so when i try to resize the parition recovery it , i deleted oem and recovery partition then i recreated them and add 5 mb to recovery but after i reboot phone got breaked and i use blankflash again and the size of partition didn't change
so if you can help me or contact the admin of the site please i need help to resize the recovery partition
i'm new here in this forum

bro your problem might be wrong formatted system and cache. see the above lines 51 285MB 1091MB 805MB ext2 oem---it should be ext4
52 1091MB 1359MB 268MB cache
53 1359MB 5654MB 4295MB ext2 system---it should be ext4
54 5654MB 31.3GB 25.6GB userdata it should be f2fs type formatted
may be you formatted your system partitions with wrong format type.
bro then try this type "fastboot erase all" it erases everything then do as i say once
1.flash "fastboot flash partition gpt.bin" (file to be used that you had used above the file of motoz play one https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7X6bQHmiX_BY29Damx5ejEyX1U)
2.flash "fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img"(file in the above given link)
3.flash "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"(in the above link the files are there)
reboot bootloader then go to recovery mode it shows android error symbol then press power and then vol up then erase data, cache, and mount system then reboot to bootloader now flash "fastboot flash recovery twrp(latest 64bit) link http://moto-roms.netlib.re/twrp-3.2.1-1-potter.img
then see if boots to recovery if it went to recovery then wipe everything and do advanced wipe wipe cache ,system with ext4 format type and data with f2fs type format individually and now erase all items selected in the advanced wipe menu and factory reset then reboot to recovery and now copy the latest debloated stock rom or twrp flashable stock link https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/development/rom-twrp-flashable-stock-builds-t3675616
then flash it.
boot into os once evrything working fine now you can move to any custom rom .
TIP:i dont know if you have previous twrp backup of efs but if you have you are safe save a efs copy once every thing works fine.
ALL THE BEST.

Samsung Glaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) NO DOWNLOAD MODE present!

-Hello. A friend gave me a phone wich he supposed to manipulate. He installed some wierd firmwhare.
Ok. What I want to do is flashing Stock ROM back.
Problem I face. Cannot enter Download Mode. When i press the button combination it drops me a Chinese menu. Even translating this menu (google) it has no Download Mode option.
Model: SM-G935F
-phone NOT rooted (Cannot root it since the method I find implies flashing through Odin. CANNOT ENTER DOWNLOAD MODE).
-USB Debugging Enabled
-Unlocked Bootloader (oem-unlock)
I try: "adb reboot download mode" It reboots into normal mode.
When I try to flash stock recovery.img or TWRP image trough fastboot I get the following message:
C:\Apps\platform-tools>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
target reported max download size of 134217728 bytes
sending 'recovery' (45048 KB)...

(Anything i try to flash, same problem. size too large). And I got the right FW/img's for SM-G935F from sammobile.com
Please someone help me. I don't know what the hell to do.

After searching this model name, it's probably mediatek Galaxy J5. Check their forums.

Bricked with BL moto-msm8952-B1.09

Hello,
i think i bought a bricked device from ebay. I am only able to get into fastboot but my device does not boot and i am also unable to get into recovery or flash a twrp.
Tried several unbricking posts from this forum but nothing worked. Also i never saw a moto-msm8952-B1.09 version of the bootloader (and i also do not now where this came from).

Any tips or ideas how this can be fixed?
The bootloader B1:09 is from the Oreo firmware, the last Nougat bootloader was B1:07.
The fact you can boot to fastboot is a good sign; most of the unbricking posts require that fastboot is not functioning.
For some reason, the previous owner has flashed Android 6.0.1 onto the device, which is not a good idea. If your device was able to boot, the moment you used an OTA update you'd have likely hard bricked.
Try to flash the Oreo firmware from this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79100802&postcount=1056 use the lolinet link. Use the instructions from the initial post of this thread to guide you
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138
If that doesn't work, it may point to a more serious fault with the hardware (possible flash memory failure) and thus I'd contact the seller for a refund or return.
Thanks for your help.

I would agree, based on your available evidence. It looks like the flash is not being committed to the flash memory, despite fastboot reporting the writing went okay. I would suggest contacting your seller and try to get a return/refund (hopefully you're covered by eBay Buyer Protection, which should apply if the listing mentioned the device working). Typically, the only way to get this issue repaired is to send the device to a service centre - I don't know if the service centre would replace the motherboard for free (if you're covered by EU consumer laws) or if they'd require proof of purchase.

I saw someone made qfil files for Moto E from a working device and used that to Unbrick dead dead devices. Google "create qfil firmware for Motorola" you'll find that video, give it a try if that worked we all be saved.

Need to go back to stock, bootloop

Hello,
So my U Ultra was rooted, then unrooted.
Months later, the phone has some sort of software issue causing it to restart (probably a corrupt file)
Now i want to take it back to being a fully unrooted stock.
Please see details below
Fastboot getvar all:

It's an Indian region phone i think, since the ota files i find online with the matching radio reads HTC INDIA
So i've tried the sdcard method as well as fastboot flash zip method, trying with 2 different files:
OTA_OCEAN_N[email protected]80211.2_63.34_release_522885kzkqxuugr4zk0yr5.zip
link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=746010030569965797
&

link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=3700668719832236174
Yes, i renamed it to "2PZFIMG.zip" and placed it on root of the sdcard,
for the OTA file mentioned above, i end up with the following error:
"99 RU_UNKNOWN_FAIL terrible mishap with original ret: 0
99 RU_UNKNOWN_FAIL terrible mishap with original ret: 0
99 RU_UNKNOWN_FAIL terrible mishap with original ret: 0"
For the 2nd zip, I receive the following error:
"19 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in android-info missing or i
19 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in android-info missing or i
FAIL19 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in android-info missing or i"
fastboot flash zip concludes with the following error:
"zeeraks-mbp-2:~ zeerakata$ /Users/zeerakata/Documents/android/platform-tools/fastboot flash zip /Users/zeerakata/Documents/android/platform-tools/rom.zip

I'm not a pro at this, but i've been playing around with android rooting and stuff for a while now.
Please help me with this.
Need to go back to stock
UPDATE:
So i downloaded a file with the following title,
2PZFIMG_OCEAN_NOTE_DU[email protected]80211.2_63.34_release_524957_combined_s
and it is successfully flashed via SDcard method:
I still am stuck on a bootloop, i cant make it past the htc logo, onto the loading screen
PLEASE HELP
Found the right RUU
The OTA file mentioned wouldnt flash, so i found an RUU of the same variant.
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603866517
It did the job, but seems like this wasn't it for my phone. Seems like a hardware issue to me since it would randomly freeze, even followed by a long-timed vibration till it turned off. So i'll be taking it for repair to a shop.

Bricked moto g5 plus, going absolutely insane trying to fix it

I have a bricked phone, tried a lot of fixes, and i mean alot, so i found no other way than to write a thread.
The phone doesnt turn on, while connected to a pc, it enters a bootloop,, and can only access fastboot mode.
Tried flashing stock firmware, different ones since i read that the problem may be that the firmware i tried to flash was older, but i even downloaded the latest and still nothing.
Here is the latest fastboot getvar

I am thinking the bootloader is locked. if it is then try "fastboot flashing unlock_critical" (no qoutes) and then run the batch files to flash the moto software.

Locking the bootloader when it's not booting correctly is just asking for trouble.

Already unlocked it again, i noticed that it says carrier: retus and ive been trying to install retail firmwares, does it make any difference? Im going to try to install a retus firmware and see if that solves the problem.

Already did that and still on bootloop, could it be the battery? i mean i cant get it to do anything if its not plugged, cant even get it to bootloader.

Maybe, did your device fall from somewhere before it happened.

Then it could be possible problem of lose connection of battery from device which cause bootloop and other problems. Does the device get charged or just show charging?. But still it could be problem of hardware. You can try opening the device and connecting the lose cable to get the device fixed.

[Partially solved]FS Half-borked... help.

I need help. I flashed the wrong .img to userdata and now it refuses to be formated:
Code:
[email protected]:~$ fastboot -w
Erasing 'userdata' OKAY [ 55.085s]
/usr/lib/android-sdk/platform-tools/mke2fs failed with status 1
fastboot: error: Cannot generate image for userdata
I also tried:
Code:
[email protected]:~$ fastboot --force --disable-verification format:ext4:0x1987357000 userdata
Warning: userdata size is 0x1987357000, but 0x1987357000 was requested for formatting.
/usr/lib/android-sdk/platform-tools/mke2fs failed with status 1
fastboot: error: Cannot generate image for userdata
When I get all vars from each slot I get the following differences:
Code:

[Update]After flashing stock (*.032) ROM the phone will boot from slot a but I still get an error when attempting to format userdata:
Code:
[email protected]:~/Downloads/ph-1/032$ fastboot -w
Erasing 'userdata' OKAY [ 52.228s]
/usr/lib/android-sdk/platform-tools/mke2fs failed with status 1
fastboot: error: Cannot generate image for userdata
So far I have not seen any adverse effect on the phone operation, and Storage reports the right sizes. Still, what's going on here? How to fix it?
