Asus Zenpad stuck on boot screen? - Android TV General

Hi there. I'm looking for a little help with my tablet. My 4 year old was using it to play games and then she came in saying she had punched a blue button. The tablet is now stuck on the Asus boot screen with fastboot mode in the top left corner. I've tried the power button on its own, with volume up and with volume down but it will not power off or do anything.
It's still in warranty so I can return it if need be but I'm sure there is probably a way to power it off and reboot.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Chris Booth

XPERIA X2 won't enter bootloader help!!!

Hi, I am having problems getting my X2 into boot mode in order to update the firmware to MR1- I've followed the instructions on SE Update Service (press and hold volume down button and power button until white screen appears)
All that happens is the vibration feedback to indicate power on, then the phone loads up as normal with the logo in a black background???? anyone else come across this?
help me X2
hi all fri
i had one sony x2 ,but have some problem !can you tell me how to enter undate mode !and X2 chinese rom! thanks
do you press and HOLD both buttons till the desired screen appears? Should not release Power button before the screen emerges..
Yes I did, It's just loads up as normal, I have the xperia x1 so I'm not new to this devices, anyone experienced this before?
Are you sure that you are doing it exactly like this:
1. Remove and re-insert battery.
2. Press AND HOLD the volume down button.
3. Press AND HOLD the power button at the same time.
Hold the two buttons (and no other buttons) until logo on white background appears.
The order is important, first the volume down button - keep pressed, then the power button - keep both pressed.
The most important thing that many people miss is...
You must NOT have the USB cable plugged in when you do this. Only plug the phone in after the white screen appears.
This is not my first xperia as I still have the x1, so I do know what I'm doing, the phone boots up as normal (sony ericsson logo with the 'black' background) unlike the x1 with the tricolor screen. Is there anyother way to enter the bootloader or reset the whole ROM? someone please help as I can't update my phone and spony ericssonwon't do anything about it because it hasn't been officially released in the UK :S
i have the same issue tryed every thing (volume down + power =nothing. volume down + power +soft reset button= nothing. look in the registry found nothing relevant to bootloader )i think bootloder got messed up or something. is there a folder or something containing the bootloder

Exactly the same problem
same here, very frustrated, need my phone back to factory settings! any1 help please???
It's important that you normally turn off the phone before getting out the battery or it will reboot normally when the battery is inserted.
X2 DEAD
I also have the same problem as my device does not turn on nor k is functioning BOOTLOADER MODE.
only once beats vibrating k after the computer sees an unknown device.
I left my phone in few mobile services, nobody did any good to it - same problem still left. Last chance will be SE service.

To get back into factory-defaults, then use the Phone reset found under Settings->System. That will re-install everything.

[Q] My A500 doesn't boot

Hi there,
I've got a problem with my A500 (rooted with taboonay ROM).
I've been using it for weeks without a problem. But now it doesn't boot any more. The screen stays black, the Power button lights on when I press it, but that's all.
I tried to hold Volume button while pressing Power, but it won't boot either.
I don't understand why it behaves like this.
Any way to force it to boot, please?
thanks !
Look somewhere on the forums, there was a topic how to unbrick.

Try doing a hard reset.
There's a little pinhole on right, lower side of tab labeled "reset".
I tried to push this little button, the power button lights on but the screen stays off...thank you anyway. Any other tips?

Use the search function and find the thread(s) about unbricking .
In the developer part you can find theme with unbricking instructions

[Q] Power button issue not mechanical but cant unlock bootloader to solve

Thought Id ask here before I give up.
Been having a problem with my nexus.
The power button started acting up recently.
I've tried replacement and also made sure the mechanical button works inside someone else's device and it works fine.
My problem is that the button seems to loop or not work at all. For instance the device wont boot (Gets stuck in a loop) unless I hold the power down until the boot has completed, then if I let go it will usually stay on.
But then the power button is unresponsive unless I hold it again which in turn puts it back into a loop. I can hold it down for 10 secs then release then I get power down option but if I select it it goes back into a loop.
Ive tried a recovery which hasn't fixed it and tried using computer to flash a new image but I cant unlock boot loader as when I manipulate the button on the screen where I have to accept. It then goes into a boot loop again causing the device to not unlock/relock.
Im pulling whatever hair I have left out here and am about to give up unless anyone else has any ideas? Its as though the power button either works but sticks on. Or doesn't work at all. depending if I've held it on for a while or not.
Many Thanks

[Q] nexus 7 stuck in annoying boot loop

Hi guys! Just got a nexus 7 1st gen and its stuck in a bootloop. It seems that it thinks the power button is constantly pushed in when its not which is causing it to restart constantly. Ive managed to get it to stay on by wedging down the volume up key but i cant use the sleep/wake or volume up and as soon as i let go of the volume up it thinks the power button has been pressed and asks me if i want to power down, but before i can press anything it resets. I have put new buttons in this morning to no avail and cant find anyone with the same problem and was wondering if anyone one here had any idea?

Fossil q explorist 3 recovery mode help

Hi i have a Fossil q explorist 3 and im having trouble getting into recovery mode.
I uninstalled an app on the watch and its now in a weird bootloop/ unusable state it flashes the watch face and i can access google assistant but nothing else apart from the power off and reboot menu.
Because of this the battery depleted pretty quickly and i couldnt access the recovery menu, I managed to get to the menu once but hit the wrong button and it exited rather than let me reset it
Can anyone help me get the watch into recovery mode I have tried
1. Powering off the watch via the menu and trying the button combinations of top button and power ,bottom button and power , letting go of the power button and holding either button and repeatedly pressing the buttons after the vibration when it turns on.
2. I have also tried tapping on the fossil logo on the screen after it turns on and sliding from the top left to bottom right of the screen and nothing has got me back in to the recovery menu.
So does anyone know how to get in to that menu also i opened up the watch and see a few test points if that could be used i dont mind trying to solder/bodge a usb connection if that would be an option
Cheers in advance
I have posted this in wear os forum too but have had no replies hope someone in here can help.
