The SM-G955U is the Galaxy S8+. There is no "Edge" variant of the S8 or S8+, as they all come with the curved edge screen now.

It cannot be done, the AT&T S7 and S7 Edge G935A/G930A phones cannot be rooted.
There are no successful methods to root the phone so ported or not roms will not work.
If you have a Tmobile branded phone and are on the tmobile network why are you here
in this forum when there is a specific forum for the AT&T S7 and S7 Edge users here?

The model of your S7 Edge is SM-G935FD. You might want to check the Exynos section to search what you are looking for.
I have a quick question. I bought unlocked AT&T G935A Galaxy S7 edge.. Can I use it for Sprint. If so could someone provide the links please.

There are several. None for 8.0 nougat only that 5 Is your bootloader revision. You have to stick with that. But check out the general sections
