Zenpad 10 3s and external hdd unread. - Asus ZenPad 10 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I am the owner of a zenpad 10 z500m p027.
I tried to unplug a 1000 GB external hard drive via the USB port.
The tablet detects the disc but refuses to read it, it accepts USB sticks.
Do you think that ASUS locks the reading capacity of USB?
Would you know a solution to solve this problem?
I specify that the hard drive is perfectly recognized by other Android phones.
I unlocked developer mode and enabled debugging, but nothing works.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Try grabbing USB Mount All from the market. That should fix your issues.

Try using "USB Mount All v.1.3" available on the Marketplace. However your device will lneed to be rooted to use it.

[Q] OTG External exFat hard drive problem

I have a rooted nexus 7 ROM:[CM10.1-20130205-Nightly], 500gb exfat external drive with lots of data, and an OTG cable. I didnt research the apps needed to see the drive after plugging it in--thought it was pnp, like the mouse, keyboard, and famous 3.5 external floppy drive setup.
At first the nexus said it saw the usb device, and a second later it gave the choice to remove the usb device. I tapped remove, as there were no other options. I continued to try reconnecting the cables, even rebooting the nexus--it would not read the drive. i installed stickmount and Paragon NTFS&HFS+ (says it supports exfat,) but no success. I decided to add a powered usb hub to the setup in case there were power issues--still no notifications.
I quickly gave up. I then tried plugging the hard drive into my pc and mac and both failed to read anything on the drive--asking me if i want to format the drive. I dont know if it was the nexus or the Western Digital piece of crap. I am wondering if the nexus wrote something to the drive making it unusable. I have tried several recovery utilities and nothing has found the data. I dont want to waste another drive. Has anyone ran into this issue, know of a way to successfully mount an exfat drive, or possibly help me recover the drive?
Appreciate any help.

8227L_Demo Junsun V1C suddenly doesn't read 64GB USB - PLS HELP!

Hi, dear community.
I bought a USB 3.0 stick, 64GB to load in to my music library. It was working absolutely flawlessly for 2 months or so, then, suddenly, my Android HU doesn't see the USB stick anymore. Like, at all.
I tried formatting with Rufus (latest) to FAT32 multiple times, but this doesn't help.
Other USB flashes work, for example a USB 2.0 8GB variant. Also, my Xiaomi Mi 11 gets recognized, no problems.
Is there something that I can do with this USB 3.0 stick, 64GB? Because, my PC recognizes the USB and it's contents no problem.
Hope you can advise.
Thanks in advance.
