How to unlock the bootloader of the SM-N910F (Samsung Galaxy Note 4)?

At first, this is my first post here so please be lenient if I posted this in the wrong section or whatever. I still need to get used to this forum.
Second, English is not my native language so it could become some gibberish from time to time. I also have to mention that my Android skills are somewhere between newbie and advanced, so please keep that in mind.
But let's get ahead to my problem:
Some days ago, I decided to install Linage OS 14 on my SM-N910F because I don't like the Stock Android 6.0.1 of it.
As you know, a custom ROM requires an unlocked bootloader an that's where my struggle starts.
I simply can't find any tutorial or similar for my phone. The only one I found didn't work (It was with adb fastboot, the process got stuck at "<wating for device>" after the command "fastboot unlock oem" which was described in the tutorial).
I retried it about three or four times before I gave up. It feels like I searched the entire internet, including this forum, but I couldn't find anything useful.
Maybe it's my fault because I didn't look properly, but yeah, know I'm here to ask directly:
Do you guys have any tricks, tipps, ideas or tutorials for me to try?
If it helps you, my phone is already rooted. (chainfire's CF Autoroot)
It'd make me really, really happy and already thank you for your (hopefully) incoming answers.

Pretty certain your bootloader isn't locked, you just need to install twrp with odin and then you are good to flash lineage

Thank you for your fast reply. I'll try it once again, moreover I'll let you know if it worked.

It's me again. Flashing the ROM worked, my phone now runs under Linage OS 14.1. But now I've got another problem: Gapps. Somehow I can't flash the Gapps package, TWRP always tells me that the file is corrupted. I downloaded both the Pico and the Nano package for ARM Android 7.1* devices. Both don't work. I also tried the Android 7.0.* version, but that didn't work ofcourse. (Error 20: Wrong Android version installed on the device.) Is it my fault because I downloaded the wrong packages or what's the issue?
It'd be awesome if you could help me again.

Okay, now it works. TWRP was right, the file was corrupted. I figured out that my PC kinda messed up the download of the package. I downloaded it with another computer and now everything works fine.

got my 1p5 into emergency download mode, don't know how to fix it.

i posted in the questions thread but it looks like people get answers quicker if you make a post, so.
i tried rooting my 1p5 today and i messed something up, after unlocking the bootloader but before flashing twrp. i can't boot into fastboot or recovery, and it doesn't show my phone in my file explorer (though it does in device manager).
someone on discord said i got my phone into emergency download mode, that i can push the stock rom and restore to factory defaults, but i don't know how to do that and they haven't responded yet.
can someone please tell me how to do this?

Flashing android 6 over android 7 - brick

Hello,
I`ve been reading forums for 8 hrs now but can`t find any help.
I`ve flashed 6.0 firmware on 7.0 device without bootloader unlocked. Device can`t see any WiFi. When I try to flash via fastboot it`s always the same.
I wanted to enable oem unlock to unlock bootloader to instal TWRP to flash new firmware from SD card, but cant acces settings - no wifi - can`t go over setup wizzard.
Can enter fastboot, recovery mode. Win10 here RSD(odin like software) can`t see my device.
Do you have any suggestions what do do to instal any firmware that will work on my xt1580 Moto X Force?
Looking forward for help.

I don't have this device but, the XT1580 is actually a Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and your best bet is to post this question within the following thread.

Broken Screen, no USB Debugging, not flashed, S5 G900F

I am pretty sure that there was help for this problem already, altough in the threads I went through I couldnt find a solution working for me and I probably need to be taken in hand.
My S5 has a broken screen. Touchscreen does not work, display doesnt show anything. The device was not flashed, USB-Debugging was not activated.
I installed CWM recovery with Odin and I can (finally) find my device via "adb devices" in the cmd.
I am really a newbie with this stuff, but I would really like to somehow save my contacts and my calendar (had some important dates there and had not synched obviously).
I found some sites that tell locations of .db files of those, but I have no idea how to get there and what to do, those sites didnt really explain either.
Methods I tried so far include:
smart switch --> Problem: needs screen confirmation, but screen is dead and black
Fonelab --> stops during process, costs ****load of money
dr fone --> money and doesnt do the calendar
My Phone Explorer --> works with the new phone, is installed on the problem phone, but I dont get it to work there
from the forums here I tried "RecoverData", which spits out lotsa folders and files. Would be good for music and pics, but dont need those. Don't know how to use it for calendar or contacts
also tried Android Control, but it gives me either an offline or a rejected
I manage to get the phone into recovery mode or download mode, which isnt already not working as the sites say, but I get it to run.
Would be really grateful for help

Yes I did. The problem here is, that when I am in recovery mode and use the program there, then I get an "offline". If I enter the commands listet there in the adb after the reboot the program does not find my mobile anymore cause no adb. Sadly I am really such a newb.

I'm going to be honest with you and tell you that I haven't been in this situation before with either of my S5 G900V devices.
I can only suggest what I would do in your place by replacing the Digitizer Screen but, I'm not sure if you would want to do this.
I've rarely ever needed to do anything myself regarding ADB control.

I read now about some connector that allows me to put my mobile via HDMI on a screen, I will try that out when the order arrives.

Just thought id let let you guys know if I manage to pull and write I'll keep you all updated but would need help of someone who knows how to Dev or at lest understand what I'm trying to say to post guide that's if it works fingers crossed
Ok so far I've for read and dump working in edl bootloader unlocked
I hope to get a Dev to help format this better as I am not one but basicly what I did was remove licence vererifacation on all update material and adb/fastboot and edl related stuff with lucky patcher after setting up a storage link with spatcher and then reinstalled through spatcher and odexed it all I also formatted an old recover IMG and installed that on spatcher and with all that together you can basicly enter com port 4 on edl rather than 3 that allows some basic read write functions then because I had removed varifactaion on the shell.apk it allowed me to unlock boot loader without keys then I reset every thing and did a adb reboot fastboot and used miricle box to unlock boot loader again without mods and even though it couldn't find keys it allowed it
Forgot to mention to trigger crash dump you load a dsu and boot from it

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, it's possible that you have some information not known to us mortals.
But if you're talking ComPorts you're talking though your hat.
Please clarify. Something like:
"Yeah, I'm getting this VID/PID and there is interface #0 which is a bidirectional bulk, but I'm also getting interface #1 which is a CDC for something interesting..."
(OP not seen since March.)
