Me too... Thought about doing the one that is posted...this waiting sucks...
I saw an article yesterday that Sprint users have been getting the Oreo update already, not seen it yet personally.
My lady got an oreo update 2 day ago for s8 so should be close

ok I have searched and searched. and checked for the update on my phone. and checked on kies but kies said my firmware is unsupported. and my phone says there is no update. has anybody found out anything. or know when it will be released.
I read somewhere on here that it was coming out this month. Who knows if it is going to happen or not because it is all hear say until there is proof. There is already a leaked 4.3 floating around so you may want to give it a try.

And exactly as was predicted here by me and many others: deb (LTE) not getting the lollipop treatment.
I also guess it's not going to be any time soon...running an AOSP build that works perfectly fine, so it's not thaaaat bad...still disappointing.

I must have answered this question a million times now. Only Samsung knows when the update will drop and they don't give any notification beforehand. Anyone who tries to say otherwise or tries to tell you when they think it'll drop is merely speculating. So the update will come when it does, whether that's today, tomorrow, a week, a month, a year, or never. Nobody here knows at all when
When it does come out, I would guess you will get android 5.1.1. That's what the 8.0 models are getting, and their updates started later than the 10.1 updates
Also, this has been bugging me for a while, do you and DUHAsianSkillz have some sort of intercontinental franchise going? :silly:

Samsung bosses gave mid month deadline to tab 4 updates, it reads in youmobile, so firmware should come in a week or max 1.5 weeks! otherwise some ppl r gonna lose their jobs

YouMobile told that Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 can expect update at late july or early august. Maybe there is any chance for earlier update as we all know that even samsung doesn't know when update will be pushed into ota .

It's now mid-February and we're still on the November security update. Several high-risk exploits have been found and patched in the subsequent months, but we're left exposed. Anyone know if we have any legal remedy for AT&T's dereliction?
Well there is a android N build out now on Xda with the latest February security patch so I doubt AT&T has abandoned support.

I'm glad xda has not abandoned support, but that doesn't excuse AT&T for failing to push out the updates.

Well, both comments are accurate, but you're right that the timing was amusing.
Nougat came last night for me, shame it takes months for such high quality and priced phones
Over the years I've noticed that just prior to a release of a Preview or incremental numeric progression, Google's apps undergo a flurry of updates. Seems like there's been a ton of updates to Google apps over the last week or so. Just speculating. Wanted to point it out. I think we're going to see one or the other on the first March Monday or Wednesday. The first P Preview was released on March 7 (a Wednesday) last year.
You definitely have a point, all of a sudden almost all Google apps are getting updates. Let's see what we have in store for us.
