Zte A2017 chinese version and official oreo - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Hi there,
I have an Axon 7 A2017 Chinese version (ROM 125gb RAM 4gb).
I'm currently using the AOKP Official on it.
However, I've recently heard that the Chinese version has supposedly received the Official release of Oreo Stock (Stable not beta). Is that true? or is it just rumour?
If the answer is that it is actually true, how should I proceed with it if I want to install that Stable 8.0 Stock.
Is Rom like that [ROM][A2017G/U][V3.0.0B01_2 - 8.0.0][stock] SL!M based on the beta or stable. Also it specify A2017G/U. Is it compatible with the A2017 China version?
Thank you in advance

I answered you under ROM section.
In short : all beta, pretty stable but for you to judge.
V3.0.0B01 can be rooted, chinese modem can be flashed.
V3.0.0B10 (latest imo) can be EDL flashed. Stable as i tested it myself but without root.

is there official android 6.0 rom from MIUI

I heard that MIUI 8 is aveliable for our redmi 2...problem is that I think it is on android 5.1.1.
Is there official android 6.0 version?
You are thinking absolutely right, MIUI 8 is available for Redmi 2/Prime based on Android 5.1.1 and there is no official MIUI 8 on Android Marshmallow.
But you can get custom ROMs of Marshmallow & even of Nougat for Redmi 2/Prime.

Then you can return to stock, but it will be based on Android Lollipop. You can also try Resurrection Remix or Mokee Rom. However they will not give you the MIUI experience, but they will provide the best of custom ROMs.
There isn't and it will never have

Is there any Oreo ROM works for dual SIM on Axon 7?

I have recently bought an Axon 7 and tried to install many Oreo 8.1 ROM posted here, but none of them works for dual SIM.
This is seems a known issue for all Oreo ROMs.
Just want to confirm it is still true for all Oreo ROMs, or there is any fix for this problem.
I have been searching around and found nothing.
Thanks!
Yes, it is true for all current Oreo roms and no, there won't any fix unless ZTE releases their official Oreo rom or someone is able to fetch the source fix from them. Even so, you can wait until LOS 15.1 is officially released, I heard the guys behind that rom might have a very stable Oreo source (from ZTE maybe), but don't quote me on this, I know nothing.

Q: Can I switch from Beta to Stable with Anti-Rollback?

When I'm running 8.9.6 china beta, can I flash the last stable release via Mi Flash Tool?
8.9.6 i newer than V9 last stable (I think 9.6.10).

MIUI version doesn't matter, what matters is the anti-rollback version of the rom you trying to install. If the anti-rollback version is equal to or greater than your current anti-rollback version, then it’s safe to flash.

So if the bootloader is locked, then stock recovery should stop the process from bricking our phones, in case the anti rollback version is lower, is that correct?

Switch from EU stable to Global stable

Hi, i'm on the latest eu stable rom 11.0.3 and i want to flash the global rom.
Can i use xiaomi flash tool to come back to global rom stable?
Last fastboot global rom version available is 11.0.1 but i read somewhere that flashing an older firmware will brick the device.
How can i flash the global rom in a safe way?

Rooting and another question

Hello. Could somebody link me to an up to date guide on how to root this phone with the latest MIUI version? I am running MIUI Global 12.0.1 Stable.
Also another question I have is, should we be looking forward to future MIUI versions or the updates for this phone have been discontinued? Is there going to be Android 11 based MIUI from Xiaomi or we're stuck with this one? If I were to root would I be able to install any new MIUI version that comes out afterwards? Thanks.
