Yes don't use the N8 app. Stock app is without dots...

I use the stock one. I didn't change it. You need to uninstall the N8 apps...

Yea, but i don't know how because in applications settings there isn't this function. There are only disable and force stop.

The problem is N8 air command app that must using N8 smart select, uninstal it and you can still using live message app from keyboard, and your smart select will be back to original FE without dot.

Santoso thanks for your answer, but I don't uninstall it. I have got in applications settings only two buttons: disable and force stop. I think only way is hard reset in this situation.

No you just need to uninstall the update. I already uninstall the update cause I don't like the dots as you. The app is called Capture Samsung

Smart select is already at your system app, you just need uninstal update air command app

You can't uninstall a system app if you re not rooted [emoji848]

Open UCCW, select my widget, select (ADD/REMOVE OBJECTS), select (IMAGE 1), select (EDIT OBJECT), select (IMAGE 1), slide down and select (IMAGE).

You don't install it. You place both the apk and the odex in /system/app or /system/priv-app. You may need changing permissions, just set them like the other files in those folders.

Then it might not work if you're on 4.2.2 and you're trying to use a stock 4.4.2 app.
Or are you on 4.4.2?

I'm using a Flex rom on 4.2.2 and its Email app is awesome. The buttons are shifted around and it Reply/Forward popup only lists "Reply All" when there is more then 1 contact. On the normal Verizon email app, I kept accidentally hitting Reply All and sending the email back to me, which is stupid to include yourself in the "TO" field when Replying All.
I want to back them up and see if they work on the Verizon Stock.

Go to the Playstore and download/install the app called "3minit Quicklauncher Settings"
it has many options in it and you can disable the quicklaunch buttons in notifications
panel. Here is the Playstore download link for 3minit Quicklauncher:

Do not ask someone to pirate software for you.
Forget sideloading, beta versions, etc. Just go into S7 settings, find General Management, go to Language and Input, then Languages and add US English. Now go to edit and DELETE EVERY OTHER LANGUAGE except US. Reboot phone. Longpress the home button and you should now have Google Assistant. Now go back to Languages and reinstall your own preferred language, and make sure it's at the top of the list. That's it!

U have to update google play services. Google is rolling assistant out to many devices on nougat, and its done trough the updated play services

Same here (Norway). It's only supported in English (and German and Spanish I think)

I think you're right. If you load English US or UK as a second language and put it second in your list of languages, then maybe GA will work in English.

First Thing I would is factory reset the device. Don't have that problem.

I am facing the same problem, after updating the nov6 update, the home button stopped working, it does not bring back the home page , any solution for that?
That's a result of November update. Just wait for another update
When I switch to Mi A1 regular launcher, the home button doesn't bring me back to home from the right screen. It does work on Google now page. Very weird. I'm using Pixel2 launcher, however, and no problems here.

Didn't work for me... Stil Nov 6th
Dec update came just today, after install - "home" button works correct, no other visible changes after 2h from restart
