S8 goes into bootloop after flashing TWRP for root - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

For some context, I had successfully rooted my S8 with Magisk using TWRP just a few months ago before unrooting. I've decided I want to root my phone again and I went through the same procedure as before but I can't get into recovery mode now for some reason. The phone just auto reboots into the "Samsung Galaxy S8+" splash screen and gets stuck there until I decide to boot into download mode no matter how early I push the buttons to get into recovery mode. I've already flashed my firmware and tried again like 15 times already, so I have nothing to lose. Can someone help me out? Thanks!

Samsung S4 wont stuck in boot

So ive rooted my phone in the past and flashed custom roms(downloaded from samobile).I used triangle away to trick the phone that I was not rooted. I began upgrade process in kies. All went well, but root was gone and supersu didn't work so I uninstalled it. I then decided to root with kingo root. All went well again(root succeeded). Here is where the problem starts: when the device rebooted it shows Samsung logo with these little lights flashing around the logo. I left the phone to boot but 1 hour later its stuck in the same position. I thought it was a boot loop but I accessed recovery and wiped cache partion. Still nothing. I went to recovery again and did factory reset. Still nothing help me please guys.

[FIX?] Stuck on bootloop

Hi all,
I have a UK N910F 32GB Snapdragon Note 4, with a custom Lollipop rom that I've been using with no problems for a few months (http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-bob4-devbase-multi-csc-safe-bloat-t3033881). Yesterday the weirdness began - my Note 4 froze randomly in normal use and rebooted. It was then fine for around 5 hours, then froze again, and when it restarted it would continue to freeze on start-up. At that stage I could still boot into recovery (Clockwork Manager custom recovery), so I tried clearing cache and dalvik, which changed nothing. But now I am unable to do even that - it just gets stuck in bootloop and won't even go into recovery.
When I turn it on, it will stay on the Samsung splashscreen for 10 seconds, then reboot and vibrate twice, then go back onto splashscreen, reboots, etc. I need to remove the battery to stop this. The only thing I am able to do is boot into download mode, where the phone works with Odin fine, and I am able to flash successfully with Odin.
So far I have tried reflashing a stock UK 5.0.1 ROM - it initially gave me the ext4 error but I then got the N910F pit file and repartitioned - Odin flashing completed fine, then still got stuck on splashscreen with "Recovery booting...."). I have also tried to flash CWM and TWRP, which both flash fine, but then the phone still won't boot into recovery - I get:
#1 Battery in
#2 power on
#3 vibrate
#4 screen on RECOVERY BOOTING
Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit : recovery
and doesn't boot into recovery. I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct TWRP and CWM versions.
I've spent all day trawling XDA and the wider web with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I'm hoping it is a softbrick but cannot work out how to get it back. I don't care about losing any data at this stage, just keen to bring my Note 4 back to life!
TL;DR: phone will stay on bootloop when powered on - not caused by failed software install, just started happening randomly. Cannot boot into recovery. Download mode works and can flash with Odin, but all attempted flashes so far haven't helped even when Odin succeeds in flashing.

Have you tried flashing your variants cf-root file with auto reboot unchecked, let it Pass, remove USB abd battery, wait 30 seconds and reboot? Sounds weird.. i know, but for a while that put many users on 5.0.1 softbricks back to their previous working ROM.
I've just done that, it flashed successfully, I took battery and cable out and then rebooted after 30 seconds - it is now booting onto Samsung bootscreen, says:
RECOVERY BOOTING
Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit : recovery
Then reboots itself, same thing happens, reboots itself - back to a bootloop, but with the above written.
What's the fix for the above? Does it mean the recovery installed is wrong for the Android Rom version I have?
Thanks for your help so far, much appreciated.

If you can still boot into the download mode and want to boot into the system as normal, using Samsung's Smart Switch tool will work. Search Google for "Samsung Smart Switch" no quotes, install the program then after finished installing, in the application, click MORE at the Smart Switch window, then click Emergency software recovery and initialization, then follow on-screen steps.

Just tried that, same issue. When it boots after installation, it says "Recovery booting..." in top left corner, then goes into bootloop. Thanks for the tip though.
Any other ideas out on the grapevine? Or is it time for a return?
I'm having the same issue. Tried stock ANK4, BOB4 and BOC3. Only bootloops and can't reach recovery mode.
Than I tried TWRP 2.8.7.0 and "philz_touch_6.59.0-trlte" but they don't work either.
Don't know what to do now. Never had this issue before on any Samsung device
EDIT: Tried Samsung Smart Switch and it dowloaded PDA: OC3 / CSC: OB6 / PHONE: OC3 (DTM). But my Note bootloops furthermore
Saw 2 other guys with the same Problem and no solution here.
And I found this. This could be the same issue we are facing:

Hope there is a dev that can make this for our 910F
Hi all
This is now also happening to me...
Have Odind back to stock and it works for about 4 hours,
Then issue starts...
Reboots randomly
Then reboots to blank screen... No recovery
Again uk note 4. 910f

Help needed! Soft-bricked s5

I decided to root my Samsung Galaxy S5 today which was totally successful. I was able to update SuperSu and install Busybox. So, here is when everything went downhill. I wanted to install a custom recovery (used the unofficial twrp) and flashed it through Odin. It confirmed "PASS!" at the end of it and was excited to start finally installing roms on this bad boy. But after it re-booted it went to recovery & something "over-ridden" it in red text. Can't remember word for word but the screen said "[email protected] something software not allowed" so I tried pulling the battery, and that didn't work so I just used the un-brick guide to flash it back to stock. Once again, Odin confirmed "PASS!" after I downloaded the correct firmware for my phone. But now my phone doesn't boot correctly, it's stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy S5," "powered by android" screen. There is a unlocked lock and has the word "Custom" under it. The phone vibrates when turned on, recovery and download can be accessed, it even makes the [email protected] boot sound but dosen't boot to the setup. I'm very confused and stuck with what to do. Sorry for the essay but I wanted to put everything I did so it can help you guys out on my situation too.
Flash a stock ROM from sammobile .com with ODIN, instructions under the ROM download

Stuck in a boot loop and can't enter recovery mode

All my beloved XDA memebers, I need your help badly.
I screwed up. I'm on TruePureX 6.0 but updated Super SU through TWRP (Popped up a message; I learned later the mistake I made).
1. The phone got stuck at Android boot screen and won't start.
2. I then researched to find out I could flash this SuperSU 2.62 version to get the phone started but nothing happend .
3. I then researched to find out I should fash a clean version of TruePurXMM as SuperSU 2.62 was not working for me. I used this thread
4. But this thread said TWRP 3.0 is minimum so I flashed that from my TWRP 2.8.7
5. I can no longer boot into the TWRP recovery mode as I'm getting fail to start up error on the recovery , Error: Failed to start the kernel
6. I'm not able to connect the phone to PC as the phone is not going in recovery mode and its not going passed the android screen due to super SU upgrade.
I'd immensely appreciate your help as I love my moto X and XDA tweaks, tips.

It sounds like you flashed the recovery to the boot partition instead of recovery. I would suggest flashing back to stock with fastboot, if you can get there.
Im in the same situation. was on my phone, it started freezing. i power cycled the phone and plugged it in. phone stuck on boot animation for several minutes until i powered it down and tried to go to recovery to wipe caches. however the phone stayed on the recovery boot image as well. finally got the phone to boot past the boot animation but was just on a black screen for several minutes. i need serious help. im already downloading the revert back to stock files just in case...please help!
thank you!

My SM-T515 is stuck on the TWRP logo and i can't do anything.

So, I wanted to root my device using magisk but i failed and tried to install TWRP. After installing it, I restarted my device and tried to get into TWRP only to get stuck in the logo screen. All I can do is restart the device, I can't get into download mode and stuff like that, nothing works at all.
I left the tablet overnight and it is still stuck on the logo screen, any help?
EDIT: I have managed to break out of the boot loop by following petapen's instructions inhttps://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/how-to/galaxy-tab-sm-t510-stuck-twrp-3-3-1-0-t4075359! Problem solved!
