What micro sd card is good for 4k, and slow motion video - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Accessories

Looking at the samsung 128 evo and samsung 128 evo plus and Sandisk Ultra 200GB Micro SDXC UHS-I Card. What micro sd card should I get. Thank you

I shoot 4k video with an S8+ on a Samsung Pro+ and have had no issues, and do not expect to have any when I move it to the S9+ next week either.
EDIT: I can confirm that I have no issues recording 60 fps UHD video to a Samsung Pro+ 256GB MicroSD on my S9+

Where are these UFS cards that have Read speeds of 520mbs? They don't appear to be available yet even though they were announced in 2016.....

If want smooth 4k filming then go for Sandisk Extreme Pro A1 variants as it build for great 4k experience. Ultra optimized for 1080p Full HD but it still can record 4k very well too
Sent from my Galaxy S9+ using XDA Labs

I'm assuming the people asking having 64GB and perhaps need the extra storage? I know at 64 I'd feel comfortable having the extra I have 128GB And thus far, have struggled to make any impact and I capture photots and slow mo on a daily basis, the file sizes arent large when saved. I'm using 32GB for just my music alone, and thats maybe 80% full.
Slow motion (not super slow mo) I imagine would take up much more space (especially as 1080p) as the files can be as long as you want really. Super slow mo is 720p.

lg g2 which microsd and which speed?

Hi I have a LG 320K (korean version) with removable microsd card feature which one I can buy and what class?
microSDHC (HC 1 speed) or microSDXC? (XC 1 speed).
Do I need the exterme sandsik versions or the above is enough? I will use it for movie, music and file management mostly photos but sometimes normal video recording.
Thanks.
Both will work work just fine. For your usage, go with what's cheaper but as with technology, futureproof your spending by getting what's the latest available.

[Q] Galaxy S5 filming & compatibile memory SD card

Greetings!
I purchased Samsung microSDHC card, Class 10: Write Max 7MB/s and read: 24MB/s.
I'm willing to know, if I film 1080p or 1080p 60, will it be saved on the card?
I alredy had an issue with SanDisk 128GB memory card even with recording 720p. Videos were unavailable to watch.
Thank you in advance!

Read/Write speeds on Z3 MicroSD card slot

Hello,
I have Z3 Dual I am trying to find out the read/write speeds of the internal MicroSD card slot.
I would like to buy the fastest card as I will be using it as the main hdd however there's no point buying a really fast card if the port itself can't utilize the cards max speeds.
Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance!
Hey,
Just tested on Z3 Dual D6633 european model with Goodram SDXC UHS-I U3 capable of write speed 90MB/s and read at 95MB/s which I use with sport camera, on z3 dual I get almost 31MB/s at write speed and 41MB/s at read speed similar results as on z5 dual E6633, tested with androbench and selecting sd for test.

Legend... thanks! Exactly the answer I was looking for. So I guess buying a UHS-1 card would be overkill? What what be the next step down from a UHS-1 card? A normal class 10?
Yup, Sandisk 128GB UHS-I U1 CL10 read is 35MB/s and write 18MB/s so standard for most of class 10 card and price is the same as UHS-I U3 64GB.

Onboard storage speed versus MicroSD Speed

Has anyone measured the actual read and write speed of the onboard 512GB storage?
And how might if compare to the S20 Ultra onboard speed?
