[Q] Anyone else with Exchange server setup issues?

As the title says. The Galaxy Tab Exchange setup doesn't allow me to specify server to which it should connect. And our corporate Exchange server is not the same as my email address (mailadress is first name -dot- lastname -at- corporation - where Exchangeserver is webmail -dot- corporation). Setting up Exchange accounts are instant on any other device I have run (all HTC Android phones, Galaxy S, iPhone, iPad, etc)...
Anyone who has successfully setup an Exchange account on the Galaxy S?
I'm amazed that the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Tab uses completely different Exchange implementations. Galaxy Tab doesn't support categories, free/busy status and more. And also cannot connect to my email account where all other devices and phones can...
Solution
I resolved it myself. Going to the email app and choosing "add account" allows you to set manual settings for the Exchange account. Going through "Settings -> Accounts and Sync" does not allow you to use manual settings.

[Q] Using Google corporate accounts as Exchange accounts

Thanks for the response.
I did do that (had to do that on previous versions as well) but when you click manual, it asks you what type (POP3, IMAP, or Exchange) and I click Exchange. When you click Exchange, it takes you back to the "new" Exchange setup screen I was mentioning earlier. I don't see the "old" screen I am used to.
That's my issue =)
On all previous versions of Android that I have used, I had zero problems telling Android that I was connecting to an Exchange server and putting in my Google Corporate information but using m.google.com as my Exchange server.
When I do this on my Galaxy Tab (Sprint version), it gives me an error that is is unable to connect to the server. On other devices, the username would display as "[email protected]" but on the Galaxy Tab, it displays as "\[email protected]".
I have also noticed that the Email client that the Galaxy Tab is using, looks very different than the stock froyo app.
So I have 2 questions:
1. Anyone else experience this and know of a way for me to correct?
2. Is is possible to install the "factory" android email app?
I am rooted and its a CDMA (Sprint) GT.
Thanks!

Go into Manual setup, from there you can properly enter your proper domain name and server address, and that should sort you out.
Hopefully this will be fixed in the current OTA update. Ive heard some rumors it is but haven't heard if that OTA update patches the root hole....
This probably isn't much help to you as you're on Sprint, but on my Uk Tab I couldn't get Exchange ActiveSync working with my apps for Domains accounts until I flashed a later firmware.
Domain was setup as \[email protected] and Exchange server set to m.google.com. The account would setup but no email would download or send.
When I flashed to a later firmware and tried again it all worked fine.

Dave
Just got the new update from Sprint. Didn't correct my issue. Still get the "Unable to connect to server" when trying to receive mail. My calendar is syncing but not email.
=(
Not sure how but it magically started to work. I was getting the error, changed the "Size to retrieve emails" setting from 2k to "all" and it started to pull mail.
I can't see how that's related but it was the only setting I changed.
Oh well, maybe a delayed fix with the update.

Encrypted email

At my work we're not allowed to use the Android (2.1-2.3) built in email client because it's not encrypted, like the iPhone.
Has this changed in Android 3, or does Samsung provide their own encryption for the Tab?
