apps in full screen - Phoenix OS News, Q&A & Development

Is there a way to enable fullscreen mode on apps and having them in "fullscreen" without the banner on top? When on Windows 10 when you go to fullscreen mode the video uses the fullscreen. Thanks for everything you do.

[Q] Setting a wallpaper in portrait mode from gallery

I want to be able to set a picture in portrait mode as my wallpaper without it turning into landscape mode. I see there is an option that lets the wallpaper not move when I switch screens but even after doing that, the picture is still only able to be set as landscape. (It's a picture from my gallery) I want the full picture on the screen without having to move screens or anything
HELP PLEASEEE
Never mind, I found out how and for any of you having the same question as well, download the app "Wallpaper set and save"

Locking screen rotation?

I've enabled home screen rotation and true tablet UI as per http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800042
However I haven't found a solution to lock the screen in landscape mode. I've tried several apps and widgets that claim to do that but none work on the N7. All they do is force the screen in portrait mode.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Maybe this will help..
Have home screen set to autorotate, then set your tablet to be autorotate on top via notification dropdown. Then put tablet in landscape mode by holding it that way. While its in landscape mode do to the notification bar (dropdown) and lock the rotation. It should stay landscape.
Great, that works. I hadn't thought to dig among the settings in the popup menu.

[Android] Any way to move or hide the Note Saver preview window?

I love using the Create Pad for note taking while reading (i.e. using Note Saver), but enabling note taking automatically opens the small live preview window in the bottom right of the screen.
Is there any way to close, resize or reposition this preview window without stopping note-taking mode?
The window is not too bad in landscape, but in portrait mode it often covers the content I'm trying to take notes of!
I am sure this still bugs most of us with the Android version. I decided to root and found if you disable com.hanvon.portableink (Floating Windows) that you can toggle all you want. Nothing happens apart from it toggles mode. If anyone knows of a non root way of disabling this it could be handy,

Force Netflix Immersive Mode?

I love the immersive mode option for YouTube, but would also love that option for Netflix as well. Is there a developer option to force apps or at least give the option to select immersive mode?
The app itself allows you to adjust the screen. Just hit the screen button on the bottom right

Click to collapse
Yeah, I know about Netflix's option, but it retains the aspect ratio. I'm talking about Samsungs option to force the immersive mode, like other apps and YouTube allows.

Is there a non-root way to disable immersive mode and only enable it per app?

Hi,
I know in the past there was an easy interface to allow you to choose per app whether or not to hide the navigation bar (home touch buttons).
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to always keep the navigation bar and status bar and to never have it go into immersive mode? With the taller screen, I'd like to give that a shot for a while.
There is a thread here about per app immersive mode: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/help/hiding-home-button-lg-g6-t3583536
I'm looking for a 'disable' immersive mode completely type of functionality.
Thanks for any assistance.
