TWRP Oreo P10 Plus backup - Huawei P10 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi,
does exists a TWRP version for Oreo able to do a full backup of the phone ?
I have installed version TWRP 3.2.1-0 Oreo but when I try to do a full backup, TWRP seems not have the permission to create the backup dirs.
May be there are also other problems, but thi is what I noticed.
Someone has a solution for this ?
Thanks for the attention.

LG G2 D803 CM13 cannot install Google Playstore

Hi,
I have an LG G2 and I've just installed Cyanogenmod 13 on it. Its been a long run, but I've come to the end. But now I have another problem. I cannot install Google Playstore. I've tried with Gapps through recovery, but they ask me to have TWRP, but TWRP cannot be installed on my device since the Canadian version that I have dosen't support Android 6.0. I've tried to install Busybox and retry to install it through recovery. No success. I've tried to remove it manualy in the zip of Gapps, but again not a success. Is there a way to install it without recovery ? Or install TWRP for android 6 on the D803 device ? Or have a Gapps that dosen't have busybox on it ? Or another alternative to Gapps ?
Thanks !

[ROM][Flo] Phoenix os 1.1.0 root gapp 6.0.1

Hi everyone, I just create a xda account to share this rom version. In fact I have been in xda for a long time but this is my first post. I can't post in ANDROID DEVELOPMENT section. It seems that the number of my posts are not enough so I just post it here. This rom version is made from the original version at phoenix os site, fully root and gapp. This is backup file from twrp.t. I used bootloader 4.05. I don't know if it ok using other bootloader, so I just inform you guys that. Thanks and here is backup download link

You'd have better luck asking this question in the thread for the recovery you're using.
This thread will be reported as it doesn't belong in the development section. However, I'll give you some time to post your question in the relevant thread first.

How to root an original H870 "pie"?

Hi,
after updating through LG program, now I have an original PIE branded rom, but have no twrp nor root.
I'm searching for a guide to install twrp and root to an original and clean pie rom, but I find only old guides.
How to install twrp and root to my original pie rom? Links appreciated
Thanks

Hello!
Why did you not look at the guides section of this forum before asking - that's BASIC forum etiquette!
Please do that, there's a pinned (!) guide for unlocking the bootloader and installing twrp, so you don't even have to search.
So next time please do search and not just claim to do so (searching requires actual looking) and don't start another useless thread.
Regards
PS if you're absolutely clueless, ask in the noob friendly thread (again, pinned).

I already looked to that guides, infact I used them to install twrp and root when I was on nougat or oreo, because they are guides that were created in nougat or oreo times or, best, they clearly state for what version they're right. But reguarding android pie I have not found anything by "date" or by "clear reference to pie"... Have I been clear?

Nothing has changed, it still works, as I myself can confirm (just did it last week, when camera started freezing on me, going back from an Android 10 ROM - flashed stock Oreo via lgup, upgraded, installed twrp via fastboot, rooted, np).
But to reiterate... Why exactly didn't you ask in the corresponding thread? Sorry, but I'm a stickler for uncluttered forums.

I learned I couldn't use TWRP on MIUI 12. Got an error every time I tried to install. Instead I installed Orangefox recovery. Never regretted that. Orangefox is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/official-recovery-orangefox-recovery-project-r11-0.3941822/ The thread itself is a good help to install as is Orangefox own site.
