The minimal brightness is quite bright. It indirectly forced you to sleep earlier because it's too bright in the dark.

Agreed! I have resorted to using a dimmer app. Not perfect, but it makes reading in bed possible again.

Minimum brightness is very good, I don't ever think it is too bright when I want it dim in a dark room.

The Honor Play can get really dark at minimum brightness. Makes it really easy to use at night when the lights are off.

is there way to calibrate so the graylish effect must be less dull?is there a way to fix that?
the problem is android 9, which blocks many apps that can darken the screen. Night mode is too bright for my eyes in the dark of night. I only found an app called flux which is a bit darker with root
Night mode always helps, but minimum brightness should be lower. I don't like it

Minimum brightness isn't too bad, it's definitely not as dark as my Pixel was, but it does go quite low. Definitely low enough for bedtime browsing :good:

The brightness in the sun is good but it can't be said that it is brilliant or fabulous.
Pff... Its rather BAD!
are we talking adaptive brightness or just the general brightness levels?
In bed it gets pretty bright, not good. But it's not that bad either.
