~Hey, could you pinpoint me where to find a guide to update the phone? Because I cannot find a proper link/thread. Thanks in advance.~
I found and have been reading (all the posts from) the thread about the Firmware Finder. But I tried all the methods to update the .130 to the full-OTA on .161 and there is always a mismatch in the expected downloading size of the update.
So, would it be recommended to unlock the bootloader and flash the rom through TWRP? (butI think I read it is not possible to unlock the BL because Huawei is not giving away anymore any unlock codes, isn't it?

You can talk with Grarak on Twitter and ask him how to solve this issue and if it's possible to go back on marshmallow from emui5
already done so, zero response
Asked huawei for rollback link
Same problem here, so I emailed huawei for a rollback link. I'm on NRD90M so normally should be able to revert to original MM... No response so far...

And how can we go back to mm, is there a tool to do it? I have tried to flash mm but I'm not able because system and cust partition are bigger on stock mm firmwares, so once installed nougat we are not able to go back on mm. Basically they have to release a tool witch will automatically repartition system and cut partitions or release a mm firmware with smaller partitions....Oh sorry they didn't respond, I'm curious about they're response, if they will ever replay to you e-mail.

Well, thats whats the NRD90M build is made for, so you would be able to return to MM Its a build that should give the opportunity to have a rollback... However, what I have learned is that you need a specific updatefile to do this... This updatefile, does not exist (?)

Tried to do that 10 times still the same size
Hi,
Same issue for me. It's only 1.25GB update when I perform update request.
Already done the rollback to go back to MM with the B160 version. But when ask again for a new update request using HiCare, it's always the same update of 1.25GB and not the 1.99GB one.
My device is L31 too and no root or other thinks.
I have downloaded last last HiCare app but same issue, I really do not understand why an original stock device do not get the appropriat update...
Perform reset 3 or 4 times but always the same issue...
****ing "NRD90M test keys" version...
Other people are in the same case ? Any official help or tips for Huawei Service ?
Thanks
according to me i should try with back to mm> twrp and root> flash N
You need to be on B160 then go to HiCare app ( the one from playstore ) then update from there.

I have already perform rollback to B160 and try to update after with the new app HiCare in PlayStore but same issue...
I had the same issue. This worked for me: Rollback to B160 via Rollback Image provided by Huawei. Then updated to B161 & then updated to B371, both steps via Firmware Finder and Firmware Finder Proxy. Now all seems to be working fine, no more 'NRD90M test keys' nonsense and missing stuff. Bluetooth is working fine which is my main requirement as this device is used for app testing, involving a lot of Bluetooth.

The safest way to reset and reflash the ROM is dload. You can doald the rollback package and after that the full Android 6 package. Both are available on the official Huawei site
Download Huawei Firmware Finder. You'll see a lot of available firmware. It's official.

Go to settings, about tablet and start tapping build number, eventually it will say you are a developer. Now in the settings menu you will see "developer options" tap that and scroll down to demo mode and turn it off.
See if that works.

Hi,
Thank you, but it is already on off...
Not sure then, if you do a Google search with Huawei and demo mode there are lots of suggestions.
Maybe try turning demo mode on, rebooting then turning it off to see if that has any effect. Otherwise I don't know.

Hi,
I have already search how to uninstall demo and even tried lot of stock rom.. but did not found a working solution..
If someone else have an idea...
Thanks
Just thinking out loud here for a second but I wonder it it may be hard coded in.. have you tried HiSuite to recover it? I would suggest that you that you could unlock the boot loader but from what I been able find /read there isn't a custom recovery for your model.. Have you tried downloading the correct firmware for you phone and reflashing it with Huawei Multi-tool as it has a repair/recover option in it and it works great with the M3.. you can get it over in the Honor 8 forum in there Kernel section.. also works for unlocking boot loaders flashing custom recoveries it a real handy program..

Hi,
Sorry to be late...but yes, I have already tested Hisuite...but I have a message that my Pad is not supported and have to send it to after sale service....
Thank for help
Hi,
A demo mode device should not be sold to customers. If you have the original box, the password for the demo should be on it. on the demo mode touch the brand logo than enter the password.
this is the only way you can remove the demo on Huawei.
