I got the 10.8 and it feels great in hand whilst sitting up..But when lying on your back in bed it's a little too thin and hard to hold, feel like your going to drop it on your face..
I've ordered a back cover for it, just waiting for it to come. Hopefully will make it nicer to hang onto whilst lying down..

The 10.8" tablets feels a good weight I the hand but the back & front glass is very slippy you definitely need some sort of case. I have the Samsung s 10.5 & the back is not slippy at all & even the glass is less slippy & less reflective I guess Samsung put some sort of coating on the glass?

I was surprised to see the main camera bulges out, makes me nervous setting the tablet down.

I bought this tablet as an upgrade from my SHIELD Tablet K1 and it feels great to hold, it's light for it size and the rounded edges are very comfortable

handy with the right case
I have to say im liking mine. I have bought the case with cover and the gel case. I found the flip case to always need flipping to access, so would tend to just go for my laptop instead. Having the gel case, I found it much easier to use and fitted a glass screen protector as obviously its going in bags without a cover. The case is grippy enough that I can prop it up on any table surface without worrying about it sliding over. The haptic feedback is terrible though. Feels like something you get on a $50 smartphone. The 10.8" is a great size too. I find myself pretty much always watching media in landscape mode and everything else portrait.

I too got this as a replacement for a K1 and found that this is harder to hold compared to the K1. This feels really slippy compared to the all plastic K1. Getting a case for it to have more grip.

Device is very comfortable to hold, except the metal edges at the top and bottom can be mildly irritating after holding the phone in one hand for a long time.
Other than that the device feels great, with solid build quality and no rough edges elsewhere.
imo its pretty comfortable, would prefer a little more rounded edges tho, and tighter top/bottom metaledges. But overall happy
I find it kind of slippery when operating with one hand while riding my bike. I don't get a firm grip on it as I do with my Samsung S5.
Ordered Brushed Shockproof Case Slim Soft Rubber Back Cover from Ebay.
Above written after the first time. I don't find it harder to handle any more, in fact easier due to the smaller size.
while i've had the phone just over 24 hours, it's super comfy to hold, nice size, weight, the FRP is really nice to touch, and feels like a pico thinkpad.
Except for the edge, which digs into my palm...
I'll repeat what everyone is saying. The overall feeling of the phone in the hand is great, except for the corners. They dig into my palms pretty badly.
I like the rubberised coating, feels like the Nexus 5 did. The corners can get uncomfortable after a while, they really dig into your palm. Easy to reach everything on the phone and the volume rocker being above the power is long overdue for Sony.
Oh, well. How weird I'm only checking the review section now, after more than 4 years after I bought mine (and after it recently broke - long story).
Seems like I was the only one that appreciated those "sharp" edges? I just loved holding the phone on my pinky and sliding the edge right between the pinky and the ring finger.
Insanely comfortable and ergonomic, if you ask me. Quite the opposite applies to devices with bottom firing speakers.

The design and materials are great and the build quality too.
However if you have small or middle hand like mine (size M-L) it is not easy to grip.
Without case the phone easily slips from my hand bc of the back glass is very slippery.
I'm left handed and I have to use this phone with right hand bc all buttons on the right side.

MIUI has fullscreen gestures.... best feature ever! So you can control it even easier.

You can use full screen gestures or mirror the buttons.
The design is so much similar to iPhone X, with sharper corners and edges. It feels fine with the silicone case that is included in the box, but without the case it really hurts your hands with its sharp corners.

Very comfortable phone when holding in hand.
It feels very comfortable to hold and thanks to the smaller bezels, the phone is smaller than my Mate 9 yet has a larger screen.

Very comfy but I also added this : Mate20pro Case Compatible with Huawei Mate 20 Pro Cover Luxury Slim Thin Commuter Woven Pattern Hawawi M20pro 6.39 Inch to make the fit even more comfy and non slippable
Fits in the hand just fine. (came from a p10 plus)
Only issue is its like a bar of soap without a case.

I guess you also have the Twilight version? I've heard the others are more grippy thanks to their textured rear.

Yeah twilight here.
Looks great. Just slippy as a slippy thing on a slippy day out.
Got a nice clear backed hybrid case and tempered glass screen protector so u can at least still see the colour pattern and be able to hold my phone lol.

The glass is too slippery, for the first time I had to buy a bumper case, as I kept fearing it might slip from my hand. Otherwise, it feels sturdy and comfortable.
a much sturdier feel than my S10. the height makes it much easier to use one handed.
My p30 lite is comfortable in my hands. Feels cheap compared to my p10 mind. Also I've only had this phone for a few days and the glass back panel is already shattered so not having a good start with it!
The most slippery phone I've ever owned, will not sit on any surface that has even a very small tilt without sliding off, sometimes starts so slowly you don't notice until it's hit the floor
Flat on the side of the bath, right in the middle, 2 mins later smash into the bath, arm of sofa, only a couple degree tilt on it, again right in the middle, 2 mins later bang hits the floor, same on my knee, the thing is made of some frictionless voodoo magic
Got a Spigen rugged armor case today so no more of that
I thought the S9 was slippery but this is crazy slippery
Such a shame the back and sides arent cutted like in p30 pro, cause p30 with that round sides isnt that handy, that it could be with its size. S10 has better ergonomy imo because of its shape. But p30 is still good option among all that pans

Hey guys, I have a question. Does that textured back offer enough grip to be able to rock the phone without a case? Or do you find it's too slippery?

In my experience it has some grip with moist hands. But not enough with dry hands.
Sent from my Pixel 5
For me personally it has enough grip, i was scared holding the 4a because it's really slippery but the 5 feels fine and has a decent amount of grip.
I can easily use it with one hand without having the feeling it could drop anytime.
I thought I was a fan of big phones and was a little concerned about the difference in the size of the phone especially as I had my old 3XL at the side of it. When the screens are both on you then notice that the actual screen size difference is very small despite the 3XL looking far bigger. The 5 feels light and actually better in the hand. I do like the textured back although I will be covering it in a case
