Hi, first post here!
I was just wondering if anybody else has noticed a little bit of stuttering/lack of smoothness when doing certain things? For example, scrolling down Facebook is not smooth at all for me, Twitter is a lot better but still isn't perfectly smooth! I also notice a bit of stuttering in games such as Temple Run. Also when I go to the menu and scroll right, the first time it stutters a bit, but then will be perfectly smooth after that!
I'm unsure whether this is just the phone, or there is a problem with mine/something slowing it down? I might have just not noticed it when I first got the phone, but I am sure everything was perfectly smooth before.
I would say, yes... but you said "not smooth at all". Is this even after it has loaded pictures, posts, statuses, etc? Maybe a video of this in action or something could help out.
For now, I'm going to say yes, I have noticed stuttering. It is slight and it occurs because the phone and apps are not perfect.

Ok, but please: Do not blame your phone for the badliest-programmed-app-on-the-whole-planet-ever, named Facebook.
Really mate... These are app issues and have nothing at all to so with the phone.
I titanium bu to freez the Facebook app. It uses memory and battery 24/7..I use the tabr app for fb and twitter.

Problems with badly coded apps rather than the phone itself.

Could these apps be effected the rest of the phone though? Like I said the menus can stutter sometimes, where they didn't before, and also scrolling down in everything single app has definitely lost the smoothness it had!

I sometimes face this micro stuttering too on entering app center for the first time, entering and swiping the second time after the screen turned off doesn't stutter.

Is it just me or does this phone has a slow camera on snapchat? Every time I tried to take a video on snapchat, it seems to be laggy and slow. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I updated to B350 and later downgraded to B300 and I have the least lag with B300, but i still have lag and poor quality with normal camera
B350 is 5.1.1. B313 is M.
I have v20 t mobile
And phone lag too much
Too much lag and delay in every thing
Like cpu in power saving mod
I flashed cm rom and it has no problem
What causes this lag in stock LG rom?
Settings/Developer Options/Tick on "Force GPU Rendering" this should make this beast smoother/snappier" If root available try L Speed/Entropy/fstrim apps found on Play Store! LG V20 & LG G5 are snappy beasts, well optimised with Snapdragon 820 and is better than Samsung.

It is really weard
Sometimes phone fly
Sometimes lag very much
I dont exactly know the problem is
But that phone has bad software optimization

Be checked (On)
For my G4 it appeared to be slightly smoother scrolling

They are killing my v20
My phone lag with them
Opening any app lag
Opening settings lag
Opening state bar lag .

My v20 performance was like I'm using samsung note 2

Read something about certain apps doing it mainly like Facebook Twitter and can't remember the other but I have neither on my phone and it runs fine.

Just in case there are still have people having this issue. I second this.
After removed Messenger Lite and Facebook app, I experience the responsiveness that I never experienced before.
It improved my gameplay experience for 王者榮耀 (Arena of Valor/ Honor of Kings/ Strike of Kings) as well. From unbearable lagginess with lowest graphic setting to smooth highest setting.
Hello guys, whenever i attempt to do photos or videos on snap, camera is very smooth even the front ome, but shen i apply the filters it goes like 2 fps or 1 frame on 2 seconds, so it is very choppy, otherwise i don't see much lag, how can i fix this?
It sounds like the processor is overheating causing the lag

Yep their should be for android 5.1.1 I dunno about 6.0.1
I haven`t found a way to solve that. Seems that the processor is not powerful enough.
I think the filters are making the processessor run high so the processor is at fault

I recently got a s8, and im in love I really am, but im very very worried because it lags in snapchat a bit and while opening facebook messenger heads. I'm just wondering if there is possible that something is wrong with my device or this is all normal.

Hi! I have noticed the same problems with my s8, and as you said its mostly on snapchat and messenger. Are you running them while the power saving mode is turned on? I noticed that apps like these lag on power saving mode for me.

Nope power saving turned of for me... maybe is just samsung update or something because other apps run fine as far as i can tell
Also lagging a lot on messenger and Snapchat. Done a factory reset to see if it would fix this but no joy

I think there will be a software update to fix it, because on Android O the s8 is almost as fast as the note 8... and Android O is still in beta.
Mines crazy smooth. Especially on Oreo beta as you mentioned.

It depends on the carrier. If you dindn't get a notification asking to update that means you have not gotten the update yet. I'd wait a few more days or even weeks and the update should be out for everyone. :good:
