Dimming is really satisfying, even has a night mode and invert colors by default.

I am not satisfied with the dimming. Its extremely bright inspite being at lowest level ?? i wish it could have better display brightness levels. My old redmi note 5 pro gets way dimmer and was comfortable to use in a dark room. This phone sucks and hurt the eyes ??

The Honor Play can get really dark at minimum brightness. Makes it really easy to use at night when the lights are off.

is there way to calibrate so the graylish effect must be less dull?is there a way to fix that?
the problem is android 9, which blocks many apps that can darken the screen. Night mode is too bright for my eyes in the dark of night. I only found an app called flux which is a bit darker with root
Night mode always helps, but minimum brightness should be lower. I don't like it

Minimum brightness is something Honor has always done really well. The display can get nice and dark while still being clear and colorful enough to use.

It's not hurting my eyes at midnight and I'd say it's more than enough.
It has a 'Eye Care' option to filter blue light.
No problem to browse or read at night for me.

Minimum brightness isn't too bad, it's definitely not as dark as my Pixel was, but it does go quite low. Definitely low enough for bedtime browsing :good:
