the first recall at this point, but you most likely need to bring all accessories that came in your box. Box too if you still have it, though all info (Mac address, IMEI, serial, etc) should be in your phone's software.
Memory cards, Fit 2, Gear VR, or whatever gifts you got are yours to keep.

When I did the exchange the first time they kept all the accessories and the box from the replacement phone. I walked in with only a phone and walked out with only a phone ( not counting the screen protector ) It was not a big deal since the accessories were the same. That was a voluntary exchange/recall.
It is now a mandatory recall. If I don't have the box or accessories are they going to deny the return/exchange? They will accept the phone in any condition but need the box and headphones?
I kept my sd card both times , second time note 7 screen was toast. I never took the charger and other stuff out of the box the second time.

To be honest, I would think that at this point, they (Samsung and carriers) only care about the phones. Samsung is more concerned about getting the devices off the streets, and will take the phones back regardless of condition, and most likely with or without accessories (and by "accessories," I only mean the charger, cable, adapters, etc that came in the box. Not cases, free gifts from Samsung, etc, as I laid out before.).
Let me add this: I went into an ATT store on Wednesday with the sole intention of preordering an LG V20. Wasn't, and didn't want to, return my Note7 that same day. I still needed to back up my data and the Note7 is my only phone at the moment and the V20 isn't out until the 28th.
Well, as soon as the preorder was complete, they said I HAD to hand over my Note7 right then and there because it's such a safety risk. It was obvious that I did not have the box, charger, etc... I only walked in with the clothes on my body and my Note7. So, long story short, I had to cancel the preorder because I needed a phone until the V20 came out, and I didn't want to go through the hassle of having to set up a temporary loaner phone (again, long story short).
I definitely wouldn't worry about the box since, as I mentioned before, all info like the IMEI and stuff can be gotten from within the phone's software (Settings- About Device). The ATT guy was able to get all needed info just from my phone, and didn't need a box. Yes, the box would make things easier for them maybe, but it shouldn't be necessary. Plus, not everyone keeps their boxes.
Now, if you're trying to keep the accessories (FREEBIES!), then I'd bring them with you, but leave them in the car when you go in. If they don't ask, then don't tell. Otherwise, if they refuse the phone (which I HIGHLY doubt they will since the ATT guy I worked with said they were such a serious safety risk), then just play absent-minded and be like, "Oh d'oH! Yeah, I left all that stuff in the trunk of my car! Let me go get them!" and do just that.

My dog ate my charger.
The charger caught on fire and burnt up the headphones with it. Hehehe

I kept the SD card, the S-pen, the charging cord, and all the accessories/adapters. Basically if it wasn't glued to the phone I kept it! I don't know why I kept the charging cord since I have nothing to use it with. I wanted the S-pen for sentimental reasons. I had the original box it came in so when I exchanged for the S7 edge I just handed over the phone in the box. They didn't even look in it.

Charger port

Hello community.
I have a recently purchased 6t. Upon arrival of my new phone, I have noticed that when I plug in the oem charger, there is fair play (wobble) in the port. Everything works fine etc. Charging, it clicks in.
This concerns me because I am very anal about charger ports wearing down in the long term future and am always careful when handling my phone while charging.
Does any one else phone do this? Is it normal?
It makes me worry connecting the headphones to the port if I want too and putting the phone in my pocket which I haven't done yet because of this issue.
I have contacted oneplus but it appears they are ignoring me as I never heard back from them.
I have to add that I am a little upset with their customer support.
Hey, I actually noticed this problem on my 6T too, but honestly, I've gotten used to it. I have also noticed that it tends to be a bit loose.....which means that sometimes, not all the time, a little pull can take off the charging cable. The same goes with the dongle. It gets annoying, but I'm certain that it was a manufacturer defect. I haven't emailed or talked to OP in any way yet, but if we get a larger group of people complaining about this, maybe we can get something done.
PS. Let me know if your type C connector is a bit crooked when it's plugged in.
Mine was bought off eBay (I know, I know) .. it was my second purchase.. the first one was purchased from eBay and worked great until I had realized its IMEI was bad.. and I dont have time to try to go into fixing that. But I can replace a flex port charger cable. I could tell the different right away. I made sure there was no excess debris, etc.. but I cannot FIND A REPLACEMENT ANYWHERE except for in China, which would take a month if I used normal shipping for the 5-10 dollars that it should cost. If I want something that'll supposedly come quicker, it would at least be shipped in the US or Canada or even the U.K. China takes months to ship for whatever reason.. they want $30 just for fedex. There's another youtube guide about replacing it that seems to be a bit cheaper and honest about pricing, but still over the stop.. something with eBay. I can't find it anywhere. I'm literally just about to return the phone and give up on the OnePlus 6T ... since it isn't an LG or a Samsung Galaxy Swhateverthe****, replacement parts seem rare and very hard to come by.
If anyone knows anything, please don't hesitate to at least post in this thread. I'd like to get a charger that isn't chipped and barely working. If a file is transferring and I move the phone the slightest inch, you might as well forget it. For me it's not that it's loose.. it's just straight up defective. I wrote it off for awhile but I tried to recently contact the eBay seller about getting a replacement and haven't gotten a response. I was hoping he'd just have one he could swap out or even one he could send to me and that do me enough justice, so long that it works. Shipping from China is basically like asking for a bad cable all over again unless you use a major shipping outlet i..e Fedex, UPS, etc..
ANYTHING on this would be appreciated. This is technically still under the vendor's warranty but I doubt he has many of these. It's a Worldphone, dual-sim, unlocked.. I'm trying to keep this one.. even though I could do the same thing to my T-Mobile and grab a simple dual-sim tray.
Don't know much about this site so do your homework 1st before buying.
